 Lamia Scale is known for appreciating strength and endurance over many other aspects. Their male members are often considered to be rugged characters with stubbles or full beards, with many tattoos, drinking and smoking a lot, but despite their looks they are mages with a good heart willing to take down any threat that comes their way. The female members are often seen as scary due to the reputation of crazy strength surrounding in Lamia Scale. Lamia Scale's members however come in all shapes and sizes in reality. The general public did get the part right about their destructive and careless nature when executing their tasks resulting into many fines coming their way from Crocus. Over the years Lamia Scale has accumulated a major debt which is the reason why they haven't been able to purchase upgrades for the guild. The members don't seem to care that much about training halls and are simply fine with living a life of battles and excitement under Master Aguero. Their name is a reference to them being scary and durable.
 Lamia scales is situated the center of the Orchidia. The guild has four bridges, extending across a moat. Each side is nearly identical to the other. The most noticeable attribute of the building is it’s golden trim and golden doors. Although it is obvious that the exterior of the guild isn’t maintained consistently due to the plant life growing on the building, the headquarters continues to retain its strong durable structure. The architecture and design of the Lamia Scale base of operation makes it nearly perfect for a siege Lamia Scale's base of operations is a headquarters that houses all of the members. The building is located in Orchidia. The headquarters has four bridges, extending across a moat. Each side is nearly identical to the other. Several features of the castle are a dining hall where the members have their meals, a kitchen to complement the hall, a public bathing area, an underground cage filled with beasts, and a female living quarters which is heavily protected with traps. Regarding living quarters, it would seem to have been established that the senior members have much larger quarters than the newer members.
 Shahrbaraz is a quiet person that only speaks a few words. He is a wanderer from Desierto, always traveling around to look for new battles. He met Aguero, the previous Master of Lamia Scale, on his journeys when Aguero was still young. After having witnessed Shahrbaraz's skills, Aguero kept following around Shahrbaraz and pleading him to take him in a student. Shahr was impressed with the boy's tenacity and dedication after having been followed around for months. Shahrbaraz trained Aguero for a few years after that and then split apart. Aguero wanted to travel back towards Fiore and Shahrbaraz heard about something interesting going on in Sin and ventured that way. Many years passed after that. Shahrbaraz decided to travel towards Fiore after hearing the rumors of successful coup. He also decided that he wanted to meet his apprentice Aguero again and challenge him for a battle to see if he had improved. When he found out Aguero was murdered, Shahrbaraz decided to stay for a while in order train Lamia Scale a little bit.
