Today started off better than most. Being a Tuesday, he didn't have that much to worry about beyond the usual lot. Over the course of the past few months he had rented out a small flat near downtown as it seemed he wasn't leaving any time soon. Apparently Cecillia's short ass had forgotten about him as she hadn't called him back in just yet which was just fine with him as well. Of course spending almost four months in Crocus would drive any one up the wall. It was so stuffy here. They had apparently limited alcohol a month ago, so that was a thing. If that wasn't enough to drive any sane atheist up a wall, it was Valentine's Day. A drinkers paradise if you had asked him to be quite fair.

Dragging himself out of his flat, he strolled down the rather gothic looking hallway. Tugging on his general rugged outfit, he found himself outside in short time due to the route taking him directly into the foyer of the building he was staying in. Passing the doorman, he stepped out in the sunlight and shielded his face immediately. While definitely more sober than he normally was in any usual instance, he was definitely not used to being this cognizant at such an early point in the day. Looking about at all the casual denizens of the city, he continued on with his pathway into the nearest pub to search for something to do on this dreadful day.

The smoke from the establishment filled the street immediately before it, letting him know that the pub was already filled with the loneliest of people and it wasn't even noon yet. He would glance at the job board for a small bit of time before peeling one off to give it a closer eye. Apparently a drill sergeant needed help with some kids and getting them to exercise? Sounded easy enough to him.

Folding the paper, he'd slide it into his vest before stepping back into the bright street. Making a sharp left, he'd head towards the park. Might as well make good time on the ordeal since apparently it all started in a few hours.

Dreadful. The word to describe Andromeda's overall feeling at the moment hung over her head like a rain cloud on a mission to depress her. She didn't know what it was and honestly it was probably more than one thing. Homesickness, the lack of faith people seem to have in her god no matter what she did to spread his name with her deeds, the fact that she was going broke every other day and was struggling to feed herself. It hurt to think about it honestly, seeing as these things don't even scratch the surface of the things weighing on her mind. The only thing she had been doing to keep her mind off of the creeping thoughts was working. And so she found herself shuffling along towards the thing she had come to know the most... The job board. Usually there were people crowding  around the board but today it was mostly clear, except for a few folks poking around it, one of whom caught Andromeda's eye from a distance.

Shocking white locks and rich brown skin caused Andromeda to perk up. It was rare she ran into people she met but it seemed she was lucky with this one. Smiling a bit too enthusiastically the tiny blond kinda skip ran over to the male who she knew as Teiho. She remembered there last two encounters, the first far more than the last and she wondered just what he could have been up too this time. " Hey Tei! Hey! Long time no see buddy! " She didn't really remember when the last time was but she did recall the events well, which ended with tei kicking a dog so hard his ribs broke. She didn't care about that at this moment though, she was too excited to see a familiar face after so long. Skipping over to him, her dark blue mini skirt bounced about. She wore a very school girlish outfit, the colors toned down from her usual bright blues to a more dark and white ensemble. Her hair placed in a single pony tail rather than it's whimsical four tailed style she usually wore it in. Honestly the only thing that hadn't changed about her was her smile, it was a dime a dozen and could easily be noticed from miles away. Yup, that was Andromeda for ya, a bubble of good vibes.....

It seemed he was destined to have some company for the day while completing his task as a familiar face approached. The bi-polar or rather schizophrenic young woman, only known to him as Galaxy as he hadn't truly learned or remembered her name yet. He'd regard him with the same attention to detail that any other person would regard to a passing acquaintance before continuing on out the door, addressing her as he did so.

"How's it goin? Got time for a job? Apparently some Rune Knight can't handle teaching children simple physical exercises so he's asking for help. I don't know where they find these guys but it seems like they get worse every day."

He was of course referring to the previous job where the young man had actually lost his government issued sword, like what in the blazes? It seemed the basic requirement for becoming a rune knight these days was to not be a drooling mouth breather but to be honest he didn't even think it was that high. Turning the corner onto the bustling market way, he idly noticed that he was on the correct avenue that would lead to the park in question, having somewhat memorized the map of the city during his time there. It was a small faucet of his personality, but he absolutely detested being lost.

Picking up a few fruits along the way, he would pass one along to the girl, knowing that she would have at least followed him having approached him first and thus knowing he wouldn't be able to shake her like a leech, he'd at least give her some nourishment since it looked like she hadn't eaten in awhile anyway. He was slightly curious why she was still around the city but it wasn't his business and he wasn't the kind of guy to pry into others well being, so he kept his mouth shut and waited for her response.

"Funny thing I was just about to go snag me a job. Lucky I found you first, so yea I'll help out. I'm pretty sure they hire anyone with basic working functions to join the rune knights. I was at one point thinking of joining them myself. But that would just put a hinder on my own personal grind. " Chuckling lightheartedly she began to follow Tei, taking the piece of fruit he offered her as the two walked to their destinations. She hadn't really noticed before but now that her mind wasn't overwhelmed with thoughts that depressed her she could see the world around her with a little more attention to detail. All around places had red, white, and pink decorations of hearts and the like. Roses ran rampant in the street carts along with some pretty pricey chocolates. People seem to be closer to each other, couples showing all kinds of blatant attention to one another. It was odd, since she had been here she had never seen people act in this manner before, it was almost a little worrying.

" Pretty odd day today right? Is it just me or does it seem a little more...Pink than usual in the streets today. " Her question was directed of course towards tei. She figured he know a bit more about what was going on than she did, it seemed like these people were celebrating something or rather someone? She couldn't honestly tell with the way individuals clung to each other, with kisses, hugs and all displays of affection. She thought it was nice but honestly it made her feel a little, left out. It was as if she missed something important and wasn't going to be able to join in on all this, whatever this was.

He'd laugh openly at he reply. She was right, as long as they were functioning individuals they were pretty much allowed into the fold. Shaking his head at the thought, he honestly wondered what her grind was. If he recalled correctly she was all about her god, whatever he name was. But now it seemed she wasn't so big on it since she hadn't mentioned him even once. Oh well, things change over time he guessed. She had asked him about the change in the streets and quite honestly he couldn't tell her. Sure he'd lived in Crocus for the better part of a year now, but he had never bothered to learn the customs and traditions of the land. Being a nomad, things of that nature didn't really matter to him. He'd shrug in response before pointing to one of the locals.

"Ask them cuz I have no clue". His voice got a little bit of the Seven twang as he spoke but that then quickly got squashed as he walked into the park and approached the children. "Alright Kiddies, time to shape up because I'm going to whip you up into a frenzy. If you can't keep up, I'm docking you. If you stop, I'm docking you. If you do it wrong, I'm docking you. Get it? Got it? Good. Let's begin." And with that he'd turn to Galaxy to let her take the lead.

It seemed for the time being she would be lost on whatever was going on in this town. A shrug of the shoulders in response was all she could muster at the moment. It didn't take long for her mind to be pulled back to what she was around for and soon her eyes laid themselves on a group of children talking it up in the park. Andromeda watched as Tei took the lead and from what it sounded like he would be the one to discipline and she would be the one to train. She had never been in a leadership position before and smiled smugly. This was the perfect chance to strike fear of Zeus into these young unsuspecting souls. Souls that could be easily swayed to praise, souls who were more open and willing. Without hesitating any further she walked up in front of tei, a bolt of lightning striking down upon her tiny frame and causing her body to change from that of a unblossomed teen to a imposing divine being.

The children before her eyes widened and she couldn't very well place the emotions that had set into their faces. Awe? Fear? Surprise? she didn't know but she could tell they had too many questions forming in their minds, and it would be only a matter of time before it spilled from their mouths. " You all seem like strong children, but we will make you stronger. First we will start with a bit of stretching. Stretching before any strenuous work will help your body cope with the pressure you are about to endure. You wouldn't want to feel the pain of your body tightening up so badly that you wish you were dead now do you? " Smiling she began to process of proper stretching, making sure the kids were in proper form before letting them do it themselves. The children consisted of three girls and three boys and they all seemed a bit too eager and less frightened then she wanted them to be.

It took almost an hour but in that hour the children had ran a mile with some tripping and lots of docking from tei's end. Jumping jacks, push ups, pull ups, lunges the absolute works. The children fared well, one could tell their parents were probably apart of the rune knights or they had some really disciplined lifestyles. In the end things went smoothly but this was not the end. It was bad enough that the Rune Knights were useless enough to call on another to do a job they could have very well done themselves, so these kids would get some proper training, not that Andromeda knew what that was. " You kids, for the most part did well. But let's see if you can outrun me in a race. Of course you can't but If you use your combined efforts I'm sure you can take me down. " With that she chuckled because the look on those kids faces were priceless. " Just kidding. exercise complete. Now you can all go. Make sure you eat and get some rest... Let's go hand this job in tei, i'm feeling a bit hungry myself. "

The little girl struck and imposing form as she cast a bolt of lightning to imbue herself with magical energy. The children were mildly startled from the unnecessary display but hey if it got them into order then power to her. Watching as she took them through the motions, he was able to assess the individual skill levels of the children. Of course some excelled at this sort of thing but overall they might as well have been plushies for how well they were doing. Total lack of stamina nor any ability to do even the most basic of stretches. He pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation as they carried on for the remainder of the hour.

Shaking his head at the end, he'd watch the kids go home, mildly annoyed that these kids were being trained by walking talking incompetence. Going off to collect his pay, he'd wonder when the Rune Knights would stop being run by a collection of muppets.
