I was reading the rules about the green, orange, and red topics. Regarding the orange topics, if just say my character had their arm cut off for either plot purposes or in battle. Are we allowed to have some prostetic arm made from metal or something. Its still able to be miamed and no special effects or anything. Just plain metal. It is just for show and nothing else. Or could be some other material such as crystal or something like that?

Is something like that allowed? I am just curious.

One must emulate both the fox and the lion, because a lion cannot defy a snare, while a fox cannot defy a pack of wolves.

No, not without such things showing up in the shop.

Maiming is made for the purpose of giving the user a penalty that still allows them to function (ie, not death). Maiming threads are made with the knowledge that it is possible. The idea that one could lose their arm and immediately get an aesthetic to make up for that sort of defeats the purpose.

There is a chance in the future that there will be prosthetic's in the shop- That being said, this isn't being discussed now. If you lose a limb, it is gone. If you lose an eye, it is gone. Fixes may come up in the future, but that's how it is for now.
