Hello,
I'm gonna work on a little project whenever I finish my schedules for the forum each time. It's just something I'm doing for myself but I could use some help. I want to draw Hip Hop and RnB artists in anime garments. There is a list below but other popular entries can be added as well. I guess when I have a couple of them done I'll share the results. They're gonna be very simple illustrations. The thing I need help with is characters that I could use for their garments, it should somehow make sense if possible.
Frank Ocean uses a reference to Majin Buu in Pink Matter, so I'll use Dragon Ball Z gear for him. I'm thinking bout Gohan's outfit. Bryson Tiller has a reference to Piccolo in one of his tracks so I'll use Piccolo's outfit for him. I don't listen to Yachty but I know he is also called Boat, so I thought about using Luffy's simple jacket as his outfit. If you have any suggestions which anime and/or characters I can use for their outfits, shoot a message in this topic. It's much appreciated. There could be more than one good idea for an outfit.
