Personal Name: Alfred Reinherz Age: 26 Gender: Male Class: Berserker Rank: C-rank Guild: Rune Knights Tattoo: Back of the neck. Face: Abraham van Hellsing @ Code: Realize Appearance Height: 195 cm / 6'4 Weight: 75 kg / 165 lbs Hair: Blonde Eyes: Blue Overall: Being several centimetres above the average human height, Alfred is what many would consider a "giant" simply because those who look at him usually have to raise their heads. Being the tall guy he is, his physique could be considered atheltic, built through years of training and hard work. Leaving the well-built body aside, his distinctive jawline complements his hairstyle perfectly. While the goldish blonde of his hair would normally suggest nobility and such, its spikes give a rather rebellious feeling, creating quite an interesting match. If someone ever dared to look into his eyes, they would see a mesmerizing sea blue colour. All of these go hand-in-hand with his deep voice which is a real boost to his masculinity. Extra: Wears glasses from time to time. Personality Personality: At the first sight, Alfred might seem a cold and quiet individual, sometimes even showing signs of violence, but the truth is that he is mostly a reserved and laid-back person. The best way to describe him would probably be "the ultimate devil's advocate" because of his thriving on the process of shredding arguments and beliefs and letting the ribbons drift in the wind for all to see. He doesn't necessarily do this because he is trying to achieve some deeper purpose or strategic goal, but for the simple reason that it is fun. No one loves the process of mental sparring more than he does, as it gives him a chance to exercise his effortlessly quick wit, broad accumulated knowledge base, and capacity for connecting disparate ideas to prove his points. Another interesting trait is that Alfred is able to make use of his confidence and authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. However, he can be characterized by an often ruthless level of insensibility, using his drive, determination and sharp mind to achieve whatever goal he set for himself. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Lex Regis Magic Element: N/A Magic Description: Generally known as a caster magic that revolves around the use of Ethernano, "Lex Regis" grants its user the ability of manipulating these magic particles for the sole purpose of ruling the battlefield with an iron fist. The caster is able to use the Ethernano in the form of ranged or melee attacks, condense it for its buffing attributes or even use it as an advantage from an utiliary point of view. Moreover, given its highly offensive nature, it focuses on direct attacks and increasing overall damage output, limiting its user from employing defensive spells or spells with healing attributes. This means the caster can only use offensive spells, self buffing for strength and endurance as well as supplementary ones. An interesting fact is the existence of several variations of this magic, known to be based on what historians of the Earthland often called "The Art of War". The feature that distinguishes this variant from the others is the colour of the aura, which, in this case, is blue. History Prologue: Born years ago in a land not far away, Alfred came into the world as the son of a dedicated hunter and a loving mother. Their family was part of the lower classes, owning only the house in which they lived. However, in spite of the family's hardships, they managed to afford their son a somewhat decent education which trained him ever since his childhood for the rigors of life and the challenges of working under the Crown. Childhood: Alfred started to learn about the world almost as soon as he could talk and walk, his early life being spent serving at the court of a so-called nobleman where he was treated with almost no warmth or empathy. For a boy growing out of childhood, that could have been a deeply distressing experience, but Alfred understood, even at such a young age, that living means not to give up. There, the Lords were disturbingly absorbed in themselves and, as he received orders over orders with even the most basic of the human rights being ignored, the first lesson of the young boy was humility. Constantly dealing with the gossips of the ones around him and the displays of rage that had nothing more than cards and games of luck at their foundation, the second lesson learned taught him not so captivating aspects of the adult life summed up by a world of conflict and competition. Adolescence: During the first half of his adolescence, the life of the troubled boy changed as it always does. Luck seemed to get a grip on him and so he took on the opportunity of becoming a squire. Although the whole divergence seemed sudden and unexpected to him, deep inside he knew that he was slowly turning into a man. When he earned the title of "squire", one of little meaning to the society, but a deep one to him, Alfred went through long hours of weapon practice, learning how to deal out hard knocks and how to take them too. As the years went by, he learned about honour and chivalry, learned how to fight and how to defend himself, but at the same time, he was still chained down by the higher classed sociopaths. Soon enough, after knowing that there was nothing left for him, with his parents dead of old age and his legacy lacking a destiny, the troubled boy - now almost a man - decided to leave on his own as an adventurer. Adulthood: As days, months and years passed by, the path he took on seemed to be the most he could get out of his life. Every now and then, Alfred would have harmless flashbacks of his old life. Only he knew what exactly pushed him into becoming an adventurer, clearly being motivated by personal gain. One day, while casually travelling around his country, he ran into an old man being at the risk of being killed. It seemed that evil individuals with powers only heard of in stories had no intention of letting the man live. With an instant sense of duty, Alfred charged into the battle, holding only onto his sword, not caring that he could end up wasting 22 years of life by dying. He didn't stand any chance and the battle was over before he could even swing his weapon towards the opponents. He found himself lying on the snow, blinded by a powerful light, yet no sign of pain in his body. Somehow he survived, but did the old man die? As soon as Alfred's sight returned, he noticed the old man leaning over him, hearing only four words "Thank you, young man." That was the moment when his life, once again subject to change, turned into a living fantasy. He learned from the old man a variety of things, such as vague stories about "The One Magic", terms like "Ethernano", tales about powerful wizards and even a magic for his own use. Epilogue: At some point in time, after he reached the age of 25, Alfred also heard stories about the greatness of Fiore, a land located on the westernmost peninsula of Ishgar. This Kingdom was known to be a real haven for knights and mercenaries, cutthorats and adventurers, infamous mages and famous ones, all willing to risk their lives while chasing glory, fortune or power. In this very land of great dangers and opportunities, Alfred saw the key of leaving his past behind. He finally felt that he had the possibility of holding his future in his hands, freed from the chains of his life, able to choose his own path. Therefore, intrigued by the stories he heard, he joined a caravan to Era, located in the central area of Fiore. |
