Leyaria White Dragon Slayer The first job since her return to Hargeon had been one in which was actually rather simple, quite easy to accomplish, and otherwise one in which she didn’t take much disappointment towards doing. Help a man accomplish workout. It was a simple exercise and task, one in which did not require her to do much, other than simply by there, whether for moral support or otherwise; she did not feel as though there were much interest or genuine need of her to be there. Rather, it seemed as though there had no genuine reason for her to have been there, but ultimately, a reward was a reward, so there was little reason for her to otherwise reflect too heavily on the task. Instead, it left her with the idea that if this was the sort of work that she was to expect within a place such as Hargeon, a place that she scolded with as much resentment as she were honestly capable to, but she wasn’t about to step away from jobs, particularly if they were as easy as that one had proven to be. Walking around, it didn’t take her very long to find out another request, the nature of it seeming to be far more legitimate, having far greater creadance than perhaps was warranted, otherwise appearing official in nature than the rushed request of which the previous job she had taken appeared to have been. Listed by someone who bore the seal of the Hargeon Police, a group in which she was loathed to say that she was friendly towards given the fact of her past with regards to her father, but at the same time, things had shown her that Hargeon was different from what she could remember, and as such, she was left forced to believe that that was what could have been the case this time as well. With a bit of reluctance, she had met with the man who had issued out the request, a man who’s appearance could have as easily been misinterpreted as that of a female as it did that of a male, but the sound of his voice, deeper, far deeper than what Leyaria expected, killed any of that belief. Within a matter of moments, she was thoroughly convinced and of the opinion that this was a male, regardless of how much his appearance would otherwise lead her to believe. Wasting no time and preferring to avoid introductions, the man spoke with Leyaria with authority, immediately telling her the objective to which she was to finish, to find the teenagers who were going throughout the streets, tagging so much of the areas with graffiti which was causing far more problems than perhaps what of someone may have wanted or otherwise would have liked to appreciate or think about. Because of the damage that was being caused to the streets, it was difficult for the people of Hargeon to combat it, as well as putting taxes on the people who otherwise did not want it taking place. Leyaria White Dragon Slayer It was a simple enough task, at least Leyaria thought that it was going to have been one. Taking just a short trip throughout the city of Hargeon, it was pretty clear that this was a problem that was honestly far more serious than what the officer made it appear. Wherever someone may have turned or moved towards, the reality was that they would not be able to simply remove all of the graffiti on their own, not without some significant help from others. Given Hargeon’s state, for as better as it appeared than what Leyaria recalled, she had trouble believing that she would be able to do this, nor was she under the impression herself that she was expected to have had to deal with this. Right now the task at hand was simply that she was expected to have had to retrieve and acquire the necessary cans of spray paint that the people were using. As she continued through the streets, she noticed how much it seemed that they were engaging in these activities, as it was appearing more and more blantantly and with even fewer sense of regard for concern of what they may be creating. It took long enough, but she and Geth had finally managed to come across what appeared to be a handful of kids, none of them perhaps much older than fifteen or sixteen years old, with maybe one of them being a little bit older, but for the most part, nothing more than teenagers. When they saw Leyaria, there was a bit of confusion as to who she was, but as she explained to them what she was doing, needless to say they weren’t concerned or worried about who she was or what she was doing there, but when they did realize what it was about, they were very apprehensive, reluctant to do what she had asked in stopping their spreading of the graffiti. It wasn’t until the oldest had made a counter offer to Leyaria that there were any idea and beginning of some sort of negotiations were able to take place, and Leyaria, for as much as she hated the idea of removing her shirt, couldn’t help but figure it was a one time thing only. Doing exactly that, hating herself and feeling that she was betraying against a common tenant of general decent practice, she exposed herself to the teenagers, the reactions from them being a large collective moment of joy and delight. Having hated doing that herself, she demanded that they answer up and pay their part of the bargin, to which they agreed to with no real level of resistance or arguments. Placing all of the spray cans in their possession within a small bag, they provided it to Leyaria, with far more respect and curtosy than what they had shown only earlier, which pleased leyaria but also made her feel a bit dirty for having done so. Once she presented the cans to the officer, he repayed her and she was on her way to take a shower and clean herself off. Word Count: 1022/1000 Heaven Sent, Crusade Driven |
