First off I just wanted to say hello and warn you that I am a very shy person ^.^

Buy anyway my question, I am going through a rough time figure out a magic to create my character. (Too many thoughts going through my head at once xD).

But as I was dabbling in making a form, I wondered about magnetism. You see magnetism and magnets are like my favorite thing, due to the fact that they are misunderstood.

Anyway, would magnetism magic fall under lightning magic? Due to the fact that a magnetism and electricity are connected. (If I am not mistaken a electric field generates a magnetic field, and vise versa. Although I may have it wrong)

So would magnet magic be considered lightning magic? Non-elemental? Or Earth?

Magnet Magic would not generally be involved with Lightning or Earth and it is non-elemental. I understand what you're trying to say but in this context, Lightning magic is a separate form from magnetism. If you make something like releasing shockwaves from a magnet or pulling an opponent towards you; something what a normal magnet would do, it does make sense for you to have Magnet Magic. Of course, you can add your own creativity here to your spells. However, it cannot be combined with Lightning or Earth.

Okay, I was just making sure. My interpation of magnetism magic would be manipulate magnetic substances (Metal mostly), use diamagnetic poles to 'push' and 'pull' objects away, manipulate magnetic energy. And that was mostly it. Would that be possible?

Thank you for your help, I don't know if I am going to go through with magnetism magic though. Right now I have completely figured out a character, is there anything need for the role play? It is probably going to be a while for me to gather my thoughts together, I am sorry if am taking to loong.

All you need to do is create a character here (don't forget to put "wip" into the title and replace it with a "completed" once you are done) and use this template. Afterwards you may wait for a moderator to approve you and then you are good to go and can start roleplaying.
