Not that long ago, Alice had been some sort of hero of the day for five minutes when she had dashed into the Kardia Cathedral to safe the people inside together with another Rune Knight and girl. She had been very afraid to enter, but able to enter and do something that her job would ask from her meant more to her than her fear of the Illumin. Which also meant that she would get over her fear and just give Lacie a nice kick on her ass and show the.. no well it wasn’t really necessary for her but it felt so important because of Konstantin his job. She had to get over this fear of the church, after all she had nothing hide, and she had done nothing wrong. She wasn’t a demon and she doubted with every fiber in her body that she had ever been one or had been possessed. There was something Lacie would have to explain to her since her dead mother couldn’t do that. She and Ophelia headed out of the Bed & Breakfast to get more used to the city of Magnolia, which had been her hometown till the age of eight perhaps. The age that she was so called killed by her own family, how lovely. Only Selena her mother had tried to save her for as far as she knew. She hoped, really hoped that she would get more information from being here but up till now nothing happened. She strolled around the city, kicking stones away and muttered some things to Ophelia that weren’t really conversation worthy but she was hitting a dead end. She had been gone for about a month and thus had no idea where Lacie could be to kick her ass and demand answers. Her hand traveled to the scar on her abdomen but the answer to that was still far away too. It wasn’t as if she wanted to know but since her adventures here, she started to think about that too. She looked up to see where her legs had carried her and looked at the Kardia Cathedral. It was already repaired there was nothing visible about the fire a few days ago. She narrowed her eyes, maybe a few of the bricks at the top looked a bit black but she actually thought it might be the shade of some trees.
She decided to walk around the building to see if there was anything, besides she didn’t have anything better to do so why not. But the Cathedral looked the same as before the fire and she was glad for it, for some reason. It was better for the illumin, the children and people that depended on it. She sighed, if only she could. She turned the last corner and showed up at the front door of the Cathedral again, ”Hello miss Baskerville.” She looked up in surprise, to see one of the Father’s standing outside, she nodded, because she lost her tongue to repeat a hello.
