With the green herb scattered along the paper, Jeeroy proceeded to roll his joint, the same as he did every day before a mission. With it secured tightly, he put it to his lips and lit it as he looked over the requests posted for the day. He was weaker than he had been in a long time as he had been skipping out on training.
The smoke he drew in cleared his head as he scanned over the missions for the weaker mages in Fiore. Though it displeased him, he remembered the words of those in the guild he joined. "You start from the bottom and you grow with us. We will make sure you are taken care of and become one of the strongest mages around!" The woman who recruited him had said. That is what he wanted, to be strong, and so he would start from the bottom and work his way up. His hand found one of the flyers and he read over it, sighing as he found out what he needed to be doing. His muscles could be doing something better than delivering medicine, but if it would gain him jewels, so be it.
He gathered his belongings, dressing into a white shirt and some black dress pants, and then he headed out into the bright town of Magnolia from his hotel, joint still caught between his lips poking out from beneath his mustache as he made his way towards the church. Pulling a doctors mask upon his face to keep any unwanted germs from entering his body, he headed into the church to meet with Father Jerad, whom he quickly found among the crowd of sickly people looking very annoyed and overwhelmed with the work that he was doing.
The man was young and it was hard to believe he was a priest at his age, but Jeeroy went with it. He approached the man, tapping on his shoulder to gain his attention. As usual, the man jumped when he turned to see the giant towering above him. Stammering, he greeted the man with a sense of fear and annoyance in the tone of his voice. "Hello sir, if you are sickly and in need of aid, please take a seat and we will make sure to get to you as soon as we can!" The man said, trying to turn back to what he was doing beforehand.
"Father, I am here to help you deliver medicine to those in need." Jeeroy explained. The man turned back, looking at him with a smile of gratitude.
"Oh! Thank you so much! So all I need you to do is hand out some medicine to the sicker people around here. We need all the help we can get! I can pay you for your services later!" He handed a box of medicine to the man and turned back to the business he was handling before him. Jeeroy handled the box with care, as he was used to breaking things that he held too tightly in his grip, that was part of the reason his last girlfriend left him. He would hug her in an emotional fit and nearly squeeze the life out of her. It could have also been the fact that a human woman such as herself could not handle Jeeroy Jr. in the bedroom, after all he was a giant...in more ways than one.
Stopping at the first group of sick civilians, he handed them all the medicine, getting plenty of thanks for all the help he was providing. It warmed his heart hearing those words. As he moved to the next group, he stopped as well, getting the same reactions. By the third group he was in tears once again. With his emotions going crazy, he stopped, putting down the box, and ripped his shirt off. Eyes immediately fell on him as he pulled a handful of glitter from his pocket and threw it in the air before flexing. "Thank you, dear civilians, for your kind words! I have never in my thirty years met anyone with such gratitude towards me and I do not know how to deal!!" With that, he left his shirt on the ground and moved around to the next group.
Soon enough, he found himself finishing handing out the medicine and made his way back to the priest, who looked a lot less stressed. With a smile, the man took the extra medicine back from Jeeroy, not questioning his lack of a shirt. "Thank you sir! I have no clue how I would have done it without you! You have been exposed though, so please take some of this for yourself, just in case." He said, handing Jeeroy some medicine, which he took. After Jeeroy collected his reward, he headed out of the church towards his hotel.
