Personal Name: Maxwell Windhelm Age: 30 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Class: Adventurer Rank: D-Rank Guild: Rune Knights Tattoo: Blue on the Right Shoulder Face: Twigo - The Seven Deadly Sins Appearance Height: 6’5” Weight: 195 lbs Hair: Light Blue-ish/Green Eyes: Orange Overall: Maxwell is a very large man with a muscular build. He has a peculiar curly mustache and thick plucked eyebrow, along with a fairly ordinary buzz cut hairstyle, orange eyes and an angular face. As for his choice of apparel, for casual wear he wears a tanktop of any color along with khaki shorts of any color, black or short socks and black or white sneakers. When he is on duty he wears a red and grey-colored armor and a brown scarf around his neck. Also, unlike in the picture, his gauntlets don't look like mits, but metal gloves with his fingers each individually being seen. This armor doesn't have much in terms of defensive capabilities however, as it is made from the cheapest of qualities. Maxwell will most likely get rid of it when he gets something better. Extra: N/A Personality Personality: There are a lot of complexities regarding Maxwell Windhelm, but in public he is generally a socially welcoming person that doesn't have a hard time chatting with other people, regardless of their personality in most cases. He doesn't like being alone so in his free he can almost always be seen walking around a town in Fiore with any number of his acquaintances, or perhaps even a stranger that he happened to hit it off with. During an encounter with the large man people will probably infer that he is brimming with optimism, sounding happy most of the time when he is conversing, especially with that loud booming voice of his that could be heard from dozens of meters away at times. People would also see that he is rather brave and confident since he isn't afraid to speak his mind either, recklessly hurting the feelings of others at certain times. Depending on the situation he might apologize. Behind this bubbly Rune Knight however is a person that has come to the conclusion that his life means very little, and that if he were to perish at anytime, the world would move without him, including his family. This realization has caused him great depression whenever he is alone, as he starts to think about the fact that all of the great conversations and events that he has gone through are mere memories now, that time goes by in a way that will always leave someone wanting more and more, but they won't get much more as their time on the planet is very limited. Ultimately, this all has spurred from Maxwell's fear of death, since he believes that the dead cease to exist, and that everything that a person has done in their life will no longer matter. He tries to live as socially and as happily as possible, attempting to take this bleak way of thinking off of his mind, and it helps, until he is all by himself that is. Maxwell doesn't have a true goal in his life because of this dark way of thinking, himself assuming that goals mean nothing. However, many people in his life have truly opened up to him, showing him that there are those that do indeed think that there is a reason for living, and thus they find much more joy in their life than he does. Because of this, he finds joy in protecting those with such an outlook, believing that if they have truly found a way to be completely happy, then no one should be able to take that away from them. One could say that Maxwell was envious of these sort of people in a way. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: N/A Magic Element: N/A Magic Description: N/A History History: Maxwell Windhelm was born in Magnolia Town to his father Max Windhelm and mother Sylvia Windhelm. Both of his parents owned a shop that did well enough for them to afford a decent living in the area, so they didn't have to struggle in life all too often. After him there were also two other children, his sister named Olivia that came two years after him, and his brother Axel that came fours years after him. The Windhelm children had a great childhood, being the trio that tried their best to get along with everyone in their neighborhood and even beyond that when they went further away from their house with their parents. Maxwell was the most optimistic of the bunch, usually being the one to start conversations while his younger siblings followed suit. While the three of them made many friends this way, they also had many enemies in the form of bullies that went around the neighborhood picking on other children and stealing their money and other things. They weren't able to do much to the Windhelms however, as Maxwell did his best to protect his brother and sister. He was larger than most people his age, and a lot tougher so he was the ultimate defense against jerks. Many others hung around him for this reason, but the boy didn't care since he felt good being able to protect others, making them happy while doing it. Over the years the Windhelm children still stayed their same social selves, making many friends throughout their years in school, although there was one big change to Maxwell. When he was 12 his aunt on his mother's side died, and what he noticed during this time is that although his mother used to speak about her constantly before the death, about what she had accomplished in life as well as stories from when they were children, that stopped. He once asked what happened to her now that she died, and his mother answered "she is gone from this world, but is in a better place now." Throughout the years however, Maxwell heard from many different people very different things about what happened after death, leading him to believe that no one exactly knew. While Maxwell kept up his social attitude, he couldn't help but be depressed about death, wondering what would happen to him if he died. He believed that no one would even mention him anymore, just like what happened to his Aunt. He would be gone forever. Not only that, but Maxwell started to think that everything he did didn't matter whatsoever. The people that he befriended, the adventures that he had with said people, and everything in between eventually just became memories that weren't as good as living in that moment in his opinion. Basically, he hated that the good times never lasted, but the fear of death and loss of time always would. When the Windhelm children were all in their teens, the younger two developed magic that allowed them to deal with the bullies that seemed to never disappear. The same went for a lot of their friends to, but Maxwell still only had his natural strength. He was the one being protected rather than being the protector. This was a problem because protecting his siblings and friends was one of the only things that made Maxwell feel that he actually had a reason to exist in this world. While he himself didn't care much about his future, it made him feel good that he could help out those that cared about theirs. Due to this he felt his ability to keep up his optimistic attitude wane, not being as cheerful as he once was. His friends and family were worried about him, but he told them that he was fine, not wanting to truly open up to people, despite his usual forthright personality. Eventually Maxwell found a new passion that got his mind off things in writing. If he couldn't be the superhero anymore, he figured that writing one would do him good, and it did. Upon graduating from school he even made it a career of his. It gave him his usual personality back, making people around him relieved. Years later his occupation changed though. For a while he really thought that his days of protecting people were over, but one day when he witnessed a dark mage committing criminal acts in public, he witnessed a Rune Knight that didn't have natural magic go toe to toe with him, even defeating him in combat and arresting him. This made Maxwell believe that all he had to do was train his body a little more and actually learn how to combat the criminals. Acting on impulse, Maxwell joined the Rune Knights, deciding that it was the proper way to get him back into what he used to do best. His parents and siblings supported him too, so he didn't regret this choice one bit. Reference: N/A |
