She was getting back into it, the cold that lasted quite a while had disappeared and she was ready for action again. She didn’t go away from home to sit on her bum and sulk about her horrible life somewhere else. Besides her life wasn’t that horrible, she had a loving father and well a loving sister depending on the timing when you asked Mary but still they liked each other as long as they didn’t steal each other’s clothing: read Mary stealing Phoebe’s. Phoebe couldn’t help but chuckle as she thought about it, watching her reflection brushing her long raven black hair. Brushing it over her left shoulder and holding on to it as if it was something precious, she could imagine Mary waking up as well and looking through Phoebe her clothes this morning, right now Phoebe wasn’t at home anyway so the only one to stop Mary was her father and she doubt that the man would notice which clothing belonged to Mary and which belonged to Phoebe. She was worried if the laundry would be done alright if Mary made use of her clothing, maybe she should return at some point to only get a lock on her door. But she didn’t plan to return soon, she had done that because of the feeling of being homesick and she had felt that again yesterday for example or the moment that she was all alone and had that horrible cold. She shook the black hair out of her face softly as she was done and stood up. She was ready to go and do a job, it was better than looking gloomy at her reflection, on which she smiled and grabbed her red purse as she headed out, locking the hotel room door behind her. She headed down the stairs and waved goodbye for today to the desk clerk when she headed outside. She looked up with a hand shielding her eyes against the bright weather, even though the sun was shining bright, there were a few clouds and she had to be very aware of the fact that rain might show up today. She headed off towards the quest board to see what was on there today.

This was the whole reason she had gotten up early, since she was still a bit slow she didn’t go on her normal morning runs but she would check out the jobs and go for breakfast after that. There were a lot of people, just as she expected but she managed to make her way through there to look at the papers that were on the quest board. She noticed one that would make her a good sport for today so she took it quickly before someone else could and made her way out of the crowd to go and grab a coffee somewhere and read the quest carefully. When she was waiting for her coffee she read about the Kardia Cathedral handing out medicine to treat the sick and poor, which sounded like a good idea.

She looked up when she heard an order for coffee and stood up to get it before she would sit down at the same bench again and read the details, she needed to ask for Father Jared and show him the paper probably, she would see how that would go but she first finished her coffee slowly. That it was a hot beverage didn’t bother her with her fire magic, not that she was immune but she was able to change it once it was connected with her own body, no blisters in her mouth. She yawned when she threw the cup into the bin and stretched herself out before she walked towards the Kardia Cathedral. This time she was prepared to go work, that was different from yesterday but it had worked out so that was no problem at all. Right now she was wearing a pair of leather black jeans and a thin red shirt with long sleeves, it fitted her perfectly, her long hair she quickly bound into a ponytail while she was walking and she was prepared for working. Normally she wouldn’t want to do this, afraid she would get ill herself but she was a bit full of herself, showing what saint like person she could be. If it was just the common cold too, she had already had that, no worries.

She entered the Kardia Cathedral to see the person she needed already surrounded by sick people and she had to resist the urge to use fire to burn off all the bacteria surrounding her. He seemed to be happy to see her, the Father that was. She quickly disregarded her idea of the fire, she could use that later and simply smiled her loveliest smile and walked towards him, in which they easily jumped into a conversation and whe showed her worry for the people, which was more for herself but he didn’t need to know. She would get her hands full of medicine and work on the people inside the Cathedral, handing the medicine out and helping the very sick to get the medicine in if there was no family or support around. She felt disgusted but she didn’t show any of that, she would show to be a delightful young woman that wanted to help the community. The job took quite some time and she had to work on the urge to shiver when people touched her, she was going to die from this illness is what she thought sometimes when she heard people cough and after that touch her but she would be fine. When she was done she headed back to Father Jared and told him that she had done all she could with the medicine he had given her. He had done the others and he thanked her for her service and gave her some medicine, which she immediately took and the jewels before she left. Once she was outside and out of sight she let her body surround by fire to burn off every bad thing that had surrounded and touched her. She headed back to her hotel quickly.
