   Overall: Asher is a man who looks to be a free-spirit among the force, so the tactician is the best route to go, someone with a true full command over armies and their capabilities. Therefore, to strike intimidation, he wears a long turquoise-white jacket that reaches to his ankles, that covering up a black v-neck shirt and a pair of black jeans with white prints on the sides. On his hands are a pair of fingerless black gloves with a little diamond in the direction pointed towards himself. A golden belt is wrapped around his waist, followed by a blue belt created by his jacket, though that is never tied. His hair is a messy grey form, cut short to the point where no hair goes past the neck, his bangs nearly cover his eyes, and there is an adorable little strand of curly hair poking upwards noticeably.

Personality
   


   Personality:  This is a man who likes to bring a smile on his face, no matter where he goes. This smile however could mean anything, as the mind of a sadist and the mind of a collected being both share the same smile. A poker face he likes to wear, no matter the situation, as he is that confident in himself and his abilities. For battle, he takes charge to quickly put someone down before they can act, perhaps by playing slyly or with the assistance of numbers. While this is the case, he has no problem with asserting dominance in face to face combat, and he’ll make sure to do so as tauntingly as he can. With a casual acquaintance, he is more optimistic and relaxed of the bunch, often looking at the bright things in the worst of times. Signs of fear emitting from this character will be rare and should be treasured if they ever show up.

One thing to consider about him is his love for magic, as in his desire to learn more about it and its origin. When one presents a newer form of magic to him, he will do anything he can to get information on the magic and perhaps find a way to replicate it. Unfortunately, he is not that much of an innovator, especially with technology, so he has yet to show any results of successful metal machinery being able to copy other magics. Still however, he refuses to give up, as he hopes to one day be able to wield all forms of attacks, showing how stubborn and ambitious he can be when it comes to getting his way.

To authority, he is respectful and addresses them as “sir” or “ma’m”, though with a casual friendly tone rather than formal. When questioned, he’ll answer that question bluntly and no further if it’s to squeeze out information he’s not so happy to hand over. Interrogation is fine, but his sarcasm will pop out should it be negative. While he does not like to get angered, mental pressure on him from a being he is unable to fight back against will set him off. How badly depends on the pressure, whether it be snappy responses to perhaps even using a silencing or escape spell to get out.

  • Magic: Magic, he wants to see it in as many forms as it can present itself. If he has never seen your magic before, he'll do his best to analyze it if he can.
       
  • Control: Control, mainly in battle. Should he have fun, he wants to show that he is the one in charge of the opponent and not the other way around. It leaves a prideful message that he wants to spread to the world one day about him and his power.

  • Pressure: Mental pressure, usually when he is unable to fight back. He likes to keep himself at peace with his life, and those who put pressure on him will face retaliation in one form or another.
       
  • Ignorance: From himself or others, a lack of knowledge bothers him and he must know things that he does not know, even if it's none of his business.
       


   Motivations:
   

       
  • Magic: Developing his own to become powerful as well as learning about others. His family raised him to protect others, but he wanted to use the Rune Knight position to give him access to other areas and learn about all sorts of things in the outside world.
       


   Fears:
   

       
  • Breaking down: Losing a mental battle is the worst thing one can have, Asher hates it the most. Insanity is the loss of sense of reality, so ignorant, so helpless, it's a state of mind that he would prefer not to ever reach
       
  • Lack of control: In a battle, he wants to have control over it. If he ends up being the on the submissive end, he tends to panic and will fight for either escape or a way to shift the tides, growing more desperate as time passes
       


   

Magic
   


   Magic Name: Crystal Gale

   Magic Element: Wind

   Magic Description:  This is a magic based on wind manipulation, carrying out both offensive and defensive spells to create a versatile magic. The intention is to control an element that many beings breathe and have around them. The winds are based on speed so that they push hard against barriers and bodies, but also can deflect incoming projectiles and even attacks should the gusts push hard enough.  In the beginning, the wind attacks will be small and perhaps based solely on small defenses. But as they increase in power, this offensive magic will quickly take a versatile and tactical form. A bonus to this is that the winds glow brightly, reflecting off of light like a gem, or as a torch in the darkness. Being a tactical form of magic, this can cast Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary and Self-Buff spells. Beware, options are never limited.

   

History
   


   History: Protect the lands, protect the cities, protect those who need it. Asher was a child who was born in a family who aspired to be Rune Knights, though none of the possessed the strength to meet up to their expectations. So why such a curious boy who had little interest in such a thing? It was more the adventurer route that he wanted to take, being able to enforce peace and use it as an excuse to get out there and meet the forces of the world.

As a child, he had a huge interest in magic. It was tough for him to control his own, as his own strength came from that of parents who couldn't control their own. Something was missing, they were doing something wrong, wouldn't that cause a lack of a spark? One of them wielded wind while the other wielded light, so both parents gave birth to a child who had glowing wind. It was wind that shined bright, but still kept the properties of wind.

So what was the missing link? Having more an interest in magic than the position of a Rune Knight, Asher decided to do his own research on famous mages and how they cast spells. But no matter how many magazines he went through, it seemed more like a soap opera, so that option failed him. The next option for him would be to get desperate, perhaps start a fight or two. Desperation brought out the magic of people, right?

But to provoke a fight with his parents but purposely stomping on his mothers foot and running away only gave him the lashing of a belt. Not quite the adrenaline rush to trigger powerful spells. In his defense of running away however, he did develop enough fear within him to delay himself being caught by launching a small spinning top of crystal wind. Of course, his parents were far more capable and deflects the spinning top like nothing.

But that gave him a theory. What if he tested his luck? Gambling for example, that pumped adrenaline into anyone. To do this however, he needed to visit a casino, which was not accessible to him at the age of twelve. So of course, the best thing for him to do was break in and enter, though his idea of doing so was trying to get through the front door. Naturally, the guards did not let him through, despite how hard he pressed to get through.

The result eventually was a failure. He had to face it, his magic was weak as of right now. The adrenaline that he felt while inside Crocus was failing him. There must be some form of power he could obtain through the system. Outside of the Holy Capital, he needed to join the Rune Knights. So to get that rush and develop his physical body as much as he could, he would proceed to rush through the next years exercising and training his body as much as he could so he was less of a human and more a machine with the appearance of a human. Of course, this wasn't so effective, but he hopes his newfound strength will allow him to enter the Rune Knights.
