It didn't bother Elena at all to be frankly honest, as all that was on her mind was not her survival or health, it was simply just finding the mischevious true ice to increase the survival of her fellow tribe. Which at this point, to be extremely honest, is not going to happen any time sooner. All this previous past month prior, there has been no evidence or clues that would lead her closer to her tiresome, lonely journey of scouting for true ice. Perhaps it was a trial that the great goddess of Elestia, Elestialus is giving her, it was kind of romantic and inspiring when she puts it that way. Elena has been taught since at a young age, from the respectable elders of her beloved, High elders of Elestian high council, that the goddess was graceful and full of true benevolence, but sometimes the great goddess would also give them blessings masked through tedious, tiresome, trials that may seem like a rough time, however the godddess loves all her children, and would not be able to see them suffer. Everything that the great goddess does is justified, and it will always be for the best of her childrens life.
Elena didn't know what to do, she did think about joining a guild. But she hated confronation and the fact of dedication scared her. Her loyalities will always remain dedicated to her beloved tribe in the north of Elestia. But perhaps a guild will help her, more connections, more people which equal a higher chance of finding her goal- true ice. However, she didn't want to make strong connections of bonds of nakamas, as she didn't want to have to eventually part away from them, when her work in fiore is completed eventually. She always have a hard time with parting, this is shown clearly when she was forced to leave her beloved tribe in the North, to come search for true ice, in order to save her sweet tribe. It was orders from the high priestess, Shekinah, and all of the tribe members relied on her heavily for the restoration of their beloved home and native land. She could not of possibly left them sad, without hope in their lives, so she had to handle this all by herself. And take it on heads on like the big girl she was, she was a woman and no longer a little toddler that needed someone to hold her hand. She nodded her head before moving towards the request board for missions. Today she wanted another interesting mission, perhaps it would be nice to do some thing that involves some thing she has never done in her life before.
She had always been curious about fishery, how people fished, how bait works and what not. Especially in a place like Fiore where magic essentially flows in the air itself. She was extremely in luck, perhaps she should visit and buy a few lottery tickets today. It really was her lucky day again, as their was mission, that all it required was to sail with this fisherman, then help them use their magical bait which they will provide then help them lure and eventually kill the fish and be rewarded with said jewels. It sounded easy enough, and Elena loved fishing back at her tribe, only it was quite different. They didn't use anything like bait, they only used spears, and bows and arrows to hunt down their prey.
Elena walked slowly to the place where the client asked her to meet him, at the Hargeon docks. The client she would be assisitng today will be a fisher man called Jason Fischer, who apparenlty always had a hobby of fishing, and is now making a substantial income off of it by selling the fish he's caught. As Elena met Jason, she quickly greeted him and smiled. "Hi Jason, I am the mage that accepted your request and will be helping you today!"
Oh, Hi Elena! Thank you for coming out here today!" He shook the left hand of Elena, and started to explain the process. Soon after he started bragging about his new excellent bait that he apparently paid a heft price of a premium for. Elena and Jason started to sail out to the oceans, and Jason signaled Elena like how he instructed before to spread the magical lure around the boat. Elena nodded and proceeded to spray the lure exaclty like how her client instructed. Jason's fishing hook immediately got a reaction, and Jason quickly reeled the fish in, Elena quickly grabbed a knife and stabbed the fish multiple times to ensure that it's dead! "Good job, Elena! You are a natural!" Jason smiled and rewarded Elena as they went back to land. Elena went home happily now that she received her rewards and had a really long bath, and for once had a good dinner. As Jason was kind enough to actually give Elena a part of his big monster fish he caught today for supper. Elena fried the fish and had it with rice, before faling asleep peacefully.
