Magic Magic Name: Planetary Alignment Magic Element: -none- Magic Description: The user uses the planets as their source of magic, casting special spells to represent the planet, or planets, depending on the spell. The more experience a user has, the more planets they can "align" which makes the spell more powerful. Elk, being a Hierphonat allows him to use healing, supplementary, other-buff and de-buff spells. History History: Elk never knew his mother, his very first memory is of his grandmother rocking him to sleep on their wooden rocking chair underneath the picture of a sun rising over a field of grass so green it seemed unnatural, a small city was in the background, but what stood out to Elk was the man and the woman sitting in the grass, they were obviously the main point of the picture. They seemed to be laughing the woman was smiling and holding a piece of sandwich in her hand, the man was across from her holding a unfamiliar berry in his hand. Biirds with two sets of wings flew through the sky, pieces of blue were creeping up the sides of the purple sky, this was the picture of Elphesia. His grandmother told the same story every night as Elk would sit on the window sill, or on her lap, either staring out the window onto the streets of crocus, or he would stare at the multiple pictures around the room. The story she told was always the same, Long long ago, when the people of fiore still sat alone, no king to guide them, a planet far far away saw their separation and tried to save them from extinction. The planet was called Elphesia, the people there looked exactly like Fiorans, that way Elphesians could easily slip into Fioran society and save them from the end. So one day, the Queen of Elphesia stood up and asked her people to leave their beloved home, and flee to the stars, flee to Fiore to save them from the end. Many were scared and didn't want to leave Elphesia, but a courageous woman stood and volunteered, her name was Amya. Amya said goodbye to her family and friends and she lifted up and away and flew all the way to Fiore, where she was able to stay and save them from the end, but instead of returning home like she had promised, she vowed to stay and wait for the end, that way she could truly save them. Elk always remembered his grandmother loosing herself in the pictures as she would end the story, as if she was recounting a past time. Elk's life was rather mundane until he was 12, when tragedy struck his life, his grandmother died and left him with a house and enough money to last him three years. Elk searched for someway to find money, but came up empty handed each time. Finally after going through a few stories his grandmother had left behind, he found a story of a man from Elphesia, long ago in Elphesia the man had loved another man which had been illegal, so to meet in secret he created a magic where he and his lover could meet on another world to be together. Taking this as a sign, Elk began to copy the magic from the back of the book onto sheets of paper, translating the mysterious old language into something he could read more easily. After years of practicing the magic by himself he was finally able to move away from crocus using the last of the money saved up, buying a small house in Hargeon near the guild he had recently joined, he stashed all his personal belonging there. On his first night there in hargeon, he went onto his roof and used the magic telescope to look into the stars to see if he could see any new planet. That night was the 4th anniversary of his grandmother death, and up in the sky he saw a light shining brighter then he had ever seen any star shine. Using the telescope he looked at the bright flash, and to his amazement it was a woman flying through the cosmos, clutching a crystal in her arms. Her facial features and hair color resembled Elk's own features almost perfectly. As he traced her path backwards, he was able to momentarily get the glance of a beautiful lush green planet, then in the blink of an eye, it was gone. From then on he has spent every night looking for that planet, he swore what he saw was Elphesia, and that woman must have been someone like Amya who had left her home to save another world from the end. Finally after 16 years all the dots connected, his grandmother had been Amya, she was from Elphesia, his home was back on Elphesia, but he had no way to get there, at least not yet, but upon his grandmother's grave, he swore he would get there.
