So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in Word Count: 559 Total Word Count: 559/1100 From: Hargeon To: Baska | The softness yet pugnacious maneuvering of the unseen gusts of wind was remarkable as it grazed over her pale skin in a rather floundered attempt to spread a boreal feeling throughout her body. The golden locks spread over the pale blanket that covered the vicinity of her bed but was adorned with bursts of red and green. Her body rested in the midst of the large comfortable mattress as she serenely slumbered through the dazzling morning. The pale eyelids that were closed moments ago, slowly began to hoist upwards, revealing the lilac hues that lay underneath, which showed nothing but signs of hunger and fatigue. She was awake, but did not move at all, instead gazed upon the white walls that laid above her as a sodden sensation engulfed her body. Heaving out a sigh, she raised herself into a sitting position, letting the blonde hair, which was damp due to the shower she had taken the night before, fall onto her back, desperately clinging to it. Momentarily letting her eyelids rest, she reopened them to intake her surrounds and showed no reaction when what lay before her was a pile of mess consisting of clothes, wrappers of food and flyers for jobs. Heaving yet another sigh, she hauled herself onto her feet which were covered in nothing but a pair of simple cotton socks. Letting the oversized shirt that engulfed her bare body be attracted to the gravity, she stretched her arms out before standing on her tip toes, relieving her body of the tension it had been through after a long rest. Alas, she was still tired but an unseen rush of adrenaline passed through her as the day of her departure had arrived. It was time for her to escape the town of Hargeon that she had been stuck in for so long. Having met so many people in this very town, the unfamiliarity she felt upon her arrival had now disappeared. Quickly rushing into the restroom to freshen up, she washed herself before throwing on the closest piece of clothing that lay next to her. Grabbing all the mess she had made, she managed to shove it all into one bag, throwing out the unwanted packets of food that she had munched on along the way, before stepping outside her accommodation. The green trees danced with the movement of the light breeze that leisurely and gracefully moved across the sky. The sound of the foliage brushing against each other gently entered her ears as she stood there before large blue body. Her emerald gaze remained focused upon the glistening liquid that was caressed by the rays of the sun, which landed upon her as well, enhancing the beauty of her long crimson hair. She let her eyelids shut for a while, letting her ears intake the blissful sounds. It was not the commotion of the nature that she found to be a bliss, but rather was the lack of pure noise caused my those mundane humans that she found delightful. Click. Click. Click. The sound of the heel from her boots reverberated around but drowned within the tumult of her surroundings as she strode past, trudging through the serene and lively town of Hargeon. It was her turn to leave this place as she set out on the eleven days journey towards her next location. |

So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in Word Count: 560 Total Word Count: 1119/1100 From: Hargeon To: Baska | Striding through the town of Hargeon, she let the light breeze assault her as it brushed through her wild blonde hair. Her eyelids drooped, barely showing her lifeless lilac eyes. She walked with her back slightly bent as the black leather jacket hung off her lower arm. The sleeveless black shirt she wore wavered at the touch of the wind. Her long legs moved slowly and her arms hung lifeless as she stretched her mouth wide to release a yawn which caused her eyes to close and tears to gather within them. A loud growl of hunger, demanding food erupted from her stomach leaving her groaning upon the thought of her carelessness as she forgot to eat breakfast. Making a quick stop, she soon grabbed herself something to eat as she dug through it without any further hesitation. She could feel the rush of energy flowing through her body. The breath of fresh air that she inhaled entered her body, left her energized. The carefree light breeze danced through the air, gushing past the mass of people that occupied the vicinity. Lilac hues glanced around, spotting families laughing and smiling as parents played around with their young children along with youngsters out to walk their pets or spend some quality time with their significant others. Streets remained crowded with busy bodies as they walked past, from one corner of the town to another. Indeed, she would miss this place but she could simply return. Right now, it was her time to roam around and explore whatever was remaining of the world. She wanted to be able to see every part of this country and help those that needed it. Despite having a rather selfish reason for wanting to do so, she wished to change the way people perceived the Rune Knights. The female didn't want anyone else to see them the way she had once. Of course, there was no guarantee that every single one of them was a good and just person who would risk their lives for what they truly believed, she wanted them to know that a change could be made. She wanted them to know that she could make a change. As she strolled through the streets for days, passing towns she had never seen and hoped to one day, properly visit, she found herself returning to the thought of her past time and again. The older she became, the more blurry things had gotten. It was as if something was missing in her memory, as if there was something she didn't know which held massive importance. She would escape her thoughts with the assistance of large meals that all provided her with energy as before she even knew it, days had passed by in a flash. It was as if time had moved fast just for her. Xandra stood before the town that welcomed the travellers and visitors to it. It was the town of Baska. It was now time for her to explore and even assist those in need. Hopefully, she could perhaps enjoy herself too during this time. Be it through meeting more people or perhaps, even making more friends. If only she knew what the future had in store for her. Perhaps, these days may end up being the most important days of her life. It was the time to find out. |
