Rishi Namatzu

Today Rishi had been a bit scared. She had woken up way earlier than she ever had before, and that was only because she had been having nightmares. She was supposed to be helping Luciel again today, and what she had to help with had just put her off. She really didn't want to see the monstrous creature, and when she did there would be a major problem. She didn't know how she was going to react when she saw it, but the way it was described by Luciel and the dreams she had been having... she knew it wasn't going to be good. She just laid in her bed and stared at the ceiling, as she really didn't understand why she decided to help with this. She would be scared of this for years, it'd be like a horror movie in real life, and Rishi would be the main character, and the mutated creature she would have to deal with today would be the thing that would be after her. She really didn't like what was going on, but it was going to have to happen because someone needed to stop that thing. She would have to put her fears aside and deal with the creature herself, making sure that it gets permanently put to rest.

She sat up and started to fully wake up, ready to get this job over with. She would be getting paid more than she normally would for this job, and this was exactly what she needed, seeing as she had seemed to be going through her money faster and faster, and she needed more money to get back on her feet. Thinking of that made her even more ready to get this job over with, and it had made her mood a bit better. Her face had shown a slight smile, and she finally got the horrible images out of her head. She got ready and walked out of her hotel room, ready to go find this beast and put it to rest once and for all.

The streets had been filled with people today, and this had been just what she had needed. She needed to get as much information as she could on this mutated animal, as all she knew now was that it was a test rat that had gotten some kind of potion poured onto it, and it had made it around 1 meter tall, and it had escaped before Luciel could trap it. Now of course this information had come from Luciel, but it wasn't enough information for her to be able to do anything about it, it had just told her what she was to be looking for. Before she was going to start asking around, she had gotten her daily lemonade from the normal place that she gets it from when she buys it. She hasn't liked buying it lately, as now she knows that she can make it herself and it tastes way better than any lemonade she could buy.

Rishi Namatzu

Rishi had gotten her lemonade and was ready to start talking to people. This was going to be an interesting day, as she would get to find out what these people were seeing and hearing. This rat was a vicious creature, and she was eager to hear what these people knew about it. She had walked up to the nearest person and said, "Hello there! I'm very sorry to bother you but do you know anything about a giant rat?" He had just looked at her like she was crazy and had walked away, not saying a word. Rishi sighed and walked to the next person and asked, "Hey there! I'd like to see if you know anything about a big rodent that has been around here, do you know anything at all?" and she had replied with, "No I'm really sorry, I wish I did," and this had kind of annoyed Rishi. This means she was going to have to do a lot of asking around, and she would have to get more than a few lemonades.  That was okay though, because the more time she spent asking around, the longer she could prepare to fight the rat.

She went around and asked a few more people who had only seemed to know rumors about the rat, which didn't really help her at all. She had asked the other people with the rumors if they had heard the other people's rumors, and of course, they had no idea they existed. This had automatically made all of the things that she had heard from people about the rat false, and she would have to keep looking. The only information that she had needed to get to this rat was where it was located, and she was sure that with this group of people, it wasn't going to be easy. She had asked around for a bit longer and then had just sat down and thought. She would probably have to go to the crazy person to get any information about this rat, as that's how it always went in the movies. She walked up to the nearest person and said, "DO you happen to know where the crazy person of this city lives?" and of course they replied with, "Well of course, I thought everyone knew that. He lives in the outskirts of the east side of the city." "Thank you!" she said to the lady and she had walked to the east side of the city, looking for an old shack of some sort.

Of course Rishi had found what she had been looking for, and she had asked the old man a few questions about the rat. One question she had asked him was, "Do you happen to know where this rat stays?" and he said, "It lives in an abandoned house in the outskirts of the west side of the city." He had given her all the answers she had been looking for, and she had set out to go to the west outskirts of the city, now looking for an abandoned house.

Rishi Namatzu

She had found the house she had been looking for, and it had sure looked abandoned. She was a bit hesitant to go inside, as she really didn't want to have to see this rat. She had figured it would have a mangled face, a terrifying size, and the sharpest teeth she would ever see. She had been ready to fight this rat though, and she wasn't going to let it harm anyone or let it's mutation spread onto other animals. She wasn't planning to use her katana, as she was going to test out her ring. She had bought it from a merchant because she had been told it could turn her into a wolf, and that had sounded pretty appealing at the time. This seemed like the perfect time to test it out as well, so she didn't see why she wouldn't try it. She had made sure to keep it fixed on her finger, and had slowly peeked into the house, making sure that it wasn't just waiting for her to come in so it could attack, which of course it was. It had jumped out of the house, and Rishi had come running out, as it had been a terrifying sight. She changed into a wolf and the rat had come dashing at her, teeth bared. The white wolf rushed towards the rat, and the rat had unsheathed it's claws and had swiped at her. She jumped back, then ran forward and bit the rat's back, and it had screeched in pain. It whipped it's tail around and ended up smacking Rishi off, causing her to go tumbling 1 meter in the opposite direction. She pulled herself up and charged again at the gigantic rat. It tried whipping it's tail at her again, but she grabbed onto it with her teeth and pulled it towards her, now clawing at its back.

There was blood spilled all over the battlefield, and the rat fought for it's life. She was a bit surprised it was fighting so hard, and she had actually had to put a lot of effort into taking it down. She brought it down eventually, and as it had let out it's last breath, it had looked at her like it was thanking her for ending it's misery. She had changed back to normal and had tried to wipe the blood off her clothes. That was a tough battle, and in the end the rat had met it's match, but it had seemed grateful to have gone. She grabbed it by it's tail and had dragged it away, far away from anywhere that people were living. She had kind of felt bad for the rat, as it was just living out it's normal life until that potion had been spilled on it. Then again it had been a test rat, so it wasn't all that bad. It was smart, and she was sure that if it wanted to survive, it would have defeated her and went on it's merry way.

Rishi Namatzu

Rishi had finally made it to the spot that she was planning to put the rat in the ground, and she had dug out a hole. Right about now she had wished that she had stayed a wolf, it would have made it much easier to dig this hole. It had to be pretty big, considering that this rat was the size of a small child and it's tail had been very long, and she didn't want to smash it too much. She wanted to be gentle with it, as she had been sympathetic and had actually cared for it. She couldn't bring herself to a conclusion on why this was, but it had been so and she couldn't do anything about it. She had ended up making a shovel out of fire, and that had made the digging much faster. She could stop digging with her hands like she was a dog and be able to dig like a normal person.

She had finished a bit later, and she was ready to bury the animal. She had written a note and had put it into the hole on top of it, and then said her last goodbyes. This rat was actually nice, and she was sad to see it go. She did what had to be done though, and the job had been done. She couldn't go back, and she was really scared of the rat, even though it had seemed to be friendly. It had just been defending it's territory, and she could see in it's eyes that it truly didn't want to hurt her. She started dumping the dirt inside the grave of the rat, and tears had been rolling down her cheeks. She really didn't want to be the one to have to do this, but it seemed it had to be so. She wiped the tears from her face and finished burying the rat, and looking up at the sky. This was a sad day for her, and she felt that she really shouldn't have killed the rat, even though that's what she was getting paid for. She loved animals, and she had felt that it was wrong, and that every creature should be valued. It seemed some people didn't feel the same though, and that was something that she just couldn't change. She walked away going back to get her money, rethinking what she had done today. She had enjoyed a few things, but dreaded some other things. There were always things in life that were going to be that way, and some of those she would be able to control, others not so much. Life is a roller coaster, and the one she seemed to be on had many loops and bends. She wished to get off sometime and get on a kiddie ride, but for now it seemed she would have to live her crazy life the way it was, and enjoy it while she could.

She had retrieved her money and went back to the hotel room to wash her clothes and go to bed, ready for another interesting day tomorrow.
