Personal Name: N'Umoya Jakande Age: Thirty One Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Class: Warlock Rank: D-rank Guild: Phantom Lord Tattoo: Center back, PL Purple in color Face: Erik Killmonger - Marvel's Black Panther Appearance Height: 191cm | 6'3" Weight: 100 kg | 220lb Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Overall: N'Umoya is the living representation of his country's pride and culture, while taking on different aspects that have allowed him to appear and come across as modern and keeping up with appearances. What sets him apart instantly from the rest of the crowd is his flawless, picturesque brown skin. He appears to be chocolate come to life, brown eyes beaming proud and mighty as could ever be and a smile that's equally flirty, assertive, and calming. His hair isn't as long as he would like it, but he makes due with what can be pulled off. Short dreads are cropped to the right of his head, revealing a modest side fade lined up very sharply. His facial hair is regal, yet modest and kept very sharp and lined up much like his side fade. His body is finely sculpted, appearing to be practically all muscle. His torso is the canvas of ritual scarification, receiving such marks on becoming a man, culturally speaking. Aside from also being well endowed, he has nothing else that comes out as striking to his looks. His clothing matches the task he has at hand, never really sticking to a uniform look. However, on missions he does keep to a single attire, as he finds it the best overall gear to wear for missions with varying and interchangeable variables. He dons a blue form-fitting, long-sleeve shirt underneath what appears to be an army vest, combined with cameo pants and sturdy black boots. When wearing civilian clothing he dons a simple black rope necklace with a jaguar's tooth dipped in gold as the centerpiece. Extra: Personality Personality: N'Umoya is a man who has spent much of his life learning from the mistakes of the past and capitalizing on the present. He is careful with his actions and words, although there have been many times when his temper has gotten the best of him. Beneath the surface N'Umoya has complex desires of his future, and his personality will reflect the more ambitious whims of his mind. He is generally contempt with his situations and keeps a level head of problematic situations that arise, but his emotions get the best of him at times. Self-control has been a strong suit of his in recent times, stemming from a youth of misdirected anger and complications with expressing his emotions. His most outstanding quality is his loyalty to family and friends, choosing to back them even when the odds do not meet their favor. He favored his father's heritage over his mother's own, he himself appearing to be more of his father's lineage anyhow. With that came a modest sense of pride but recklessness when he puts his heart into anything. Otherwise, all things put aside, N'Umoya is fun-loving and a thrill-seeker at times. He enjoys cooking and going out in group parties to exotic locations. Calm and courteous outside of work is he, preferring to slow down and enjoy the life he has. Somewhere deep within his psyche does anger stir, unchecked and dormant. N'Umoya rarely has bouts of anger, and when he does they are moderate and quick. However, he does understand that anger is something that plagues his family, and he does what he can to make sure he does not go down the path of his father and ancestors. The Jakande tribe draws on the power of their emotions to fuel their drive, and N'Umoya has seen what anger-driven power can lead to. He takes steps to secure his calmness. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Obeah Magic Element: Darkness Magic Description: Obeah is a Caster Magic that utilizes the element of darkness. In a traditional sense, Obeah is used to heal spiritual wounds and grant health and fortune. Having been trained as a Warlock, N'Umoya is able to use Offensive Spells, Debuff Spells, Self-Buff Strength Spells, and Supplementary Spells in conjunction with the magic. He can now practice the darker aspects of the magic, with the limit being his creativity. Practice of Obeah has the capacity to allow for N'Umoya to eventually develop a stronger connection to the dark practices of the magic, allowing for much more terrifying and nightmarish shapes and control of darkness History History: N'Umoya was born to the Jakande tribe of the eastern border of Savannah, son of the chief of the tribe and the chieftain of the Eastern Canyon region. His father, Tenkamenin, was a proud man with hardened scars of countless battles. He and his father (N'Umoya's grandfather) partook in coastal and interior conflicts against invading forces of Caelum, Bosco, and Minstrel, keeping the countries from kidnapping and forcing Savannah natives into slavery. N'Umoya was only a mere child at the time, but the effects the invasions had on his tribe were immense. One of the more affected persons was his mother, Makeda. Makeda was a native of Savannah through and through, but her heart longed to travel outside of her ancestral lands in search of more meaning and purpose. With these views, it would be easy to see how her relationship fared with her husband, who was her chief. Makeda was only two years the junior of her husband but her youthful vigor made her the apple of attention. Despite this, she remained faithful and loyal to her husband who sought to purge Savannah from the foreign invaders. During the chaos and conflict, Makeda chose her heart, and ran away from Savannah as far as she could. Tenkamenin would return home to see his only son abandoned by a mother he had now come to despise. Although Tenkamenin tried to make N'Umoya's mother the object of hatred in his own son's eyes, the young boy felt a small bit of empathy for his mother. N'Umoya would grow up to have the similar, striking features of his mother. He would also come to harbor the general aggressive behavior of his father, not knowing any better to compare to. His father re-married and the new wife gave Tenkamenin seven children. Although the chieftain loved his children, he favored N'Umoya the most, and trained him to be a hardened warrior. He succeeded somewhat, as the young man would grow up with the heart of his mother, longing to explore the outside world. Understanding that some things can't be helped, Tenkamenin decided to let his son venture out to the world. However, he instructed his son to return to Savannah once he died, to take his place on the throne. Until then, the young man sought out to experience the world in all of its entirety. He was able to track his mother and younger brother throughout his travels, and keeps in contact with the both of them from time to time. Wanting to take a spin on things, N'Umoya decided to join the Phantom Lord mage guild of Fiore. He has been there ever since, doing much of what he can to better himself for when the time came to return to Savannah. Reference: Myself |
