Morning had come, and the light from the newborn day was a good wakeup call. Shura sat up, a bit groggy from the trip. He looked over and saw Loki was right across from him passed out on the seat. Shura let him sleep a little bit longer because the train had not come to a full stop yet. They were slowing down as they reached the mountainous region of Baska. The whistle blew causing Loki to wake up. The train came to a full halt and Shura stood up from his seat. “Let's go home.”
“Ghastly!” Loki bounced up and followed Shura off the train. It wasn’t long before they were on the road again to Oak. A new chapter in their lives were beginning and there was much to be done. It only took minutes to move through the town and head down the road that led to Oak. Shura was thankful for such a innovation in technology. Hopefully something more advanced would come along, making traveling instantaneous. They did live in a world of magic so the possibilities were limitless, someone just had to put it into practice. Oak was only a hop and skip away now. It was time to get back into the swing of things.
