Rishi Namatzu

Rishi was doing her first quest back in Orchidia, and she was pretty tired. There was nothing that she really wanted to do at all, and even moving was a pain. She felt sick in the head and sometimes she would see splatters of blood on the wall. Her steps were weary, and her hair swayed like a weeping willow. She had no motivation, no life left in her, and she felt like she wanted to die, suffering from all the pain. She was starving herself all because of manners, and she called herself stupid all the time for it. Really there was no point in starving herself when she could grab someone off the street and just sip off of them. That made her think back to when she was on the train though when she had been thinking about how unsanitary it would be to grab someone and bite them without knowing where they've been. It was kind of disturbing when you really thought about it, but still, Rishi was hungry, and she was going to have to eat sometime. She wasn't planning on staying in this city for long, so she would wait until she got to her desired destination to eat, but until then she would be doing a quest. The grey-haired girl would be helping Dex Millar again, but she wasn't sure if he would recognize her or not. She couldn't recall whether or not she had eaten that cake before or after she had come to Orchidia, and whether or not he would still accept her for the job. She thought about these things and she warily walked down the streets, getting to the place that she needed to be in order to start her quest.

Today the town had been pretty silent, and some people were even spooked. The sun had been starting to set, and it seemed to have been putting a film over everyone else, making them all act differently than they did during the day. Rishi found this a little strange but she quickly dismissed it as she approached Dex. He recognized her instantly and had greeted her once again, but with a hint of fear in his voice. What was everyone so scared of today? What did she miss while she was gone? She had no idea, but as the two of them walked and he explained the current situation to her, she could see why everyone was a bit on edge. She was told that there was some type of big blue glowing ball around the river. She would probably be scared too if she would have assumed that this was a curse. What she thought it was really wasn't a curse at all though, she believed it was some kind of spirit. She wasn't really sure on what kind of spirit it was, but she assumed it wasn't a bad one because it hadn't been attacking the town or anything of the sort. "Time to get to work," she thought to herself before she walked towards the river.

Rishi Namatzu

There was absolute silence as she walked over to the river with Dex and Venus at her side. It had been complete night now, and the only thing really lighting their way was a small flame she had lit on her finger, making her able to see a few feet in front of her. It wasn't too much of a necessity for her, as her vampire eyes and stealth made it able for her to see and sense enemies from a little ways away. She needed Dex to be able to see where she was going though, so she lit a small flame on her finger anyways. Dex had been babbling about nothing in the background, and Rishi really wasn't paying attention to anything he was saying.

They had arrived at the river soon after, and the grey-haired girl was able to see a magnificent blue orb floating and spinning mid-air. She stared at it in amazement for a moment, then started slowly walking over to it. It had some kind of strange enchantment on it that made her want to go and touch it. As soon as she had started to walk slowly, Dex had finally gone quiet and had followed her without a word. Of course, he was making rustling and crunching sounds, but Rishi was completely silent, trying not to disturb it. She had gotten to the point where she could feel a warm feeling, and suddenly her hunger had gone away. Her finger reached out and touched the ball, making Rishi see her father, someone she thought she would never see again. Instantly she and Dex had been thrown back, causing Dex to black out and Rishi to get a few wounds on her face and arms. She couldn't feel them much, but the only thing she was worried about was getting Dex to a hospital. She picked him up and dragged him out of the fields, back into the city. It seemed someone had noticed her, and he rushed over to her and started to help her take Dex to the hospital.

She had waited for him to wake up and for her to get paid, and she had been talking to the man that had helped her carry him in. It had turned out that he was actually an important town figure, and his name was Dracol Lubex. She didn't understand why the two of them had been so important, but it had seemed that they had caught his attention and he wanted to be informed about things. Rishi really didn't care, and was only there still so she could get paid, so she didn't mind Dex telling the man everything.

He woke up later on, and Rishi had begun to go to sleep. Venus was full of energy, and sometimes the girl wondered how that little creature always was so energetic. Dex had handed her the money that she was owed and Dracol stayed, ready to listen to the story as Rishi walked out the door to clean up her wounds and get some rest.
