Rare, but not unheard of, this helmet bears a striking resemblance to the famed armor of warriors in time past, albeit in a far more unsettling variant. A sleek helm crafted with what to the brief glance would suggest a master armorsmith, upon closer glance there are no shortage of imperfections littered throughout its exterior. From niches and grooves of past battles indicative nowhere else upon the helm, to reddish burn marks that seem to glow with a heat that somehow persists, it is hard to tell whether an item like this adorned someone’s head is indicative of a horror to come or simply a case of looks being deceiving. Lore: A helmet that belonged to a brave warrior that was betrayed by his allies on the battlefield. His former allies had no intention of sharing the rewards of slaying the Lich-Lord with the warrior. As he died, he swore to exact vengeance upon all that betrayed him. The Lich-Lord heard his anger and promised to resurrect him with his conscience intact if he would serve him. Seeing no other way to exact his vengeance, the warrior accepted the deal and became a general in the Lich-Lord's army. In the final battle between his former allies and the Lich-Lord, the adventurers never even got the chance to see the final boss for they were all slain by the one that they had betrayed.
