To help the sick was no small task but the Saint known as Father Jerad seemed to have no issue doing so. Never complaining or asking for anything in return for his services, and Kincaid always took note of it, now doing his own to help out. The priest had hired him to rummage around the East Forest in search of a specific flower, one who's properties would seemingly prove useful in the fight against illness. Something which the mage didn't mind doing what so ever, as long as he could help he didn't exactly care what he would have to do.
So leaving Father Jerad back in the church, Kincaid would instead make his way to the outskirts of the forest not sure where exactly to begin. The description he'd been given about the flora was that it was a flower with a red center and blooms into orange petals, almost like some kind of fire flower or something of the sort. It sounded pretty but it was also super delicate and small and he would have to do his best not to do anything detrimental to the herb before it reached the church. He'd never be able to forgive himself if he did.
Now, walking along the outskirts of the forest he would be in search of the shrub that housed this illusive Blessia flower. Which apparently wouldn't exactly prove useful as he hadn't spotted anything similar for the half an hour he'd been search around the edge of the forest. Discouraging as they may have been he still managed to keep a positive outlook on the situation, even though his face was as banal as ever; the same expression of boredom plastered onto it. Maybe it was time to go deeper into the greenery to find what he needed.
Kincaid didn't hesitate in the slightest to simply walk into the tall green trees, disappearing to any onlookers as he while he slowly but surely went deeper into the investigation. Now looking around and attempting to do quick observations, swatting mosquitoes and other insects away from his eye line while he focused. Looking for something, anything similar to the description of the plant but nothing was popping up and it didn't feel like he was getting any closer to the target. Maybe if he tried to connect to the earth with his magic? Nah, he wasn't a nature mage so that didn't seem plausible in the slightest.
Instead he would release a signature sigh and continue on his merry way, stopping every once in a while to look around and eventually his eyes would beam with happiness. Low and behold, he managed to find the Blessia in the shade of a tall tree and being eager he almost gripped a bushel to put into the sack he'd brought. That was until he stopped himself and looked closer, noticing the thorns all along the shrub... that was fun. Moving into a crouch, Kincaid would carefully begin to collect the specimen at least thankful he could find it.
