It wasn't too tough, she merely had to exaggerate her state. In all fairness, having to use her gun and the lack of associated thought or guilt, at least in the moment she fired, had left her feeling hollow. It was the same feeling in the pit of her stomach, that she felt after killing the vampyre... and then the demonic demon-slayer.
The guilt always followed only after the act, when it was too late to take it back. Perhaps it was the blood that had such an effect on her... She shivered slightly. A sideways glance at Tsuru confirmed that she may have earned his concern yet again. She tried to put on a bolder face now that they were well on their way away from the blasted Oak town.
It was a pity that they had not been able to accomplish what the healer had set off with, but their victory in Baska still carried them through. They were headed for the town they'd saved yet again... Perhaps it would serve to lift their spirits.
