They'd been having a pretty productive day so far... Working for Mrs. Noran early in the morning and inspector Nilan later on, one could hardly argue they'd gained much in either funding, let alone combat experience, hell, even a colossal beanstalk like that didn't take much effort to knock right down. Well, it was a D-rank mission so Alisa hardly expected anything else. When doing jobs this meager, she relied on quantity, not quality, to feel productive at the end of the day.
"How nice of the good inspector to give us some extra work, wouldn't you agree?", noted Alisa, looking over the sheet of paper he'd given him after they got done with the beanstalk. Even now they could still occasionally overhear relieved comments about the missing beanstalk making everyone sick, enjoying a measure of pride in having left the town better than when it was when she came in. Shifting her gaze back to Baron, she couldn't help but muse aloud, watching him eat, wondering if he'd return the ball back to her, cupping her cheek, "Still, I wonder what manner of plant can get everyone ill, and grow so fast... And most of all, how in the world did it go undetected all this time...?"
As a kind of reward for a job well done, she took her impromptu teammate out to get Pizza, her treat. Not that she didn't like Pizza or would even mind spending a couple of jewels feeding a healthy eater like Baron... But were she by herself, she'd have probably found a different place to eat, and as the senior member of her guild, buying a meal every so often seemed only natural. Of she hesitated after witnessing the man's appetite, she defenitely didn't show it, arms gracefully crossed over the table as she watched him finish his meal, sipping her own coffee in turn before leaving some jewels on the table:
"Well then, we shouldn't our dear client waiting. Let's get going~"
