"Where is he? Gone again?" Kyam asked one of his random guild mates who nodded to his question. Great, once again Shahrbaraz was nowhere to be found. There were things that he was finally to tell his guild master but since he was hardly around doing so wouldn't be easy at all. Kyam faced forward and sighed as he walked towards deeper into the guild. While he mainly wanted to inform his elder "brother" on certain things, he also need a big favor regarding jewels. Of course he wasn't sure if Shahrbaraz would even lend him the money despite the strength of their bond. After all, Shahrbaraz was man who believed things needed to be earned. Still, it couldn't hurt to try. A few of the other guild members nodded at Kyam who simply nodded back but if Shahrbaraz wasn't here than the only other person he was looking for was the second or third most strongest member of the guild. He wasn't done figuring everyone out yet, but he was certain that the woman he was thinking of had strength that averaged up to some of the less famous guild masters. She was pretty damn famous too so it was crucial for him to invite her to the event he was holding a few days from today. "Is the Wyvern here?" he asked another guild member directly in front of him. "I'm not sure, Kyam."

The sounds of click-clacks could be heard from her two inch high-heeled dress shoes hitting the glazed wooden floors as she walked towards the stairs. Once she was at the stairs her hand let go of the other to graze her right hand onto the railing. Each step was a careful one till she was at the bottom. Kai continued to hold onto a motherly smile while her golden, pupiless eyes wandering about to look at all the members of Lamia Scale. She was happy to be here and to help all who needed it. Even if they didn't believe in her or what she believed in.

Kyam's suit was freshly pressed. If it wasn't for the tattoos on his forehead he'd look like a wealthy businessman. Today it wasn't a tuxedo just a plain old black suit with a white collar shirt underneath and a black tie over it. As of late he tried to dress up because feeling like a man who actually knew what he was doing was great. After his guild mate responded to him he began to hear clicking of what sounded like heels coming from the stairs. When the prince turned his head he was happy to see the Wyvern. Of course she didn't really know him nor did he really know her but if she had any social relation with Shahrbaraz then she'd probably heard of him. Kyam was Shahrbaraz's personal underling after all. The Savvannan's smile grew wide as the woman made her way down the stairs looking as elegant as he'd figure her to be even without looking all fancy. Oddly enough the two matched. Kailette was known for her warming heart according to many of the members. Out of the strongest of the guild she seemed to be favored and loved. Hell, at this rate after Shahrbaraz she could become the next guild master. Shahr would never die though, that much was certain.
Quickly Kyam moved towards her, running his fingers through his hair as he met her just beside the bottom of the stairs. When he approached her he bowed, giving his respect. "Well if it isn't the one and only Wyvern of Lamia Scale. Hello, Master Kailette. It's a pleasure to finally meet you." The words flowed smoothly from his mouth as his accent tagged along. It was obvious that he hadn't known the common tongue of Fiore for long but ironically he managed to master it in under two years. He looked up at the majestic woman. She was tall and basically perfect in every way. This was the woman who was supposedly an angel. Or maybe she was a god? She was something otherworldly though for sure, he could feel it.

''How may I help you... ?'' She didn't know his name and hopefully he wouldn't be those types who would give her a false name. Out of anything, she hated disloyalty and liars. People from the Guild were watching them with nosy intent as they were curious on what the man wanted. Oddly enough, she remembered one thing. She was the Guild Master before Shahrbaraz and was willing to give it up to him as respect for Aguero. Kai believed it was for the best as he's quite the motivator. After he gave up his name she slowly walked beside the young man and went towards the bar to grab a cup of fruit. Afterwards, her head bowed to the person who gave it to her and looked back at the man.

The woman was so kind and calm it was almost soothing to stand in her presence. Kyam bowed but she wasn't fond of his formal greeting. Instead she told him that there was no need for it. Already he could tell that Kailette wasn't like other people. She spoke with so genuinely that it was almost too good to be true. However, Kyam could use this time to study her so that he could mimic her attitude towards him, when interacting with others. Kyam nodded and looked upon her with a smile, confident yet gentle in case she was one of those people who overanalyzed other people- like him. She moved off the railing asking her fellow Lamia what she could do to help him but left a space for him to fill in. So she didn't know his name. Interesting, perhaps she wasn't that analytical at all. Or maybe she truly didn't have the time to be. "Kyam." He simply stated. The woman then began to move towards the bar as the Chaos mage followed, trailing a couple feet or so behind her. "Well, master Wyvern..." he began as the woman picked up a cup of fruit then turned towards him. Kyam approached the bar beside her and began pouring him a glass of water. "I hoped to find Master Shahrbaraz here, but it seems like he's out again so now I'm in need of your help." he picked up his glass to face the mesmerizing woman. "Of course it doesn't pleasure me to ask you for a favor given that this is the first time we're meeting, but at the moment I am in dire need money. Of course I plan on returning a favor in the future, since that is the type of man I am." he said slickly before drinking from his glass.

Drugs.
Could be for something for survival. Perhaps from the store?
Contract?
Twisting a little, she went into the small bag she was carrying that was attached to her outfit on the right hip. Her fingers slowly tried to feel for the paper and took it out. Kai flipped it towards Kyam so he could see it and used her left hand to point where his signature goes. ''Sign here and I'll happily hand you over some jewels.'' she said with a cheerful, closed-mouthed smile. A few seconds pass and she quickly grabbed the pen from her left pocket to hand that over to him as well. The contract was very simple, but she wanted to make sure this wasn't going to bite her in the ass later so this was invented. ''If you have any questions, I will answer.'' Yes, simple.

Kyam chuckled just as the woman did the same. What could she have been thinking? Who knew? It wasn't like Kyam cared too much anyway. The only thing that mattered to him in this equation was the money, not even the woman in front of him mattered - at least not yet. He was however, thankful that she was so generous for there weren't many people out there who would give money without being convinced. Kyam placed the cup down gently onto the bar after their eyes connected for a while. The young mage played it cool and did an excellent job pretending that he was more thankful than he actually was.
After a split moment Kailette fished into her bag and pulled out a paper and a pen. All he had to do was sign this contract and she'd give him money. Kyam took the contract with one hand as the pen was placed onto the table. The contract was simple really. It basically entailed that he was to never leave the guild or betray her or it, ultimately forcing his loyalty to Lamia Scale forever. Papers meant nothing to him though considering they could be easily burned or ripped. The mage scanned the back of the paper and looked over it once more for any possible defined print as the woman offered to answer any questions. There was no defined print, luckily. He did have one question. Taking the pen and placing the paper onto the table he gave it his signature then turned towards the Wyvern again, handing the paper and the pen back to her. "One million, to be exact." he added.
"I've gotta say, this is very convenient. You must be a very generous person if you carry around a contract for Lamia Scale members all day, haha!" he began before picking up his glass again. He actually didn't want to further this conversation. He wanted his money and he wanted to leave but he couldn't help that there was something alluring about Kailette. Aside from him continuing speaking to her in hopes of building a positive relationship in case he needed her again in the future, part of him actually wanted to be around her, it was an unexplainable feeling. After she gave him the money he nodded in appreciation, then, boom!
"What are you?" he asked. The question was totally unrelated to the situation and may have hit Kailette like a bullet with how he blunt and random it was. He shot it towards her only to see how she would react from the sudden question. Kyam still smiled warmly, looking dead in her eyes and waiting for an answer. "Something tells me you aren't an ordinary human." He was interested in what she was given all the rumors.

What was she?
She didn't know herself as she knew she wasn't human, but nothing she has witnessed before. Answering was delicate to the ears as she had to choose her words carefully. ''I am not a human, but more like a Seraph's Chosen.'' she explain simply with her thick and soft accent of the French. Her hand removed strands away from her eyes as they tickled her eye lashes. ''I wish I had more of an answer for you, Kyam.'' she looked away and then back up at him. ''If I may be quite frank with you, I feel as-though you don't care about my matters. I am generous when I can be and rather or not they deserve it is seen later.'' she giggles happily. What happens to those who didn't deserve it is another matter. She knew there were things to do as she needed to go back to the Church for some chores to do. ''This was... a nice meeting. Perhaps we'll meet again, Kyam.'' Her head bowed a little and walked out of the Guild.

Happily Kyam took the Jewels. Money. Money ruled the world, with money one could potentially take the world. Unfortunately for him he hadn't had enough of it. It was a big change from coming from a family who almost too much money. Nonetheless Fiore was a humbling experience and without a problem he placed the jewels into his pocket. Kailette responded softly and elegantly stating that she wasn't a human indeed. Instead she was a Seraphs Chosen whatever the hell that meant. The words itself was enough for his skin to crawl and his head to get dizzy. It felt like his body was attempting to move away from the woman but Kyam had no intentions of moving at all. Then he remembered that he was a host for the demon of Chaos and that alone could very much be what he was feeling. The power of the chaotic demon was dangerous and being this close to something chosen by "Seraph" was probably too much for the demon. "I see..." he managed as a headache began to grow. not again. he thought as his head began to boom. The Wyvern began to move away but didn't actually dismiss herself until she said something that caught the prince by surprise. She was on to him. She somehow got the vibe that he didn't care too much about her anyway. Without even fighting it he smiled widely and genuinely still. "I don't." he replied calmly as she then continued to walk away not even fazed. She was interesting, having such a strong level of self-control even after Kyam admitted to actually not caring would require someone to be extremely confident in their abilities - but then again, she was the Wyvern. With the headache now pounding even harder, Kyam left as well, rushing home.
