PouchEryll rubbed his gloves hands along his arms. Even though he was wearing a jacket it was still freezing. A nice bit of snow covered the ground and Eryll was trudging through all of the white fluff to get to the frozen river.
He needed a bit of time away from the crowds of people that would swarm down the streets occasionally. He hadn’t realized how accustomed he had grown to the lack of people he had had to deal with while he did the tests. The only person he had routinely talked to was Kerii. Coming back to orchidia with its people was a little more then Eryll was truly ready for. So, for right now. Relaxing by a frozen river seemed like the right option.
The river was frozen, as it normally was this time of year. Eryll had no idea how solid it was, but he was pretty sure it was solid enough to hold his weight as he made his way across it. The ice made that terrifying echo sound as he skidded his way across. Prompting him to move a little faster than he should. To his dismay. The ice near the shore cracked and Eryll’s foot slipped in. Giving out a bit of an angry yelp he quickly pulled his foot out and hopped to shore. He mumbled a few things but tried to focus on quickly drying out his shoe, it was too cold for this.
