Sage looked even at the corners of the room to see if Marlee’s fiance was there or not but it seemed as if everything was done for, he couldn’t find him. He then went to the next room, he noticed that the duck from before was still following him but because the duck wasn’t showing that much of a nuisance or wasn’t harmful or even seemed harmful, Sage just let it follow him. Plus he got a bigger thing to deal with at the moment, he had to find Marlee’s fiance before he got discovered, not like he didnt know that he was discovered anyway. He then checked form room to room and then he checked this one very suspicious room, he opened the door of the room, he swung it opened and peeked inside, not letting his physical body through first as he was afraid if there was something behind the door that could hurt him. He then could heard somehting walking along the floor of the room, he pushed the door even more and peeked inside, his hand was on his sword, ready to pull it out at any given time if danger was going to pop up soon. What he saw next shocked him, he wasnt scared but he was glad, he let a deep breath out as he saw Marlee’s fiance squatting on the ground. “There you are!” he exclaimed with such joy that he forgot he was sneaking in but still he already knew that he was known that he was in the big manor house. As he approached Marlee’s fiance, he started to quack like a duck, he made his arm turn in a way to resemble that of a duck’s. Sage looked at him with horror in his face, “Just what have they done to you?!” he excalimed, he didnt want Marlee to see his fiance in a state like that, there must be a cure somewhere in the room. He started by rummaging through stuffs that was one the table, reading anything that was written down just in case if there was some sort of an instruction that could tell him how to reverse the effect of what was affecting Marlee’s fiance. He then found two vials, each containing green liquids. Both were labeled with, ‘cure’ on it. Sage didnt know what was it a cure for but he must bet his all that it was a cure for Marlee’s fiance’s condition. It must be or not he he couldn’t think of nything else that would help as he had looked through all the stuff and nothing was related itno curing something or reversing and effect. He then heard an evil laugh from the door he wallked in from, he turned around to see who it was, his right hand reached for his sword and he unsheathed it making a slight metal brushing sound. “Oh my,” the evil voice said as he walked into the light of the room, revealing his face.
