The air near the outskirts of the town wasn’t what one would expect. It was… stale smelling, as if the barrier had just off the wind and allowed the air to sit to long. But the feeling of the air? That was something else entirely. The air for as stale as it felt, felt as though it was crawling over Fujakus skin as he approached the area near the stables infront of the girl names Judina, acting as a front line defense against enemy forces. It was basic sense to keep your long distance fighter, which he assumed she was, out of the fight area as best as possible. But soon it seemed that wouldn’t matter.

Charging out of the stables, a large fat purplish Demon emerged, and stopped about 10 meters from the pair. Fujaku didn’t even waste time speaking to him. He simply pushed off the ground and met the Demon half way as it rushed the two of them as well. Though even with the proper skill he had, the demon pushed him back a bit. He struggled a moment before pivoting and using one of the demons fatty knees as a spring board as he pushed himself away, to give himself a little more room and hopefully knocking the demon over. Fujaku didn’t recognize the demon from any of the stories he heard as a child. What ever this creature was, he knew nothing about it and that truly worried him.

But he stood up and placed his sword onto his shoulder once more. He settled down into a very low stance, hoping to take advantage of his opponents heavy size. He didn’t even look back at his partner, hoping she had enough battle sense to know what to do. He spoke in common to the demon. “Since you are so FAT….When I cut through you, will I be able to call my sword a three man cutter?” He said before dashing forward and transitioning from a dash into a front flip over head slash, hoping to either slice the demon down the head, or to force him to back up till he fell down.

She was not too far behind after the noises that followed however Judina had other moments that she  had to take. While her current partner seemed to already confront the demon. She seemed to be sure the children would be getting out of the are safety. But she would make sure it was quick about it. but Halted the two girls for a moment.

"Either of you harmed?" She even seemed to check them for the moment, acting as she worried for them but as well for anything that might not be just this demon alone. So far it seemed to just be the one arm man, Judina and the demon. Just what exactly Judina would want.

"Very well, This area is not safe for either of you young children, Please seek safety in a different spot." Judina would normally help them, But she truly just wish to end this situation for everyone, Thus fighting a demon. But even then Judina still unsure about this moment but there was no going back now. Watching mighty mister one arm already head into an attack and stopping to speak to it.

Why she did not consider, Maybe Judina did not care for wit or remarks quite yet or at all when people needed saving. So while he would start speaking Judina would already going at this demon to attack. Sword in her right hand even if Fujaku might have been preparing to strike or do something else Judina was more interested trying to see if it was going to two people at once, It has the stature and size to most likely do something, But what else she was unsure.

But the one way he went to strike with that very basic Iron Sword in her hand, He was going up. She was going to try to cut across from right to left to strike this demons Biceps, How this would work Judina was not sure but she just would only worry with what she had in this moment.

So taking a few step back Judina would react while her companion seemed to no longer act, What happen to him Judina did not know or worry about it currently. Hopefully he was safe maybe he could not handle fighting a demon. She had the idea of what she wanted to do she just needed to do it.

With in taking a few steps back Judina then held her sword up just to even where her shoulder is with that she had something she would hope do something to just cause a reaction more then it just taking a hit.

But with that step back and how she had her sword ready Judina was just going to step forward with thrust of her sword forward into the demon's jaw. Than with her free hand closed her hand  and then punched the face of the demon right away.

Pulling her sword back from the jaw of the demon, Judina then went for slash upon the demon's head downward and then stomped the ground with her foot, It took a moment  even in the heat of battle but where as Judina knew what would happen hopefully the demon wouldn't.

With in that laps of a stomp a pillar of metal popped out of the ground diagonally."Fall, to the suffering you wished upon others, Horrid monster." it would be one of the few times Judina would sound heartless and cold to anything. The pillar for not last long so Judina then would step on it, Run up it  and jump off of it, Using the moment in air, hoping this very risk would be worth it she would not face death hopefully from this. Rising her sword finally for what this jump would result in She held her sword with both hands and with that leap she took would slash the demon. Hoping, this did not fail...hoping nothing here failed, Hoping she lived and everyone else would.

Spell Used:

The demon had caught his weapon with a near instant reaction. It barely even seemed to move its head to look toward him. It b locked Judinas attack as well, when she followed up his attack with a slash of her own, which Fujaku was happy she had, it had been the right move. But to think the demon had managed to stop both of their attacks without even seeming to budge was… not an idea Fujaku could fathem. But as his feet finally touched the ground he noticed two very important things. The first being that while the Demon had caught him blade, it had done more damage then he thought it had as the demonic blood slowly made its way down his blades edge. That told Fujaku that he could be harmed by their weapons.

The second and most important in Fujakus eyes, was that the Demon hadn’t displayed any magic yet. This suggested to Fujaku that it might not have that ability. He Pulled down with all his strength slashign through the demons hand and moving back a step, he ended up separated from Judina, the demon between the two of them. He felt the rush of magic in the air, and knew Judina must be casting some spell soon after seeing the demons head get rocked back by a blow he did not see. He rushed forward as low as he could to the ground, he rose up with a mighty slash the showered him with the blood of the demon. It was warm, But didn’t feel human. He had felt human blood before, it was a feeling he would never forget.

He saw the shadow grow on the demon and instinctually backed away. The Killing blow went to Judina it seemed. He looked toward her as another spray of blood flew into the air and… found himself with a smile on his lips. She was impressive, if nothing else.

In his last Moments, as the demon fell back dying. He hesitated raising a hand toward it. For a moment... For a moment it looked like the demon had smiled. Why would it smile? What cause would it.... he looked passed Judina and the buildings behind her. He saw the result of the other demon, though he didnt know what it was or how it had been done. He cursed loudly and ran past the demon and Judina toward the Growing Rift. "Judina! We must hurry! The demons have done something, We cannot let any escape!" he sped off to try to intercept the cause of it.

But as he ran toward the Fissure of darkness, the wave of pressure that he felt made his very body shake and stop in its tracks. What had that been?! Fujakus skin felt as though he was naked in the snow, yet sweat began to form on his brow. It was as if his own soul had been hit with a cold fire. Was this....was this a gateway to the abyss? Was this another incursion? He tried to tear his feet from the ground but his fear did not let him.

"Move...." He said to himself in his own native tongue as, once again, his fear refused to let him move. His father had told him of the incursions in short details. He had been far to young to be anywhere near the battle field and had been hidden in a bunker. But he had heard and read of the event through other means. The slaughter is what truely scared him. They had killed with seemingly no purpose, no target, Just to kill and kill.

"Damn you legs... I SAID MOVE!" He said in his language slashing just skin deep at his own thigh with the katana, no where near enough to damage himself properly, but just enough to snap him out of this fear...this...Terror that he had never felt before. The pain made him gasp for a moment, and drop to a knee as his senses kicked back in. He panted as the sweat washed down his face and back, the terror finally washing over him but he was left standing, not running from it.

He stood up and wiped the sweat from his brow and face with his kimono sleeve. and he turned looking to Judina. "We must not let that open. I think it may be a gateway. If we fail here.... The deaths will be on our heads. If i freeze up again, please, snap me out of it." he said to her and then turned running to regroup with the others at the center of town, hoping nerva would have the ability to stop this.

It was time as normal to continue on this path hearing that in fact the person she was working with was still around, there was more to do But Judina also had a feeling he might not be in the best of shape. So maybe it was best Judina did one thing for him to at least help.

"Yes I understand."But something else was bugging her while seeing him trying to walk, He was in a rush much like she was in that moment. Walking over next to him and sling his arm over her shoulder to relief his leg slightly.

Even getting slightly annoyed about him doing what he did to himself, So Judina when he did that said."Your not in the best shape, you will recover. But for now let me help save your energy and strength."Judina might be in the state of mind of combat and saving people, But respect and a sense of having some one by your side to help you in a fight, At least too Judina helped in her mind unsure about anyone else.

"You will be useless if you do anything else to yourself,I will do what I can."This showed humanity at least, Judina would even carry him to safety or to the next fight if she had too."Fate has got us to live and fight on, Let us see the light of victory together and not have one of us left behind." Judina mentioned to him just to kind of get him to settle down or see if that did anything. For now she was helping him wait until they got to what they would consider the final fight. Judina was trying to hide that she was nervous, even if it wasn't well she was trying to hide that feeling.
