He was walking the streets of Era, doing his usual morning stroll. He was not a fan of jogging or running but to keep his body fit and healthy he needed to do some sort of exercise and he chose walking as it gave his body all the exercise it needed. While he was walking, enjoying the scenery of the town, an unsuspected lady with golden locks stopped him.
"Hey," she said while extending her arms towards Sage.
Sage, being a gentleman he was, stopped in his tracks and smiled at the lady. "Yes? Is there anything I could help you with?".
The lady smiled widely at the mention of 'help'. "Ah yes perfect, I need someone to help me with something." She said.
She then explained that she was a rune knight and how a man reported that her wife had gone missing, but she believed that the wife had ran away. She wanted to find the wife and she needed someone to help her find any clues within the house. Sage gladly accepted to help her. She then told Sage to meet with a rookie detective inside the old man's house and present to him any clues he could find.
Sage head straight into the house to begin the search. He couldn't understand why he had accepted to help her but he guess it was because he had nothing to do on that day anyway. He met with the rookie detective and told how the knight outside had sent him to help with the search. The rookie detective took in the news pretty well.
They began to scour the house, looking for any clues that could give them any information on the disappearance of the old man's wife. Throughout their search Sage could find only a few items that could give a few hints to where and what happened to the old man's wife. Though Sage was not sure if the clues were enough to conclude anything.
Hours went by and the sun had already reached its zenith. The detective checked on Sage and told him that they both had searched the house enough and he thought that it was suitable for them to stop the search and keep the clues they had found, even if it was not much. He then told Sage that he must return to the headquarters. Sage smiled at the rookie detective and waved him goodbye as he left. There was nothing left for Sage to do in the house so he left the house, only after saying his farewell to the poor old man. As Sage was walking back to his place, his eyes suddenly hurt, but this time the pain was slightly more than the night before.
