It struck Cee as a strange request since one would have to be very very careless to lose their weapon. Whatever, Cee thought. Armin mentioned that he was in the garden of Crocus when he might have lost it, but he was far too busy today to look himself. Today was a beautiful day. The sky was clear and full of cotton ball clouds, and the breeze wasn't too harsh. Kids played throughout the town. They knew better than to leave the immediate area. Parts of Crocus still weren't safe for anyone. The closer to the Castel, the better. Anyway, finally, Cee had entered the garden. He saw a couple of people strolling, and an entire family. It reminded him of when he was a kid and his parents would take him on long walks. It was crazy how much time has passed in so little time. Growing up was the hardest thing Cecil ever had to do, and it wasn't even that hard.
Quickly he moved through the park looking for the sword. It was hidden somewhere, he just needed to find it. If he was a bit more adept with his magic, he probably could have found a way to locate the weapon if it was in the garden. Instead, he'd have to depend on his twenty-twenty vision. The Stellan Knight walked through the garden until finally, he saw the sword. A dog had been holding the weapon in his mouth, staring directly at Cecil as if he knew he was going to lose his new toy. The white-haired mage slowly stepped forward towards the brown retriever. "Come here big puppy... lemme see the swooooord." he sung lightly.
The dog just stared blankly as Cee moved forward. The nature mage almost had the sword when the dog decided to scurry away. Dammit, Cee thought. Frowning he began to chase after the dog. There was no way he was letting this big puppy escape. "Who's dog is this anyway?" he asked as he chased. Up ahead he could see a part of the garden had a circular area surrounded by bushes. Perhaps if he used it as a dead-end he could trap the dog and take the sword. With a plan in mind, he shifted his body to and fro as he ran so that the dog would go the direction he wanted it to go. Finally, he cornered the dog. The animal was smart enough to realize that it was cornered, and so he dropped the sword. Cecil breathed heavily as he finally picked up the sword. Now he could bring it to Armin and get his reward.
