It had been some time, with Alyssandra having taken a brief reprieve from swaying locations to Fairy Tail's side. It had been something he had required, as the constant back and forth between Dahlia and Magnolia had taken its toll on the wood elf. He had only done it once, but the journey had been difficult for him. He was used to, and loved, Magnolia and all the people who lived there. They were, for the most part, kind and good people. However Dahlia, despite being so close to the home of Fairy Tail, was the polar opposite. Its people were dejected and always expected the worst from their lives. They lived in poverty, with only a few being able to keep themselves from falling hungry every night. And, as if that wasn't bad enough, they were under constant threat of attack from the werewolves and vampires who roamed the area, feasting on anyone who dared to walk around the area or try to make a life for themselves. The illusion of naivety had been broken for the elf, he couldn't happily live in Magnolia while the people in Dahlia suffered. His entire walk back to his hometown had left him alone with his thoughts, and alone with the reality of life. Some people suffered, and there was no one around to help them.
It would be a few weeks later that Aly returned, heading to the church in Dahlia. He had heard that the people followed Illumin, hoping that belief in some, any god would keep their spirits raised and allow them to live in whatever way they could. He entered the church, and began to speak to the people there. He told them of the joy in life that they could, and should, experience. He brought them food from Magnolia, and told them of what Fairy Tail could offer them. The people of Dahlia, broken as they were, were simply thankful to have something to believe in, no matter what it was.
