Yumi's crimson red hues which shinned like a pair of jewels cast their fierce domineering gaze upon Sigmundirs pass. The pass consisted of countless routes through the mountains that made it easy for one to get lost in. The pass had claimed the lives of many unfortunate travelers who found themselves lost within the maze of paths. To this day many bodies of missing travelers had yet to be found. However, it wasn't just the maze of paths that brought an end to the unfortunate travelers, but ruthless bandits who lay in wait to ambush their prey or it was the violent monsters who made the mountains there home.

On a particular day Yumi had been so brazen as to take one of the many paths for its bandit troubles. A particular band of bandits called the mountain scorpions were known to attack travelers on the specific route. Of course this the only route claimed as part of their territory. Many quests have gone out to eliminate these bandits but they were a strong group. The group numbered close to thirty and most of them were equal to C rank mages with their top warriors were B rank, the leader was rumored to rival an A rank mage.

On a normal day Yumi would be here to collect the bounties on their heads, but not this day. The demoness had only one goal in mind, to practice her new magic. Napalm Magic a powerful fire magic recently gifted to her by her demonic god Malum. She had yet to experiment fully with this powerful and overbearing brand of fire element magic, but now fully intended to try it out. The Mountain Scorpion bandits would be the perfect test subjects.

Yumi intended to wait at this spot for them to arrive. The fire mage had a number of spells she desired to test out on the group, before heading out to hunt werewolves in the area. Yumi was confident she could kill the wolves without magic, but she wanted to be prepared for any situation.

Yumi kept herself alert as she wandered through the chosen path, waiting patiently for the bandits to strike. The demoness could already feel their eyes on her, having long since detected them. The bandits were keeping a distance and watching her carefully, waiting patiently to strike. They seemed wary of the lolita, especially of the giant axe on her back which didn't appear to deter her movements at all. From what yumi could pick up, one bandit had gone on ahead. Not long after Yumi sensed his return, with assistance. He must have gone to retrieve reinforcements. What smart little bandits, but it wouldn't help them one bit. Yumi decided to play along acting as if she hadn't noticed them.

The demoness walked until she reached a natural chokepoint, there was no cover or way to escape only forward or the way she came. Yumi could sense the bandits had gathered in this location and had eagerly awaited her arrival. The moment she showed up dozens of figures descended from the cliffs above and landed, forming a circle to block her in. Crimson hues shimmered as they looked over the thirty-odd bandits that had formed an enclosure. They were wearing uniform outfits, brown cargo pants, shirts, cloaks and wielded an assortment of weapons. Releasing her magical senses Yumi scanned them to see what their level of strength was. In front of her, a tall burly man with a greatsword was the strongest, he had the strength of an A-rank Mage equivalent. Whereas to Yumi's left, right and back she sensed two individuals on each side, six total whose strength was roughly B rank mage. All the rest only had the strength of a c rank mage.

"Alright, little girl don't resist. Be good and hand over all your belongings. If you're good this big brother will treat you nicely tonight!" The leader spoke in a slimy tone as his lustful eyes looked hungrily over Yumi's body. He couldn't help but linger on her long slender white legs. The other bandits laughed, but they too eyed her like a piece of meat.

"While that is certainly an enticing offer I have a counter-argument." Yumi slowly raised a slender right hand pointing it towards the bandit leader. The lolita received mocking laughs at her actions. "Be good little piggies and die. Intense Flame: Burn!" A bright red magical circle appeared in Yumi's hand as a matching one appeared above the bandit leader. The seal expanded covering a 4m area as liquid fire poured down.

The flames the moment they made contact with the air exploded violently transforming into a storm of crimson flames. Screaming sounded as the crimson flames consumed the leader and two bandits beside him. The attack wouldn't kill them but it would be incredibly unpleasant.

Yumi smiled maliciously watching as the flames engulfed the three men burning them alive, slowly. The spell was only low level so it wouldn't hurt them too much, but she could keep it activated for as long as she had mana.  The three dropped to the ground attempting to roll in the earth to snuff out the flames but they only continued to burn. Their agonising screams filled her with glee, it was like a grand orchestra playing their heavenly symphony to her ears.

The sudden violent act threw the bandits off guard, they hadn't been expecting for this little lolita to suddenly attack them. She was decisive and vicious igniting their leader and two of their comrades on fire without a sign of hesitation or shred of remorse. "You bitch!" The leader screamed out in pain as he struggled to his feet the flames continue to burn. Yumi snorted at the bandit's antics and chose not to answer him. The flames surrounding him and his men suddenly moved to spread across from those three to another three targets. The bandits screamed as the flames engulfed them, burning away at their flesh.

Raising a hand, Yumi waved it again at the bandit leader before anyone had a chance to gather their bearings. A magical circle appeared beneath the man and his two men from earlier. Heat poured out from the magical seal as crimson flames erupted turning into a wild vortex. The vortex of fire engulfed the three individuals setting them on fire. Now six of the bandits had caught light and were struggling in the crimson flames. Yumi simply laughed maniacally as the flames engulfed her foes.

By now the remaining bandits and calmed themselves and roared with fury. Those who had yet to be affected by the burning flames charged towards her, intending to attack Yumi with their numbers. Rolling her eyes yumi turned to face two incoming bandits on her left. A large magical circle appeared beneath her as a matching crimson circle forme beneath the two covering a two-metre area. "Ignite: Bone Scorcher!" Yumi commanded loudly. Magical energy fluctuated as the temperature rose rapidly. Crimson flames flickered beneath the feet of the bandits before it erupted out from the ground into a two-metre tall and wide pillar of flames. The ground was broken and torn apart as the two were engulfed in the searing hot flames.

The flames weren't overly strong but were enough to deter them. Turning on her heels, Yumi spun around the right as three more advanced including a B rank warrior. Sneering in disgust at them Yumi raised a hand "Ignite: Flame Burst!" A magical circle appeared at the end of the hand and was a bright crimson red. Liquid fire poured out of the circle in her hand and the moment it made contact with the air detonated. With a ferocious roar crimson flames came to life and slammed into the incoming bandits engulfing them in its blaze. They screamed in pain like their brothers and dropped to the ground in an attempt to put the crimson flames out.

Napalm Magic was truly beautiful magic, from its crimson flames to its sheer size being able to cover wide areas without mercy. With four sets of flames summoned, Yumi manipulated them all causing the four burning sets of flames to move. The fires circled her mixing in together as if they were one. The flames moved to block the bandits and set them on fire. The smell of burning flesh filled the air as Yumi showed not a shred of mercy from where she stood. The strategy was to use the flames to slow them down and gradually weaken the bandits.

"Funeral Flame: Burning Ash!" Yumi called out again as the bandits got closer to her. A larger red circle formed beneath the demoness's feet as she cast an even stronger Napalm spell. A great heat came to life as the ground exploded violently. AN ocean of crimson flames came flaring to life. The crimson flames spread out rapidly in every direction, moving away from Yumi as they collided with all the bandits. The flames washed over the bandits, joined by the other four fires Yumi summoned. The mass of wiggling flames seared at their bodies as smoke wafted into the air.

Yumi laughed like a crazed maniac. A fearsome aura broke forth from her tiny body and washed over the incoming wave of bandits who couldn't get past her wall of flames. The aura struck delivering fear to the core of their bodies as they all froze from the sudden attack. A pair of demonic bat wings each two metres long sprouted out from her back and stretched out into the air. A set of demonic horns sprouted from the sides of her head as a spear-tipped tail grew from her tailbone. Yumi took to her true appearance, not bothering to hide her demonic appearance. Yumi's change shocked the bandits to the core as they realised they had truly bitten off more than they could chew. They had stepped on the lions tail. They weren't facing an ordinary mage, they were taking on a daemon a creature of the abyss and an incredibly powerful one at that.

The bandits scrambled as those who had managed to fire the raging fires of Yumi's napalm magic attempted to escape, but she had none of it. Raising a hand towards the first group attempting to flee, two bandits one of them was a B rank commander for the group. A ball of liquid fire appeared in Yumi's hands that transformed into a volatile ball of crimson flames the moment it was summoned. Gripping the fireball Yumi threw it launching it towards the group. The fireball detonated covering a two-metre wide area as it slammed into the two attempting to flee. To add to the devastation the spells Bone scorcher and flame burst gave chase dashing after the two quickly. The two had already been caught up with the fireball and were unprepared as the two other D rank Napalm spells crashed into them. The bandits screamed and rolled on the ground as the flames burned away at their flesh.

Yumi controlled the FUneral flame: Burning Ash spell launching the B rank fire spell after the two who had attempted to escape. The strong spell flew towards them at twenty meters per second. They were unable to escape the spell as its crimson flames mercilessly washed over them. The three d rank spells Yumi parted away , giving room to the stronger spell. Those three weaker spells were moved focused onto another group trying to escape and quickly swallowed them up. The first escapees wailed and rolled in pain. The heavy smell of burning human flesh filled the air as black smoke wafted off their bodies. Clothes melted into flesh, bone was revealed beneath blackened skin as the skin fell from their bodies. Being burned alive, a horrible way to die it was slow and painful when used in Yumi's hands. She was taking the time to torture them, slowly rolling them around in the crimson flames of her Napalm magic.

Horrifying blood-curdling screams filled this path and the thick black smoke wafted into the air for all to see. Other travellers avoided the path believing someone must be experiencing a gruesome death at the hands of some monster. Yumi flapped her wings and flew straight up to watch her work in action as the flames were manipulated by her to give chase to her foes. To add insult to injury, Yumi raised a palm pointing it another fleeing group. A magical circle formed as Yumi cast the spell, "Ignite: Flame Burst!" A searing heat poured out from the circle in her hand as the liquid fire came rushing out. The wave of liquid fire transformed into a violent flurry of red flames that descended down on an angle. The flames engulfed the two bandits searing away at their flesh like the others. All four of Yumi's D rank spells had been cast, along with two C rank and a B rank. The demoness could feel the drain on her reserves as she sustained the many activate fire spells, but she didn't care.

Napalm Magic was a magic that was heavy on the magical reserves due to its sustain costs but it was worth it. AOE were usually only instant spells, but with the ability to move her aoe spells she could sustain them for full effect allowing her to ravage large areas at once like a wildfire. The wild lolita laughed again, a fire appearing in her eyes as the temperature in the pass grew exponentially.

Yumi looked over the carnage and couldn't help the vile vicious smile that spread across her lips. The smile was disgusting, one that didn't belong on such an innocent face, it was truly horrifying and out of place. A powerful killer intent and blood lust circulated around the demoness as a magical circle appeared beneath her. Magical energy coursed through her tiny body as the temperature began to rise. The terrain had been scorched black from the numerous flames that raged beneath her hovering form. Of the bandits, those whose strength was equal to a C rank mage had already been wiped out only leaving six b rank bandits and their leader an A rank bandit.


Now it was time to test out the next level of spell, an A rank napalm magic spell. Yumi had only two high ranked spells in her planned arsenal one A rank and one S rank spell. The S rank spell had appeared in her conscious when she had been gifted this deadly magic, Incinerating Storm, a powerful AOE S rank spell that would burn everything around Yumi. The other spells Yumi had to invented herself, but that spell had come with the magic and was ingrained into her psyche.

Yumi had given all her spells a type of theme. D rank spells were classed as Ignite, C ranks as Intense FLame, B ranks as Funeral Flame and A ranks would be burning Heavens. There wasn't any particular meaning to the naming sense, Yumi just found it fun. With her hand raised, Yumi gave the command to unleash the next series of intense flames, "Burning Heavens: Scorched Earth!"

A magical circle appeared beneath the feet of the leader marking his doom. The other seven flames that had been cast moved quickly to engulf the leader. This would ensure his death once the eighth spell was unleashed. Fire roared to life as crimson flames detonated consuming the leader with their full might.

Burning Heaven's Scorched Earth it was a spell that lived up to its name. The crimson flames burned the air above, the heavens while scorching the earth beneath turning the ground pitch black. The flames consumed a large sixteen-meter area engulfing all the remaining bandits in its crimson flames within the narrow passage. They could only scream as these flames washed over them and ate away at their flesh. Those who tried to escape who quickly hunted down by the other seven spells Yumi had cast and was sustaining. The flames closed in on Yumi but never touched her as she manipulated them to stay a meter away from her body. Yumi was not yet immune to her own Magic and should the flames get to close she would be burned as well. But in time she would alter her body to bathe in the flames of her magic to slowly grow immune to them.

Retracting the flames they were slowly snuffed out one by one. As the flames began to dissipate only the smouldering corpses of the bandits were left. Of the bandits, only their leader was still alive. He was moaning in pain, his entire body had been charred black from the raging fires. His left leg below the knee had been completely burned away and turned to ash. His right arm was completely gone only the shoulder remained. The left side of his face was melted away exposing the muscle and bone beneath. The flames had eaten away at the man and even snuck inside his body burning away at his inner organs turning them to charcoal. It was amazing he was still even alive.

Yumi began to approach him, as she walked the flames she had called forth began to disappear, all but one. The last flame and the largest circled around Yumi keeping to her as if it was a child. The flames flickered and burned at the air but the heat didn't seem to bother the demoness. The demoness crouched down in front of the dying man whose eyes had lost all hope and was screaming for the sweet release of death. They looked to the crimson flames behind Yumi as if begging her to unleash them on him and finish him off, to send him to hell and release the pain he was feeling.

"Such a poor little man. How funny things can turn. You thought you were the big bad wolf stalking the innocent weak little lamb. But you were mistaken as it was the Tiger stalking you from the shadows of a weak lamb." Yumi smiled sweetly but the kind of smile she showed was devilish and twisted it only horrified the man as he looked upon it. "You and your brothers are my sacrifices to my great lord for this new gift he has given me. Malum will not have mercy on your souls. You will be tormented until the end of time as your skull is added to his throne and your blood fills his river." Yumi said her prayer before manipulating the crimson flames behind her.

The ocean of flames parted around the demoness and dived down onto the bandit leader. The flames engulfed the man and his screams began once more. The crimson fire devoured the man, flowing into his open wounds and entering his body to eat away at him from the inside. Within seconds nothing was left but a pile of ash. With a swipe of her hand the crimson flames raged out like a tidal wave, sweeping over the other charred corpses. The smell of burning human flesh filled the air once more as large amounts of black smoke blotted out the sky. Soon all the corpses had been reduced to nothing but piles of ash that were blown away when the wind blew.

Crimson flames washed over the area bathing it in an ocean of death. Yumi started walking forward along the path continuing her hunt. Magic poured into the wave of crimson fire as it followed behind Yumi. Any time she saw movement the flames would wash forward engulfing everything leaving nothing but a trail of destruction. Wings expanded and Yumi took flight, heading through the path at maximum speed intending to find more test subjects for her magical spell. The demoness flew through the pass and soon arrived as a large opening where she could see caravans beginning to gather. These were merchant caravans and they were usually under the protection of mercenaries. A vicious smile formed on Yumi's lips and she propelled herself towards the group with the intention to bring death.

A great heat washed over the area alerting the caravan and the guards. They all looked towards the source to find a lolita flying towards them, a demon, an unholy creature of mayhem. The tiny demoness flew towards the alerted crowd and drew her giant battle-axe. Coming behind her was the giant mass of flames that was incinerating everything in its path. The demoness crashed into the group, slamming into a guard with her tiny body. The force of the impact caused the man's body to cave in as blood exploded everywhere from the force. Yumi flew through the middle of the caravan and was quickly followed by the raging flames. The crimson flames washed over a horse and carriage. The horse's cry echoed through the mountains as it was incinerated. The items inside the carriage were burned down.

The flames moved to the next carriage, consuming merchant and mercenary alike in its merciless fire. Yumi laughed as she changed course and flew towards the other end of the mountain pass. The axe transformed into a shadow of death as it cut through a merchant spraying blood everywhere. Yumi showed no remorse for her actions as she began to painstakingly kill everyone within that pass. Those who attempted to flee were cut off by the raging ocean of crimson fire from her magic and were burned alive. The demoness was a rampaging beast unleashing an ocean of carnage as she lived up to her name. The demoness had become even more bloodthirsty. Smoke wafted into the air around her as corpses were strewn about everywhere. Nothing had been left untouched by Yumi's flames. Charred corpses filled the open passageway accompanied by burnt-out carriages.
