Kerii had arrived in Dahlia earlier than expected. It was about midday, and she had lots of time to kill before midnight. Seeing as she would have to have enough energy to outrun any monsters and say awake until six o'clock in the morning, coffee would likely be a good idea. She grabbed a book on the supernatural and left the inn she was staying at. Even in daytime, Dahlia still looked rather creepy. She didn't quite feel unsafe though. She entered a café that, aside from Kerii and the baristas, had very few people in it. She ordered a latte with a double shot of espresso and sat down. The elf began to read up on information about all sorts of supernatural creatures, but nothing about it seemed to be factual. It all seemed to be based on rumors and superstitions that everyone knew since they were a young child. Vampires were allergic to garlic and had to be killed with a wooden stake through their hearts. Silver weapons were apparently the only things that could kill werewolves. She closed the book and shook her head. Despite how real these races were, the book she had only seemed to be filled with assumptions. Seeing her frustration, the barista who made her drink asked what she was doing. "Oh, just trying to find out things about the supernatural." The barista put her hands on her hips and replied, "A book like that won't help you. The Dahlia natives would be of more help, but trust me. You'll be fine here if you're just passing through." Since Kerii's situation was a little different than what the barista assumed, her words weren't reassuring. "What about the creatures in Aldenwald?" the elf asked. To the barista, Kerii probably seemed like an anxious traveler who didn't know much about Dahlia at all, not someone who actually dared to enter the forest. "You don't have to worry about the creatures there. They stay in their own territory, but just steer clear of there. They're incredibly fast and deadly hunters... much faster than most humans." Kerii looked into her latte and frowned. She was faster than the average human, sure, but she didn't think she'd be able to outrun any creature that lurked in the darkness. "Well, thanks for the tip," Kerii said, standing up. She left the café and returned to her room to finish off her latte and put the useless book away.

When darkness fell, the streets were abandoned. A few hours passed, and Kerii left the building to travel to Aldenwald. The elf approached the edge of the forest. She fidgeted with the magic bracelet on her wrist that would tell Guildmaster Shahrbaraz their location as she looked for Eryll. His was in her pocket, which she would give to him once he arrived. This whole week had been filled with her guildmaster's training activities, and she was relieved to get them over with. This final one was perhaps the most dangerous of them all though. Instead of merely using basic survival skills though for an entire day, they would be running for their lives for six hours straight. In the midst of night, no less. How fun...

Eryll
Dahlia was unbelievably foggy. All of the fog made Eryll feel like he was going blind, it also made seeing buildings impossible. Eryll was going to Aldenwald to meet Kerii, she had the bracelets. Eryll had made sure to give the apple to Shahbaraz on his way to Aldenwald. Eryll trudged through the muddy ground, how did people live in this? Eryll understood while good mages avoided this place, Eryll would not return to Dahlia just because he disliked the weather. Eryll wondered how Kerii was feeling about this last test. Eryll felt confident, but being confident did not take away the fact that Eryll could possibly die during this test, which was not something he wanted to do.

Eryll wandered to streets of Dahlia as he made his way slowly to where Kerii would be waiting, by the edge of the woods, ready to walk into the woods and hide from any creatures that waited for them in the darkness. Eryll got chills from the idea of monsters watching him from the darkness, to be honest, he disliked not being able to see his hunters, but a good hunter was never seen or heard. That's what makes hunters, hunters. Eryll turned off one of the main roads of Dahlia and made his way into the dirty marsh. There was a small bar not to far away from the woods, Eryll would have stopped for a snack or something to drink, but he had gotten a drink before he arrived in Dahlia, and he didn't want to stop to go to the bathroom as he fled the fangs of Werewolves and Vampires. Slowly the ground got less soppier, but there was still was a considerable amount of wet goop sliding around his shoes. Luckily, Aldenwald was supposed to be one of the only solid ground places in all of Dahlia.

As Eryll approached the woods he could see Kerii's blonde hair in the darkness. He wasn't far away, he would run up to her and wave hello. "Are you ready to get started on this? You have my bracelet right?" Eryll asked. "Oh! and I returned the apple to the guildmaster so we don't have to worry about that. I wonder what is so special about it." He questioned. When Kerii would give it to him he slipped it onto his wrist and prepare to go into the woods for their dangerous trip.

As the elf waited for Eryll, she gazed into the forest. It hadn't looked that intimidating in the day time, but now that darkness had fallen, the entire forest looked eerily monochromatic. Even at the very edge, she was unsettled by its mere presence. Once they went deeper into the forest, there was no telling how creepier it would get, and which kinds of creatures they would stumble across. Honestly, Kerii was more afraid of the unknown, rather than what sorts of creatures were actually in the forest. Since not many people ever went in, there was little information she was able to gather. All she had to go off of was that it was filled with the supernatural and certain creatures were unbelievably quick on their feet. If she knew precisely what they were dealing with, their hunting habits, and their abilities, she would feel much better about this challenge. She wouldn't be as nervous about it, and would be a lot more confident each decision she made. Despite how much she seemed to worry about this and another situations that had foreign elements to it, she always seemed to be good thinking on her feet. She was undeniably impulsive, and everything just seemed worked out for her with that way of acting. As one would imagine, the elf honestly didn't have much to be anxious about, but she was nonetheless.

Not much time had passed while Kerii was waiting before Eryll decided to show up. He asked if she was ready and wanted to know if she had is bracelets. "Yeah," she answered, which applied to both of his questions. "Here you go." She dug into her pocket and produced a simple bracelet for the support mage to wear. It didn't looked rather simple, not appearing magical in and of itself, but it would let Guildmaster Shahrbaraz know their locations. Speaking of whom, Eryll returned the golden apple already. He wondered what was so special about it, which just made Kerii shrug. "It's rare, but that's all I know about it. Let's go." She was ready to get this whole series of challenges over with. She took her first step into the forest and motioned for Eryll to follow suit. The sooner they went into the forest, the sooner they would be out, and the sooner this all would be over.

They were not too deep into the forest, so at the moment, there was nothing trying to hunt them down. As they progressed further into the forest and out of the sight of residents, she was sure that would soon change. Unless people had a death wish, she suspected that not many came into the forest, which would probably make the creatures eager to hunt her and Eryll down. Thinking of that just made the elf shudder and shake her head. She didn't know what sorts of supernatural lived in Aldenwald, but they would not be making a meal out of her or Eryll. They would survive for the entire six hours. She was sure of it.

Eryll
Kerii handed Eryll the special bracelets that were supposed to track their movement through the woods of Aldenwald. Kerii seemed a little on edge, but Eryll couldn't blame her, so was he. Even though he was sure of his own abilities, their were creatures in their that were natural predators. Wood Elves were beings of nature, not predatory beings. This made Eryll fret a little, if any werewolves or Vampires knew that lamia scale wizards were passing through as a test, they would likely be out and about to try and score a meal. Eryll hoped that they were one of the earlier groups to be completing the tests. He and Kerii had started right away. They had made their way into the woods, there had not been much of a problem there. The two wood elves had camped out and eaten nuts, berries and pine needles before returning back home. A few days after that they ventured to Sieghart mountains where the two wood elves spent their time climbing up a mountain in the range to retrieve a crystal that their guild master had planted for them. That one had been an interesting trip because he and Kerii spent a majority of the trip talking about a group of interesting runes that he had found after being kidnapped by a group of Shape shifting demon snakes. After sieghart had been Eryll's favorite part of the test, the swim. He and Kerii had to swim across a dangerous channel in Hargeon to a small island where they would be able to find a very rare apple. The island had been a queer place, with waxy, white leaved treees, and quarts sticking out of the ground. The only tree that did not have the white leaves was the singular apple tree that Eryll had managed to find near the top of the island. After that, they had both set off to here, Aldenwald, home of the monsters, and the last lamia scale test.

Eryll made his way into the woods quietly, it was best not to attract any attention at first, the less beings that knew they were here, the better their chances of survival. Eryll assumed that as soon as one creature knew they were here, most of the other night creatures would know of their arrival in Aldenwald. All of the leaves had fallen from the trees, luckily though, the sheer amount of moisture in the air made the leaves soggy and wet, so there was little crunch in their step. Mist slipped through the trees and Eryll was keeping a keen eye out for any glowing eyes. Eryll knew that as soon as a Werewolf could smell the elves, they would have to make their way to safety, which was anywhere far from where they would be in that moment. The only rules to the test was to survive, no magic, no weapons, and do not leave Aldenwald until sunrise. Eryll clenched his hands in thought, and thinking of other things while trying not to get killed is not the best plan.

Eryll did not come back from space until he heard a twig snap. Eryll swung his head around an saw two pairs of glowing eyes hiding in the mist a few meters away. Eryll cursed in Stellan, "Kerii, we have company." Eryll whispered. He knew the lycans had seen and smelled them. The two elves would have to make a break for it, maybe of a fissure somewhere where they could get away long enough to strand the assailants on the other side of the cavern and allow the elves to be safe for awhile. Eryll turned to kerii, they needed to run.

As Kerii walked through the woods, she tried her best not to make a sound, though she highly doubted that would have made much of a difference. No matter the species, hunters were known for their very keen senses. While this did include hearing, it also included scent. Neither Kerii nor Eryll were able to use any items, so they couldn't conceal their scent with some sort of potion. At the time, she did not know of a spell that could mask their scent, so even if she wanted to, that was out of the question. She didn't know what element of magic Eryll knew, but he did mention being able to cast support spells. Perhaps he could make himself scentless as well, but regardless if he could or not, he was not allowed to use those sorts of spells either. In relation to that sort of spell though, Kerii was sure that there was a way she could do such a thing with her magic. Plants had all sorts of varying properties to them. All she had to do was grow the right kind, and the results would be rather surprising. Some people tend to forget the limits of nature, which would just negatively impact them in the long run, especially if they find themselves encountering a nature mage such as herself. Though Kerii was not the most formidable opponent at the time, considering she was a healer with absolutely no damaging spells, she was confident that there were nature mages out there who knew how to use their magic to their advantage in combat.

Just as she had expected, Kerii and Eryll had been spotted by some sort of creature. Eryll said that they "had company." When she turned, she saw two sets of yellow glowing eyes piercing through the darkness. While the two elves were quiet, they were not scentless. In fact, the smell they gave off probably made predators even more curious. As uncommon as human presence was in the forest, elves probably even more rarely went in there.

Depending on the creature that was lurking within the shadows, it was best to either play dead or run. It was dark, so Kerii had no way of telling what kind of animal it was most likely to be. Based on the rumors she heard though, their best option was to run as fast as they could. Before the predator could make its first move, Kerii sharply whispered "Let's go," before breaking off into a sprint in the opposite direction of the creature. She hadn't expected to run into a creature so soon. The two of them were barely into their first hour, and they were already being chased by what she could now tell were lycans. She wasn't sure about lycans, but wolves tended to hunt in packs. If this was the same for the lycans, there were likely more than just those two. And if Kerii's memory served her correctly, there were certain animals that liked to corral others into one spot so all the members of the pack would eventually have them surrounded. She wasn't sure if this was true for wolves, but lycans were more intelligent than basic wolves. If this was their hunting strategy, she and Eryll were in danger if they continued to run like this. "We need to get to higher ground," she said. Not having time to explain her theory, she just tilted her head up towards the trees as a vague gesture of what she felt they needed to do.

Eryll
After Kerii saw the glowing eyes as well, she burst into action, whispering and then breaking into a run. Eryll broke into a run after her, catching up easily. They could not run forever so they would have to figure out how to lose these lycans or a way to kill them. Eryll was not one to kill, but nature was survival of the fittest and right now he was not on the position of the fittest. Wood elves running through the forest felt truly natural. They were thriving in their natural habitat. As long as they were smart and worked with what nature provided them with, the two elves would be able to easily survive. Kerii stated they needed to get away from here, to higher ground. Eryll agreed, lycans were humans in the bodies of wolves, and they would be smart about hunting. When Kerii nodded towards the trees Eryll understood what she was trying to get at. Eryll veered off towards a tree, running at the same speed Eryll propelled himself up the trunk of a tall tree towards a place where he could grab the lowest branch and pull himself into the safety of its branches. Lycans were not natural climbers so the elves would be safe up here in the nest of branches. Eryll would wait for Kerii high up in the tree. Eryll peered down from the branches and watched a few lycans come to a halt underneath the tree. The wolven creatures sniffed the air, pointing their noses up into the air. They likely knew that the two elves had escaped into the tree, but they wouldn't wait them out, they would try to find other food. Eryll watched them lurk back into the fog. When Eryll looked closer he could see them meeting up with more of their kind. The two elves would have run straight into a trap if they had not climbed the tree. Eryll turned to Kerii, "good thinking, we were about to be dinner." Eryll said.

They would be safe in the tree for awhile. The tree that they had climbed was old and big, reaching up and into the highest parts of the forest canopy. The branches were large and thick, Eryll could easily walk around in the tree without having to worry about a branch breaking underneath him. Eryll was not well versed in what lurked in Aldenwald, but he knew that Lycans were not the only creatures, they would have to watch out for more creatures. Eryll guessed that there would likely be animals that were able to climb large trees and reach the wood elves.

Eryll wondered how some of the other testers would fair. Aldenwald was a place where you had to be fast, both physically and mentally, otherwise you would end up dead. Eryll and Kerii were living proof, had they not seen the lycans, or made it up the tree quickly, both of them would possibly be dead at this moment, but they had been quick and reached a place of safety. Eryll turned to Kerii, "Do you see anything?" He asked. A curious part of Eryll wandered if their were tree climbing lycans that would soon find their way up the tree. Eryll wandered if their were any forest spirits here in the woods, if there were, Eryll wandered if they were as kind as the ones in Arthalan. He knew that all forest spirits would be different and Aldenwald was a dangerous place, so the forest spirits would likely be dangerous as well.

Kerii was relieved when Eryll immediately got her message. Not only did he understand, but he reacted quickly too. He had good survival skills. The two ran up and quickly climbed into a tree. They were on two separate ones, but they were right next to one another. Sitting on the edge of the thick branch, she scooted herself a little closer to Eryll, so she would be able to talk with him in a quieter voice. Just because the lycans didn't need excellent hearing to pin down the location of their prey didn't mean other predators did not. In fact, come to think of it, some animals were better adapted to use their hearing rather than something else like smelling.

After realizing that they were not going to be able to climb up the tree to devour the two elves, the pair of lycans walked off. Just barely through the mist, Kerii could see that they were meeting up with the rest of their pack, or at least a few other members of it. She didn't know how many tended to hunt together, but regardless, Kerii's theory was correct. If they just ran in a straight line, those others would have them completely surrounded. It seemed that Eryll had seen the other lycans as well and complemented Kerii on her quick thinking. "Thanks," she mumbled, not wanting to make too much noise.

A few moments went by and the lycans were still out of sight, but that didn't mean they were completely gone. The fog was thick in Aldenwald, and they likely used it to their advantage. There was always the possibility that they were staying just out of sight by lingering in it, waiting for the two elves to drop from the tree, but then again they could have moved on to hunt down another meal. Eryll asked if Kerii saw anything and she shook her head. "But that doesn't mean they're not there. I say we wait for a while and then go," she whispered. By "a while," she meant oh, an hour, give or take. Unless something disturbed them in the trees, if Eryll asked Kerii if it was safe yet, she would say no until that hour was up.

While waiting, Kerii really hoped that nothing was in the trees. Though there was an abundance of nocturnal creatures, not a lot of nighttime hunters tended to live in trees or be adept at climbing them either. It came to Kerii's attention that there were vampires as well, but she didn't quite think of them as savage of hunters as wolves were. She also didn't know if they would necessarily come into the woods to feed. She had always thought that they needed to feed on human blood, simply because that was all she heard of them doing, which made her wonder if animal blood was a viable option or not. If they could only indeed feast on human blood, Aldenwald probably wasn't the best of hunting grounds... but rumors stated otherwise.

Lamias in the Darkness [Quest: Kerii & Eryll] Empty Sat Jan 05, 2019 8:47 pm

Eryll
Kerii was in the tree next to him, but the branches were large and stretched wide, so they were able to be close enough to speak.

The Lycans remained quiet for some time, he had heard a few other noises as the night went on, the occasional howl, Eryll hoped they hadn't caught a member of his guild. Kerii remained on edge throughout the night, they likely would not have to worry about much up here, but there were always spiders and vampires. Eryll had heard rumors of weird monsters living in Aldenwald, so he was not going to rule out giant spiders, after all, Eryll had dealt with evil snakes before.

Eryll and Kerii were able to remain in the trees for quite awhile. There were no tree dwelling night creatures that wished to eat them, at least yet. The moon was up high and a stars could be seen. Eryll wondered if Shahbaraz thought he and Kerii were dead, they hadn't moved in awhile and Eryll didn't know if the bracelets gave out elevation as well. Eryll shifted on his tree branch to take another look around. At the moment he saw nothing on the forest floor in the trees around them. Both he and kerii would remain alert though, letting one's guard down could result in a fast and unexpected death out here. Eryll had head of people coming into Aldenwald and their bodies being found torn to pieces days later, Eryll did not wish to be one of those bodies. Eryll peered back at the forest floor once more, he could see a few nocturnal animals like raccoons moving across the forest floor carefully. They were the only non-magical animals here that really stood a chance. Raccoons were able to climb and avoid the Lycans, but they were also intelligent so they would be able to avoid other predators as well. Eryll hadn't thought about it earlier, but when they had entered Aldenwald he hadn't noticed any smaller, ground dwelling fauna. He assumed that this was because of the Lycans. Any ground dwelling animals would be easy prey for advanced hunters like the lycans.

Eryll looked back to Kerii for a moment, everything remained fine until he saw a dark figure on a branch near her. It was human, but the pale skin and blood eyes made him realize otherwise. Eryll didn't have time, the vampire was close, he would have to move first. Kerii was within tugging distance. Reaching over Eryll grabbed the wrist of his friend. He tugged, hopefully she would have noticed what was behind her and abandoned her tree over to his so they could flee. There were many trees close to here so they would be easily able to escape to some of the other trees when they would begin to move again.

Eryll had no idea how many more vampires were around, there could have only been this one, or there could be more, Eryll did not know how Vampires hunted. If it was one, the two elves could possibly kill it, but in the dark, when vampires were silent, it would be incredibly hard.

Sitting there waiting for an hour was painstakingly boring. Due to the dense fog, there was not much within Kerii's vicinity for her to look at. The trees were rather unremarkable. They were quite ordinarily boring, unlike the ones from that island she had to swim to in Hargeon. The leaves strewn across the forest floor were dull as well. There also were not many animals that would grasp Kerii's attention and urge her curiosity to take her mind to endless places. She could see a bat fly here and there, but they were not unlike the same ones that lived in Orchidia. She was sure that if she could see one up close there would be a difference between the two, but from afar, it looked just the same.

Eventually, Kerii was able to see a raccoon carefully making its way along the ground. She looked at it and thought for a few moments. Its coloring made it really easy to blend into the scenery at night, which would protect it from a predator's sight. What was more, was that raccoons seemed to possess an ability few others did. They were known to be excellent climbers. That, teamed with their small size and quick sprinting speeds, allowed them to escape predators relatively easily. Though she was certain that they would eventually be caught, all that mattered was that they made it to the right age to reproduce and raise their offspring. Once that was done and they passed their genes onto their child, the cycle of life would continue and the food chain would not be disrupted. The food chain was actually an interesting topic, especially in relations to Aldenwald's ecosystem specifically. It was filled with magical creatures that certainly had a number of advantages over the mundane animals, and yet the non-magical were able to thrive. Kerii had to wonder if it was because the mundane animals outnumbered the magical and the magical only needed a certain amount of food, or if it was for another reason, such as the supernatural being of higher intelligence so that they knew they couldn't screw up the food chain. Kerii supposed that the former was more likely to be true, but if the later was the actual explanation, that would be fascinating as well.

An hour had passed and Kerii was about to tell Eryll that it was probably safe to get down from the tree, but before she could, she felt Eryll grab her wrist and give it a light tug. Since he was silent, he was likely warning her of something. She craned her neck just far enough to see a looming figure behind her. The elf stifled a gasp and dropped to the ground and began to run. Vampires. It just had to be vampires. It was rumored that stabbing them in the heart with a wooden stake was supposed to kill them, but she didn't know how true that was. Wouldn't stabbing anything in the heart with a wooden stake result in death as well?

Lamias in the Darkness [Quest: Kerii & Eryll] Empty Sat Jan 05, 2019 9:45 pm

Eryll
When Eryll warned Kerii of the impending danger she dropped and broke into a run. Eryll Jumped over a few branches and came down next to Kerii, he held a long healthy stick in his hands that he had grabbed as he had come down. Eryll looked back to see if the vampire had followed them, and to his dismay, the vampire, who Eryll could now identify as a man, was hot on their tail. Eryll looked around to see if there were any other vampires around him. Luckily, there were none. Eryll assumed that this meant vampires hunted alone and that he and Kerii would only have to deal with this one. The pair could not run forever, they would attract the attention of the lycans again and then they would have to midnight creatures to deal with. On the upside of this situation, Shahbaraz knew they weren't dead now. Eryll looked for ways to kill this vampire. He had the stake in his hand, but the vampire likely knew that with its perfect night vision, which meant that he would be avoiding Eryll if Eryll tried to fight. Eryll sighed, he turned to Kerii, "I'm going to be bait, you take out this vampire." Eryll said, before slipping Kerii the wooden stake. Eryll knew that Kerii was smart enough to figure out what they needed to do, he just hoped that she was fast enough to stab the blood sucking butt hole. Eryll whispered again, "Here we go." Eryll was glad that the Vampire was not able to understand Val'Elvarin. Eryll "tripped" and let himself roll across the ground, spreading his arms wide to show the vampire that he had dropped the stick.

The vampire would hopefully make his way towards Eryll and Kerii would hopefully turn around to wreak havoc on the vampire that had hunted them from their safe space in the trees. This would likely be the last thing they would have to deal with for the night because Eryll could see the moon getting close to its setting point, then the sun would rise and most of the nocturnal creatures would have retreated to their human homes to live their normal lives before returning to back to Aldenwald the next night to hunt again. Eryll assumed that the Lycans and other night creatures would learn that wizards were spending the night in Aldenwald. The locals would likely assume it might be some interesting fad that was getting people killed.

Eryll gripped a stick underneath the leaves in case Kerii didn't make it in time to save Eryll, he had plenty of trust in her, they had been through a lot together recently. Swimming through rapids, hiking a mountain, and finding food to eat in a forest that was entering a winter.

If kerii had managed to save him, which she probably will have, Eryll would sit up and brush himself up, suggesting that they make their way back to the edge of the woods because morning would be arriving soon and they would want to leave as soon as possible.

Atani

While Kerii was running, she didn't have much option but to make noise. As she did, she silently prayed to the Linea that no other predator would approach them. The elf spared a glance to see Eryll carrying a good sized stick. Her eyes widened and he began to converse with her in Val'Elvharin so that the vampire couldn't understand what they were saying. He wanted to be bait while she "took out" the vampire. There was no time to argue. Eryll gave her the sharp stick without the vampire noticing and proceeded with his plan. She really didn't like where this was going. She assumed that Eryll wanted her to kill the vampire, but morally she couldn't do that. The vampire was just surviving, after all. Even though it was technically trying to kill them, she doubted that it was just for the fun of it. Besides, what if this vampire had a family, or at the very least close friends who would miss him dearly? What if he had gone so long without blood because he felt bad for harming humans that he finally cracked? No. She wouldn't kill the vampire. She would knock him out instead.

Eryll feigned slipping and tumbling down. He made sure that the stick quite noticeably fell out of his hand. Kerii was already off to the side. The vampire, not seeing her, went after Eryll. When the vampire was in a good position, she leapt out of hiding and struck the vampire across the head with the sturdy piece of wood she held in her hands. It crumpled to the ground, knocked out. It would stay that way for at least a good few minutes, leaving Kerii and Eryll plenty of time to make their escape. He suggested that they head towards the edge of the woods as it would be six in the morning soon. The elf confirmed with what he said and proceeded towards the exit. Luckily, most creatures had stopped their nightly hunting and their return was rather uneventful. The two of them had made it out, safe and sound. "Well, I guess that's the end of it." Kerii was relieved that their challenges were over. "I guess we'll see each other later then?" After exchanging that bit of dialogue, Kerii would bid her friend farewell and the two elves would part ways.

Eryll
Kerii knocked the poor vampire out. Which was good enough for Eryll, at least he wouldn't be a dead elf now. Eryll pushed himself up off the ground and made his way to the edge of the forest kerii. The sun was rising and it was about time they head back to Orchidia. Eryll could not wait to be back in Orchidia, Eryll wondered what was going on in Orchidia at that moment, maybe there were more shape-shifting snakes infesting the cavern where he had destroyed the ones that had kidnapped him. He really hoped that that thought would not be true.

Kerii and Eryll had done it, they had survived these tests, they had camped out in the woods, hiked up a mountain and retrieved a crystal, swam to a remote island and found a rare apple, and lastly, survived the night in Fiore's most dangerous forest, Aldenwald. Eryll stretched, "I guess we did it, we finished all the tests, now we can finally go back home, get some rest, lord, that will be nice." Eryll mused. He could not wait to relax a tiny bit and work on getting some money, he would be able to decipher that stupid thing, that stupid obelisk piece that he had stolen from the cavern.

Once Eryll made it to the edge of the woods he gave a little stretch and pulled off the bracelet, "I guess I'll see you back in orchidia in a few days." Eryll said, "I could really go for a glass of wine." Eryll said, referencing how they met. Eryll grabbed his stuff where he had left it, he had plans to book it out of Dahlia and start on his way back to orchidia as soon as he could. He had not decided if he would take a train or walk yet, he would decide when he got to that problem. But for now he would go to the nearby inn and have a tiny bit of breakfast before he would make his way back to Orchidia.

Unbeknownst to either of the elves, their would soon be more danger in Orchidia.
