Taking the stance again Lucian focused his magic into his body, letting the mana flow through him. Quieting his mind and letting himself relax, Lucian pulled on the threads of mana and began to spin his body and slowly, he reached out and created staff portion from the bo staff training, remembering the type of blade he wanted to form. The scythe swept through the clearing with sickening speed, the blade arcing through the area with the power of a guillotine. As Lucian finished his spin, the weapon dematerialized as he finished the spin. The surrounding environment was cut into halves. The rock and the trees falling to the ground in a heap.
Satisfied, Lucian sat amidst the chaos. He had achieved again but it was still not enough. There was still so much more to gain. But unfortunately, his body was becoming more and more tired with each passing test and skill. But there was no other chance to train like now.
Lucian relished in the feeling of having the blood running through his veins and from his skin. There was the familiar feeling of being a living weapon, a primal creature of the world that was destined to defend itself and maintain its status as a true predator. The hunter and not the hunted.
It had been ages since he last had his claws and since he was a lion of the stars. But this new power was unique of it is own. He was not a lion, he was not the king, but the wolf. The lone Lord of the night and the forest. He fended for himself since that was all he had in the end. No pack, no partner, just him and his survival. Even with becoming a beast of legend and myth, there was still no sense of family or acceptance with any that thing. I have no guild, no place that fights me or where I belong. I am the monster that no one truly wants. Am I alone by my own choices or is it just destiny for me to have no one to call my own. Am I meant to live in this world alone until it is time to die?
