Natsumi dressed in what appears to be a hooded cloak covered her body, Finally returning after the blank period in which she was training.
She could feel the wind blowing as it blew the cloak apart. Her attire has more skin shown, in a way close combat would be possible unlike how she was back then. A tshirt and shorts, her body had grown considerably taller and more mature.
It seems she had taken after her father, being unusually tall for her age and still growing now that she is 18.

She walked through the streets of marigold, looking around, her long hair even longer and in need of a haircut. She ponders as she walked

'So this is marigold, it has been such a long time since I first came to a new town, I am quite happy, tho I am more fired up for a good fight. She smiles as she had grown up in the past years, now able to have a conversation without being emberessed, learning that not everything can be taught in a book. She learned that she has to take risks and speak her mind, even if it is out of the social norm.

Waking through the streets looking around before she got lost as on her travels she learned something important, she doesn't do well with some modes of transportation, having ridden a boat in her travels and getting sick from it.

Even as a child, Masami has already heard tales of "Marigold," referring to the city itself. Due to his duties, he has never left his hometown, not until a few days ago where he decided to leap forward once more to explore the vast world; "You only live once." is a quote Masami didn't like due to his noble, nimble(?), law-abiding character who only had responsibilities until he finally chose to become free. However, because he didn't have anything else to think of apart from food, clothing and perhaps some shelter and companions, he decided to go by the flow.

There were lots of stories where they described Marigold City as magical and endearing; the books described it very positively. Calm, peaceful... all those were proven correctly when Masami was finally stepping on the city's land, feeling the cool breeze. He was dressed up, as usual, with traditional Joyan clothing and accessories. Though he was given stares in the streets as he was passing by, it only bothered him slightly. He was used to this kind of attention – even more on stage. However, to him, it felt different to be surrounded by people of different culture. Will they accept him? Will he be found odd? His appearance isn't odd, although, as much as he believes, despite being aware of his deceiving feminine appearance.

He talked to almost everyone along the path, at least waving a hand and greeting them. He bought a couple of items to place inside his inventory, things that he'd need for the near future. "Wow, there's so many things I haven't done yet." he muttered to himself, loudly, audibly, anyone near would hear and should've taken notice of this. This is what he wanted, the key to companionship. What surrounded him were just children with adult supervisions; he waves at those whoever points at him and smiles. He was like a doll, though he didn't feel entitled to it.

There were elders too, and the scenery was so amazing that he could even see the farmers and the crops from afar, and the castle in the end. Children, teenagers, men and women, ladies and gentlemen. There were people of casual clothing too, one of them was a lady, taller than him. Her height was what he noticed first, next came the longer legs accompanied by her figure. Unlike what the girl wore, Masami was covered up. Except his legs were showing, but his upper body was covered.

He leaned to tease the girl, trying not to appear cocky and playful yet innocent instead. "The sun rays kill but the wind is too cool to leave skin bare open." He said this right directly at the girl, hoping to create an acquaintance after that attempt. Then he picked a mandarin orange from his inventory and peeled it, taking a bite while gazing back at the girl. The wind was truly gentle.

Natsumi kepts on walking down the streets and soon she heard something that was directed at her.
Looking at the lone male, noticing his attire and using that to depict where he might hail from. Noticing how tall she is compared to him.

"Yes I quite agree, but for me the sun feels nice. I didn't know i grew so tall, I bee training in solitude.
She smiles as he holds up a finger, flames coming out and writing out her name in flames "My name is Natsumi, Natsumi Duranndal, the fire mage. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. she says with a cheeky smile. her clothes abit too small for her now that she realized how tall she grew.

Standing stood as she looked around to notice all the people giving her looks now that she noticed.
She thought to herself 'So all this time people were staring at me cause of how tall I am, I mean my father was taller then most men standing at almost 8 feet tall due to his unique heritage, i didnt think that would mean I would end up taller then most cause of this. That isnt important, it doesnt matter how tall I am as long as I am true to myself. She looked at the male and asked "So can I know your name and maybe we can chat for abit"

Masami's eyes almost literally sparkled when the taller lady, Natsumi, used her fire magic to introduce herself. "Woah..." Masami's jaws dropped as he stared closely at what the fire mage did, getting near the fire each second. "I can't do that! How do you do that?"

He used his fire magic to appeal the fire mage – blowing unto his left pinky finger and forming a Noh theater mask through the flames. He kept the mask floating around the air for a few seconds then turned his left palm into a fist, causing the flames to disappear without a trace. Then Masami shrugged, "This was all I could do." and held his hand out for a handshake. "Masami. Kita, Masami. You've probably heard of me before, but I hope not," then he made a genuine smile, feeling accomplished for being able to create a conversation, "I see you're looking for companions as well?"

Masami was delighted to be able to meet a mage that, similar to Masami, uses fire for magical purposes. He thought about how unfamiliar 'Duranndal' sounds in Masami's ears, and is quite afraid to mention it, assuming that he'd immediately pronounce it wrong. He also thought that there was some pride when she called herself the 'fire mage' as if it was a title of honor.

Or was it?

He loosened up a little, relaxing the hand he offered for a handshake. His thoughts happened in split-seconds that he was starting to feel weary about 'Natsumi Duranndal,' he also started to think that perhaps it was a wrong choice to start such conversation. To brush this off, Masami smiled. His shoulders bounced a little and his earrings kling-klanged among each other, then he held the mandarin orange on his left hand and took a bite from it.

The flames dissipate, reaching out to shake  Masami's hand "It truly is a pleasure and yes I am currently, but I plan to head to my guild for awhile first, I havent been there in awhile" she says as her guild symbol isnt anywhere that can be physically seen but resting upon her tongue. Looking at Misami's fire magic she clapped
"That is quite amazing, I havent met another fire magic user in a long time, oh to be honest I am trying to get a sort of nick name, something people can call me instead of my name, something to be known by. I wish to be known as Ifrit, oh but what about you, you can tell me abit about yourself as we walk, I would be interested to know more and form future connections.
she says with a smile trying to come off nice and honest.

she looked at him with a pique of curiosity "Are you from Joya, cause if so I have always been interested in their customs, I wish to study magic in all cultures. Oh i should probably say my fire magic is nothing impressive right now, I havent been training it but more my body to be stronger.

"Ah, so it was quite obvious!" Masami said this in a more childish tone of voice, almost poking himself with his left pinky. He reacted this way when he heard his hometown, 'Joya,' from Natsumi's lips. He hopped a little ahead of her, "Where are you off to? I'll follow you! I have many tales inside my pocket."

He doesn't know which to talk about first. There is a different feeling whenever you share ideas with a stranger, especially when you feel as if you have no secrets to hide. Masami started to take a few steps before starting to walk. "I'm not good at magic," he admitted, "I think it's fun. It only happened to me that it was fire. I mean, it was fire that came to me first. I don't live in a family of mages. A lot of my people are focused on work, use magic for work, but my family just doesn't."

Masami proudly knew to himself that he could've said more.

"Hey," compared to the energy from earlier, he called out in a very calm voice. It was not unusual, but perhaps a little sudden. Masami, at the moment, doesn't know which information to focus on, "how did you get your name?" When he asked, he didn't look at the girl. He looked at his steps and listened to every sound his soles made. "Not the 'Ifrit' that you thought of, I meant your actual name."

Now, the same energy was back. He had his hands brushing the air in doubt that Natsumi would misunderstand, and it is something Masami fears most in conversations. Although it wasn't a big problem, but he was used to avoiding the repetition of words.

Natsumi kept on walking, matching the pace of her new friend

"I am off the the guild hall, I haven't
been there in quite some time.

she says showing her guild symbol that rests on her tongue. Listening to Masami explain about her family and the use of magic, albeit short but was quite interesting. Upon hearing he question about her name she stopped walking and said

"Well Duranndal is my family name but Natsumi, My parents gave me that name when I was born, I did abit research awhile back and found out in joya it actually means Beautiful summer or something of the sorts, my mom was always interested in Joyan culture more then the next guy while my father was, well he was a idiot that thought, breathed and ate fighting and food. Though it seems as if I did inherit a few things from him, my height and my appetite."

she lets out a laugh as she begun walking again looking at masami to see how he would respond to that, curious as it was the first time anyone had ever asked about her name, she liked that quite abit, new experiences were pleasant to her.

"Ah... I didn't know you were off to the guild now." Masami scratched the back of his neck on impulse after this, then gave off a chuckle right after. After seeing Natsumi's guild tattoo, Masami thought about himself. Come to think of it, he doesn't know much about guilds. The only guild he knows is the one that helped him end that bad memory of his, but he wasn't so familiar about it at all.

"Well," he pouted, placing a finger under his lip, "your name is a Joyan name. There are lots of Natsumis in from where I live... but not too much. No wonder you're so interested in the culture!" Yet again, his hometown was mentioned. It caused his heart to throb a little, being reminded of the good memories he made with his loved ones. Hearing it brings back joy.

Now, Natsumi's guild symbol was nothing familiar to Masami. He knew quite a bit about gangs, but not guilds. The Holy Knights were quite famous, their name reaches the tales. "I'm sorry," Masami quieted down a little, "but... I don't know anything about your guild. Rather, I don't know any guilds. It never really came to me, is it a great thing to be in one?" He finally asked, he was quite afraid to do so. It was usually better to know more, but he only knew more inside his comfort circle. It's not so bad to ask information once in a while.

Natsumi snickers as she looked at him, the way he talks, acts and such reminding her of a boy she knew when she was a kid.

"If you'd like I can teach you about them, the mechanics of a guild, but If i had to pick as to the biggest benefit of a guild, it would be the people, so many different kinds of people within a guild, traveling, adventuring together. You never know what can happen and it makes for fun times, That is the reason I joined a guild, to have fun and have good companions."

She says as she stopped walking for abit, "Heading to the guild can wait, if you so wish we can stop somewhere, and have good times, and if you so wish it I can show you the guild I am apart of, I will bring you there and introduce you to whoever is there at the time.

she smiles at him, blushing as she looked to the sky remember her training day, traveling the lands alone as she so did miss being around other, now wanting to travel with them most of all and have fun the same kind of fun she had missed out on

'People... huh...'

Masami smile was more casual now, rather than the exaggerated-looking one. Though Masami doesn't fake his appearance, at least attempt not to, he got used to exaggerating emotions a little to portray emotions. Sometimes, he'd look more upset than he really is, and his happiness might appear fake. He doesn't take notice of this, though, and would rather take notice of other people. People are important. No matter how many moments a person can live alone, he will never be able to live like an island.

He'd look at a direction away from Natsumi. "I've only been here for a day or two, I don't know much places. So, you take me around, please!" both of his palms met each other, as if he was begging. He even winked; this expression appeared more sudden and exaggerated, but natural at the same time. It wouldn't take much time for people to get used to this. The boy had hoped that his appearance would not bother the lady he walks around with; he ended up placing his hands behind his nape to support his head, making him appear more casual. "I'd treat you some pastries for the day, you can tell me about yourself and the guild. I'm also looking for a place to belong to, quite a bit."

She smiled brightly as she has been showing more of her emotions that she had once, smiling as she proclaimed
"Sure I wont mind showing you around and all but maybe this can lead to us becoming companions, even if you dont join the guild, we can travel together and fulfill quests if you so wish to with me, I would be glad to have the company of another, an unknown variable to the team."

She smiles as she felt abit nervous again, calming down as she began to walk showing him around, showing off the farmland, showing him the castle, streight to the theater and then back to the streets

"The last place to show you is the guild hall, before I head there.....would you like to ask something, any question, or such."

She soon thinks to herself before he replies.

'I do hope he isnt scared off by me, I been hoping to find someone who would be willing to travel with me, and another fire mage...I am so curious, I wanna see him fight, I wonder what kind of fire magic he uses. OH i Shouldnt go on and on in my own head like I used to.....Old habits die hard.

Masami hadn't gotten the theater out of his head. "I didn't know Marigold City had a theater, too!" he said out of joy, being reminded of the things he liked. He thought to himself that he'd be away from theaters and stages forever... until now – it was unexpected for him. He was happy that he didn't expect much, because you will no longer know the joy of being surprised if you expect highly of something. "Ah, I want to visit the inside of it soon."

He had almost forgotten that it was Natsumi that was taking him around, being in front of the lady instead of being beside or being behind. "Oh, I'm looking for companions too, so you don't have to—" The boy was cut off when Natsumi asked if Masami had questions... questions? Masami didn't think of that. He suddenly started thinking of questions, questions that were a bit too basic. Height? Favorite food? Masami doesn't ask, he just ends up knowing.

"Question?" he muttered out, laughing a little after due to slight awkwardness. The questions that came through him were either too basic or too unusual. Should he ask what Natsumi would feel if she ever burns the Constitutional Court down? 'What am I even thinking?'

Masami showed his hesitation and slowed his walking, "Any question?" he asked this to make sure. Of course, he wouldn't think of anything that would be inappropriate. Masami has his pride, too, not to mention talking to a lady... a lady! Masami has been quite used to 'being the lady' because of his looks, hopefully he hadn't made the girl uncomfortable. "Don't worry! I won't interrogate you or anything like that!" the boy waved both of his hands in the air, his reaction accompanying his own words.

She couldnt help but laugh out loud, letting loose as his reaction, the way he acted made her laugh.
She had always tried to mind what was appropriate in each and every social situation, she had never laughed so hard in her lifetime.

"I can't help but laugh.....sorry....sorry but you can ask whatever you want, dont mind me it is quite hard to offend me, plus the way you said that, thinking you would be asking a simple question would lead to an interogation is actually quite cute.

she says as she calms down looking at him, inspecting him as she thinks.

'Well I better head to the guild hall but....maybe I can convince him to team up with me for a few quests, He seems quite nice, and would be a good team mate. Plus probably would be a good companion that can calm me down, ever since I been training, I end up getting caught up in battle and carried away'

she soon takes his hand, and proclaims

"Let us do a few quests and team up come on, I wont let you take no for an answer.

she proceeded to drag him off, holding his hand with a rather cheeky smile upon her face of pure excitement.


(Exit)

Her laugh confused Masami, causing him to lean his head a little to the side and raise a brow. "Eh?" he responded, but before he could process his thoughts and add more to his sentence, his hand was grabbed and he was dragged away. He would follow Natsumi's walking speed after, but he really did not know what was going on. Masami was reminded by someone that the guild members in Marigold City were quite... odd. Were they correct if Masami finds Natsumi quite odd? Not to mention her unfathomable dialogues. Perhaps this was normal in Fiore, and that Masami was the odd one. But that's no question – his choice of clothing is already odd enough.

A few quests doesn't seem too bad, Masami could use some help in raising Jewels, the currency here in Fiore, so he nodded. "At least tell me before taking me away! I feel like I'm being kidnapped." he responded to Natsumi, placing a palm on top of his face. To be fair, both of them are already quite odd, and Masami was not used to having another person in his strangeville. Nevertheless, he let the girl take him to wherever she wants to go, there's so much more things to do, now that he finally made his first steps in Marigold City.
