It was yet another beautiful day in Marigold Town and the south was never disappointing with its endlessly beautiful weather and warm temperatures. Rania was looking for something to do today as she was quite bored and felt as though that she could use her free time to help someone out rather than just lazing around. Rania always thought that perhaps the theatre was the most famous spot within Marigold but maybe that wasn’t entirely right. There were other things that this little town was famous for and one of those things were the cabbages! Marigold was surrounded by farmlands and that’s what most people here did for a living: they were farmers. While they farmed all sorts of different vegetables and livestock, this time of the year was quite special because it was cabbage season. Cabbages were a part of almost every meal here in Marigold and if you didn’t like them, you would have a hard time avoiding them for sure.

There was one guy in town who was quite famous for his cabbages. His name was Farmer Jim and he was probably the oldest and most well known cabbage farmer around. It was his passion from what she had gathered as he had been farming with cabbages since before the duke had been born (which was quite a long time). Jim was getting older though and because of this he occasionally needed help with his cabbages. He wasn’t the youngest anymore, being in his mid 50s now, but he was still passionate about harvesting a shit ton of cabbages each and every year.

And right now was that time of the year again. But he needed some help and since carrying cabbages around wasn’t really anything difficult, Rania decided to see if the guy wanted her help. She wasn’t usually one to do a lot of physical work, but as a dancer she used to have great fitness so perhaps this wasn’t a bad idea at all. Farmer Jim lived on his farm at the edge of Marigold, but not too far from the town itself. He was living with his wife, who was also much into cabbages, although not as much as Jim. He was very kind and when Rania explained why she had arrived, he was grateful for her help. However, the thing he asked her to do first was to help him with some ailments, since she was a healer after all. It seemed that he had pulled a muscle while lifting up too many cabbages at once, but luckily Rania was able to help without problem.

Once that was done, Rania had to help with the cabbages. Honestly, she had never seen so many freaking cabbages. She knew that they were being shipped all over the country and that's why her help was much needed. The job was to crate the hundred something cabbages and then stack them in the cart, so that they could be shipped out. He also reminded her kindly not to ruin any of the precious cabbages. At the end of the day, Rania received payment and left.
