Rania was still in Marigold Town, and for the time being she was having a good time. The weather was beautiful, it was very summary and the whole mood of the town was light-hearted and happy. She enjoyed being here because of that and it was also the main reason for why Rania hadn’t left Marigold yet. There was always more work to do and she found this place in particular to be easy to find work at. Rania wanted to make some money before she continued her travels and especially recently she had been able to find some goods that she had purchased to improve her gear and overall appearance a bit.

Truth be told, the young woman was finally hoping to become a proper mage! She knew that her magic was special enough and that she was quite talented at magic, especially being a healer. Healers were overall respected because of the services they could do to society and it was Rania’s goal to hopefully join someone somewhere and be a part of something. Lately she had also been practicing more spells, which made things all the more exciting. Rania’s light magic had always been pretty basic, but luckily she was able to train with one of the locals here at the cathedral. An elderly pastor who also used light magic introduced her to the church of illumin, faith and taught her something to improve her skills. She already felt as though her magic was much much stronger now and for that she was grateful.

Rania wanted to focus mainly on healing, but as a Paladin she was also capable of hurting those who wronged her and those who presented a danger to her and her friends. Rania by herself was a very patient person so she didn’t mind staying for much longer than necessary in Marigold to perfect her crafts. She was also lucky in the regard that the town had been visited by merchants recently, who brought along all sorts of interesting items with them.

She had saved up some money and decided in order to be a traveling sorceress, she needed some goods to help her out. Rania lacked a lot of magical strength, but she was able to even it out by being a talented sorceress and quick with magic instead. Basically, the first merchant she’d met was someone who was selling staffs and wands to wizards and witches. That was something she was interested in in particular, because Rania had heard the rumours that staffs could very much improve the life quality of a wizard and the effect of their spells, by making them easier to cast.

Apparently those staffs were enchanted in their own way and it was only until Rania tried a few ones out that she learned the truth about it. Rania was able to cast her soothing healing spells through the staff and she immediately noticed how she felt less weakened after doing that. The staffs were very effective and efficient, making the mana drain that occurred whenever she used a spell of her magic not as big, there for allowing her to keep on going longer and use more spells over all.

The staff was called a ‘Hierophant Staff’ and Rania had decided to purchase it immediately. It really did help her case and made her feel more like a professional wizard. The second item was also very interesting, but of different nature. It was a circlet, something she would be wearing all the time as some sort of piece of jewelry. It was very beautiful and adorned her forehead, but it was also of magical nature. When tapping the Solar Circlet, it would emit a bright light that would brighten the area and blind enemies. Perfect for escape, she thought. It also looked incredibly fashionable, which was probably her favourite part about it. But enough about shopping, because Rania was headed to the Marigold Theatre to help out again.

The Marigold Theatre used to be a hotspot here in town, filled with visitors coming in from all over the country to watch some of the famous plays and actors. It was incredible how popular it used to be, and honestly very sad how it fell apart during the demonic incursion and how everything came to be. Now the theatre was struggling to rebuild and sell their seats and even though it has been a while since the country had fallen into chaos and everyone was finally recovering, the theatre still struggled to do so. That's why they needed so many volunteers to help with different tasks and Rania, of course, was always happy to help. The young woman wanted to assist as much as she could.

In fact, today was her fourth day here at the Marigold Theatre and she had helped out before. The people who worked there already knew her by now and they knew that she was someone who was capable of healing. There was a lot of construction work going on to repair the theatre and sometimes one of the construction workers actually got hurt. In that case it was Rania’s job to help them through it and cure their ailments and she was happy to do so. So far no really serious accidents had happened, so all was well. Rania had also instructed them on dancing before, since she had a history with being a dancer, which they were also grateful for.

Whenever they needed someone to choreograph something for them she could do it, and today was no different. When Rania arrived at the theatre she was asked inside and asked to simply look around and see where and if she could help. Today had many volunteers here in Marigold theatre as well and Rania quickly walked into the masses to see where she could help. As per usual the first thing she did was to check if anyone needed medical assistance, but luckily that wasn’t the case as people seemed to be doing fine. The day went by with her completing minor tasks for the staff and at the end of it she was paid.
