Home| Stepping into Oak City with calmness for completing the previous, wretched request, Masami didn't even think he'd come across another... one of these. Now, everything was obviously chaotic: with people screaming and running around with their currently-being-destroyed homes. Maybe, just maybe, Masami wasn't meant to come here after all? He turned away, strictly holding his leather bag, and was ready to walk back... maybe come back home to Joya, and get rid of his pride in order to simply apologize and pay for his crimes. Right after turning away, he was pushed off by a random citizen whom was running for their safety, without any mindfulness about how the others would feel. "Wicked..." Masami thought to himself, catching his balance using one foot, then brushing the shoulder that was hit by the panicked citizen. Immediately after, shouting about some sort of bounty caught Masami's ear... bounty means money, right? That would be off use. The appearance of this spokesperson was awfully similar to the aristocrats of Myras City, giving Masami a bitter taste upon his lips. He was holding a paper out, using magic in order to amplify his announcements. Masami couldn't analyze what exactly he was saying, but what Masami's eye caught was a sight of a gigantic, skeleton monster, who was now coming to the both of them. It seemed to be mainly targeting the spokesperson, whom was right in front of Masami. Thus, the boy charged in, embracing the spokesperson with one arm while the other held out a pinky, breathing through it without waiting for the magic circle to form, thus releasing bursts of flames, and Masami did not stop until this skeletal being had completely stopped moving. Once taking enough damage, the creature just stopped, and neither Masami nor the spokesperson had time to react, so they just nodded at each other, as if agreeing unto something. 312/850 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

Thus, running through the city, letting the people run for their lives, Masami acts as if he was hunting down dragons... if they even existed in FTRP, anyway. At least they have skeleton beasts, and those are cool. Immediately after recalling the appearance of the said beast, he spotted one over the corner—two, no... three. Three of them, at final. Although Masami initially doubted whether to attack all of them at once, his body seemed to continue moving on its' own. "Fine... Superbia!" he shouted right after complaining, his body shining a bright light before deteriorating into another form. Immediately after the transformation, he leaped into the air and jumped to kick a skeleton beast's head—two kicks, rather, maybe one last more before he'd leap over to the next beast, doing the same thing. What he did to the third beast had magic involved, however, wherein Masami had to use the mask to grant him greater power. "Ah, that was scary." the performed told himself over a sigh, realizing that he was being stared at by a kid who was stuck right under a broken-down building. "What?" asked Masami, approaching the child with the intent of being helped, but was headbutted by another 'one of those' when he got distracted. "You guys are getting pretty masochistic, huh?" said Masami over the sight of three more beasts, in which he used the mask once more after quickly placing a boulder in front of the child, then releasing magical power. Now, this didn't wipe the monsters that quickly, so Masami had to use his pinky finger for the finale. Now that they were gone, Masami had enough time to carry the kid right into his arms, running whilst carrying the child. "Where is your mother?" asked the child's savior as they continue to zoom through the city, the hero still searching for another three to slay, just for the money. Yes, the reason was that shallow. Masami was kind enough to let the kid point the direction of where his parent was supposed to be but... over his direction was exactly what Masami was looking for. There were exactly three more skeleton beasts—well, four, but the one just left, so there's now three more. Masami is bad at math but isn't as dumb to miscalculate literally four minus one... come to think of it, Masami isn't even sure anymore if he was correct, whatever. There were three more skeleton beasts left, which is why he changed the way he carried the child, bringing her behind his back instead of the front. "Hold on tight, okay?" Masami winked over and waited for the child's response before charging in, still with the mask on, but even if it wasn't needed, we're going to use the cooldown rules for these kinds of stuff and since he had already used two spells from the mask, well, he's just going to use this to cover his face, finishing the quest in one or two more blows. 859/850 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |
