Once again, the ghoulish woman found herself sprawled on the same beach that had haunted her, taunted her, for the past several days now. She remembered it like a nightmare... Vivid, yet so distant. Eventually Mary managed to scrape together enough motivation to roll to her side. A couple of minutes later she managed to flop over fully. With a weak groan she pushed herself up, arms shaking from the effort. This island was wearing her down and yet... She just... wouldn’t... DIE. The thought sent shivers down her spine. She hastily shook it out of her head. Food. Yes, food was a much better focus right now. Hurriedly she shambled into the forest. Her guts groaned like some manner of monster, reminding her that fruits alone weren’t quite filling enough. So this time she chose to spend some time seeking for nuts instead.

Fucking hell, Nuala thought to herself. Her face was pale, she was breathing heavily and she felt incredibly tired–but she was alive. She was alive, she had survived the next round of the games that they had been forced into and she didn’t even quite know how to. There were buttons in front of them, they had to pick one and push and hope for the best. Nuala had been lucky not to poison herself and she was able to get out alive. But once again someone had died and the number of people on the island was decreasing. She was wondering whether there was going to be one or two survivors, or if they were all going to die eventually. But for now, she was searching for fruits.

While Nuala was walking through the woods, she kept looking for more food. She was successful in finding a decent amount of fruits, and they were all fresh and delicious. It seemed that she had finally gotten to a place on the island where the fruit was growing nice and well and it was just what she needed. She was now, however, on the hunt for something that would strengthen her sore muscles: meat. Nual was sneaking through the thicket of the woods and went on a little hunt. She had spotted a large deer earlier, and there were also some rabbits around. Hopefully she could catch some!

Nuala’s hunt for meat hadn’t been super successful, but at least she still had all her fruits to snack on. The next thing she decided to look for were nuts. Nuts were a great source of protein and energy in total and she knew that those little magical things were extremely healthy and that she needed them if she wanted to work properly. More than anything, this island had taught her that she really needed her brain as well, and not just her strength and speed. Nuala snuck through the bushes and crawled around the ground to search for nuts that she could pick and snack on.

Nuala had been pretty successful on her search for nuts as well. The Voidling had found some decent nuts that would give her the needed energy. She stopped by a river to drink some water, and for a moment there considered going for some fish as well. Fish was healthy and good and much easier to catch than actual meat, but Nuala hated fish, she really did. Because of this, she decided against it and returned to the thicket of the forest, where she had been successful before. This time she was looking for herbs. Should she get sick, she could hopefully use these herbs to help herself, and use them to season the meat she had gotten.

Ugh... That was an especially nasty one... Alisa could still smell the rancid, foul smelling gas that would have inevitably killed her if somebody else hadn't died before her. Now more than ever, survival had come down to dumb luck... They had another day to prepare before the next game that would take place tonight, and Alisa intended to make the most of it. "Oh, not bad... Not bad at all~...", in the end Alisa could only smile to herself as she looked over her find. She got quite a nice haul of good quality, tasty looking nuts, something that on its own could already keep the hunger at bay for a good while longer.

But she still had a good while longer until sundown, when the next game would take place. Looking up into the sky, shielding her eyes from the sun's gleam, she took a rough estimate of just how much longer she had before pulling moving to a different patch of grass and shrubbery, instead looking for some manner of Herbs.

Well, that was a bust... The lithomancer clicked her tongue, perhaps having gotten her hopes up with how well the first search had turned out. Instead, she came up empty handed for a long while, however, she wasn't about to let that stop her.

"Hmmm... Maybe I should look for a different patch...", she mused, rubbing her chin as she looked away from her current position and a few meters further ahead. She still had quite a bit of time left, so it wasn't as though one ill fated search would immediately meant she had to go hungry tonight. Really, all she needed was a little stroke of luck... All too easily that satisfied smile drew back on her lips as she found herself a handful of wonderfully smelling herbs, so much she couldn't help but close her eyes as she breathed in their fragrance... Truly, even an island as hellish as this one could have a couple hidden treasures lying around... Though granted, she could hardly blame the island itself for their predicament now. It was all the handiwork of a single unsavory character. But all too soon, they would have their chance. For now though, she sculptress crafted herself a sharp stick and headed for the sandy shores, hoping to catch herself some Fish and complete a healthy, hearty meal before the challenge ahead.

Once again, Masami found himself rummaging through the greens, searching for herbs. Come to think of it, Masami had only very little knowledge about herbs. How come he has been finding them around the island this whole time? Huh, weird. Anyway, as air-headed as he may be sometimes (at least it was better this way, anyway), Masami had lowkey forgotten about ever dying in the island. It was already enough difficulty to manage each others' turns in a game, and Masami isn't also good at trying to be logical whatsoever. Anyway, for these herbs, hopefully they work out in the end.

Bummer, should Masami try looking for other resources? Nah, herbs look like a very useful resource. We have three more chances of resource-finding today, so we are not going to waste it. Masami continues to rummage his hands over the greens in search for useful, safe and edible herbs. Although he found some earlier, but those were unknown and Masami isn't so sure whether those were poisonous or not. Hopefully, he doesn't get bit by any sort of insect with all this rummaging, and Masami doesn't even need to move to another spot if he wants to surely find those herbs.
