Rania decided that there was no further need for herself and Kenzo to rest. The couple had enjoyed every moment in Hosenka thus far, but intrigued by the city, it's curious charm and ominous mystery, the girl could not help herself – she had to go out looking for trouble. For mages and members of a light guild there always seemed to be something to do in every city, and while she was grateful for the job opportunities, it also made Rania realize how many problems this country had. She had picked up a flyer quest from the local request board and was on her way to Kenzo’s rooms. They stayed on different floors of the same hotel, but since it was still early in the morning chances were the mercenary wasn’t even out of bed yet.
As per usual, the Paladin let herself in, rudely woke the blue-haired male by smacking him with her staff until she was certain he was both awake and listening, then sat herself on a chair next to his bed and began reading from the flyer. “Weirdlock Jones, a local detective is looking for assistance in what seems to be an unsolvable case just yet,” she paused, took a glance at Kenzo and made sure he was still keeping up. “A recent string of murders has kept the citizens of Hosenka on edge, and he requests our assistance to help him in this matter.” At this point, Rania knew that she didn’t have to say more: if Kenzo wanted the beating to stop, he better get ready as soon as possible so the two of them could get going.
