Kurisa Megami One blue, one brownish-red as they gazed into the mirror to look at themselves. Her magic was taking one of her eyes for themselves as they turned blue as the shallow ocean. Her hair was brown with blonde streaks shined as she wondered where this was going to go. Was this more towards her curse or just her magic? There was no sign of illness just yet so it couldn't have been it. She lifted up her strapless dress and poofed up her hair to organize it. She wanted to still look professional, but then again you end up dancing around poles anyways. She was here to find out information about some group who knew about some people she was looking for. She was given some tips that people that knew will go to the strip club every so often. First, it was the Casino, now it was at the strip club. What's with people and their Sins. She too was one, but so far she has met the Sin of Greed. Who will be next? Her eyes wandered as she exited out of the changing room. She wore a Chinese short dress with no straps. Her hair had an Asian ornament stuck in her hair as most of these women wore skimpy outfits. The worst she could do was many a bunny outfit, but that outfit was outworn when she worked at the Casino. She was a special pay worker. She walked around and watched every man thirst over every woman of their type. Kurisa herself? She was acting as a picky stripper who is worth more than every stripper in this damn City. Every man that she walked by was charmed but was too poor for her. She wondered if anyone had info that she needed. Perhaps, she will go cheaper for one who had it. None of these men looked like they had any though. Words xxxx/xxxx |
The Swinging Maiden [Zane]

Zane grumbled a bit at Beelzebub's inferior opinion echoing through his head. "No, Rush Hour 2 was clearly the better overall experience. The action and comedy are both improved, and the setting is overall more interesting." Beelzebub sighed a bit at Zane's inferior opinion. "I've had enough of you for today, Zane. After the pineapple on pizza debate earlier, I think it's about time I just go to sleep for a while." Zane blinked, unaware such a thing was even possible. Could Beelzebub even go to sleep within the confines of Zane's mind? Apparently so, considering that Zane had now gone 2 minutes without the demon commenting on anything. Perfect! He was finally alone. Now that he didn't have a fly in his head to judge him at every moment, Zane felt it best to indulge in something while Beelzebub wasn't here.
Zane admittedly had never been in any establishment like this. His experiences with fiction made him at least know how things worked, kinda. Taking a seat at an empty table as he looked around the busy building, Zane nervously wondered just how he'd get something going here. Usually he wasn't so easily flustered into not doing anything, but the new atmosphere this place was offering certainly made him hesitate a fair bit more than he usually would. Tapping his finger on the top of the table, Zane wondered how best to proceed. Most of the people here were paying money. He guessed that the more you had, the better experience you'd have, right? If he was going to indulge in this kind of thing, he may as well try to get the absolute best he could. While Beelzebub could be annoying at times, Zane admitted that the demon had helped him get quite rich. Zane would have to thank him when he was back awake.
Deciding to stop his hesitation, Zane figured the best move was to just announce himself and hope everything worked out. If he turned out to look stupid by doing it, well... he looked stupid most of the time anyways. There wasn't too much to lose in this particular situation (besides his money of course) so he was more the willing to just call out in hopes to find the best option as soon as possible. "I want your most expensive girl!" Zane called out, the customers and some of the staff looking at him for a second before eventually turning away to continue on with their business. Zane's face was visibly nervous. Was this going to work out? Did they think he was weird? Did they care a lot? A little? Would the big bouncer guy come to throw him outside as though he was a ball? His fingers tapped more nervously against the table as he awaited to see if his call would be answered in any kind of way.

Kurisa Megami Kurisa walked and twirled around the customers who were guests by code. She had to act kind and nice, all protocol. The bartender gave her some drinks and told her that there was someone who wanted the most expensive person. Who in the hell had that kind of money? She looked where the guy was pointing to see some blonde man with some eyepatch. Was it just for looks? Pretending to be some pirate? She didn't really care since this was her 'job'. Slowly, she walked towards him with a tray of drinks in her left hand. As soon as she was about five feet she put her right hand on her hip. "I heard you were wanting the most expensive?" She spoke in a breathy Italian accent. Her brown and blue eyes gazed into his eye as the other was covered. "Come, we have a different room for those who pay more.~" She spoke, motioning her fingers in a 'come here' motion. She smiled sweetly with passionate eyes. If she was going to fake it, she better make it. With drinks still in her left hand, she made sure he was following her to the VIP room. She wondered if this guy had the info she needed. The further they went, the quieter it got. There was one door only in the long hall. Once she opened it revealed a moonlit room with a round sectional sofa. Behind it was an aquarium filled with exotic beautiful fishes. In the middle was a pole and the sides had tabled. She bent down to settle the tray and turned to look at him while standing back up. "Wish for me to escort you to the sofa?~" She wondered at first. "How do you wish to play this? We have the dancing game, questioning game or if you prefer, I can feed you, brush your hair." She went on, but then realized he'd be confused. This was a strip club after all. She giggled, "Right, since you pay more. We can do what you like besides any 'favors'. I once had a guy come in here and wanted some counseling. It was odd, but I'm quite good at helping with life." She made sure that was clear. No touching was on the wall where he could see it unless the stripper/woman wished. Words xxxx/xxxx |

In a way, Zane's mental state could be considered a bit younger than most. He was originally born as an elf. Despite having become a human years ago, he was still raised as an elf. This led to him usually having maturity that seemed younger compared to what one would expect from most humans that were pushing 30 years old. Maybe he shouldn't even be in this place... doubts raced through Zane's head as his heart similarly went at a breakneck pace, both trying to outrun each other while he walked through a hallway for what seemed like eternity. His thoughts were broken up by the pair's arrival at the door - more precisely the opening of said door by the woman. Looking into the room, Zane couldn't help but think that the atmosphere in here was a little much, even if it was nice... nervously stepping in, Zane was still acting a bit stiff for the time being as the woman noted some options.
"Hair brushing?" Zane asked, wondering about such a thing. He hadn't gotten his hair brushed since he learned how to hold a comb. It would admittedly be nice, even if it wasn't what he was expecting from such a place. Looking over to the nearby signs, Zane took note of one and tried to avoid any thoughts that could come into his head. His eyes instead focused on the nearby sofa, moving towards it. He wanted to try and seem at least somewhat composed here. "U-uh, yeah! That sounds great. I'll just take a seat over here." Zane walked slowly over to the sofa and took a seat, trying to recline a little into it in a desperate attempt to feel at least somewhat relaxed here. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, Zane knew he had it in him to compose himself. He just had to play it cool. She was just going to brush his hair for now, right? Then he only needed to focus on that.

Kurisa Megami She wondered how old he was as he could be her younger brother in age. She smiled softly as she wondered what he wanted from her. Simple or perhaps more complex? He seemed rather nervous though, but nervous was good cause it just meant he has never done this before. "First time, huh?~" She spoke in a teasing manner. Kurisa went to her dresser to open the door. There were many combs, brushes, and other tools for this room. He picked brushing instead of combing so she went through them thinking, which? "Ah..." She picked a brush up and walked towards him. "Now then..." She sat next to him, one leg on his legs as the other was sat on by herself to be tall enough to reach above him. Her brush was a silver-plated vanity hairbrush. "Now, how about we ask each other questions while we talk, hmm?~" She snugged against him as she brushed his hair soothingly. Her fingernails slowly go through each strand of his golden hair, massaging his scalp. She wanted to get every knot within his hair. "You first." She offered. Her chest was against his back as she leaned over to get the top of his head. To be fair, she felt awkward doing this since she only wanted to be this close to the man she wanted, but for now, that was no one now. She failed every trial, every person she tried with didn't want her. That was alright though, for now, she will ask questions about the people she wanted to know about. She will do what it takes to get those answers. Words xxxx/xxxx |

Still, Zane didn't notice just how little he had been taking care of his hair lately. It wasn't a rat's nest or anything like that, but his hair was certainly not combed through properly in the last few days. The events that had been going on were most likely a contributing factor in this, everything moving so quickly that he sometimes would forget about such simple things that were otherwise always a part of his routine. "Questions?" Zane asked, wondering about what he would even ask such a girl. There were a lot of things, but he couldn't help but wonder if the woman would be giving real answers. He was paying after all. It wasn't too long ago that he met another woman who didn't give real answers. Zane figured he'd probably just say whatever came to mind and see what she'd answer. This was all part of the experience either way.
"What's your name?" he asked, almost turning his head to look at her by accident but stopping himself when noticing there was a brush in the back of it. Close. Still, this was a simple enough question, if not a boring one. Just so that the woman couldn't return a similar question, Zane quickly replied with "My name's Zane. Er, well, Christian Zane. I kinda forget about the Christian part sometimes..." Zane wondered if he'd be calling himself Christian more often now that his cousin Marwyn was back in his life. Then again, Christian was certainly a pain in the ass to type out sometimes. He had been going by Zane for a while, so thinking of himself as Christian definitely required going through the post and changing a ton of names. Noticing he accidentally broke the 4th wall again, Christian decided to just listen for the time being. Would he even get this girl's true name? He didn't know much about this business, but he imagined all he would get was an alias.
Fri Aug 07, 2020 11:08 pm
"Kurisa. Most know me as Arisa though." She was completely honest. That was what people knew her as when it came to anyone within her 'circle'. Mmm, do you mind if I just call you Chris? Or do you prefer Zane?" She did not care which one, but shorter names were easier to remember. Unlike some people, this name seemed more believable to be real unlike 'Lucifer' and the like. She still felt like some names were so familiar...
Luc-ifer
Luc-us
How creative. She rolled her eyes in her head as she realized she too went through the fourth wall because logically, how would she know? Apparently, characters aren't allowed to be that smart to put two pieces together and assume things. "So, do you have a type of music?" She wondered and put down the brush, stood up, and went to the magical music changer. It'll get boring without music as music was relaxing and could change moods real fast.
Sat Aug 08, 2020 5:28 pm
"Arisa, huh? Nice to meet you." Zane hadn't heard that name before. Then again, Fiore was full of so many diverse names that it was uncommon to hear the same one twice in the first place. He supposed "Christian" was probably more in the middle overall. One might think it wouldn't be, since Fiore was based off of italy and all, but this is an english language forum in the end. Zane's mind decided to stay away from the fourth wall for a bit after that thought, his own self awareness scaring him a bit. "That's a nice name."
Music hadn't been something Zane had even considered. His mind had been so caught up in the nervousness of the situation at hand that most sounds not coming out of him or Arisa didn't even process in his mind properly. "Oh, uh..." What kind of music did he like anyways? Most people gave the generic response of "anything but country", but Zane did have a soft spot for country music, coming from Baska and all. Wasn't exactly the best choice for this setting. What should he say? What were all the kids into these days? "I like, uh..." Zane's mind flashed back to a conversation him and Beelzebub were having a few days ago.
A few days ago... wrote:"Ugh, what is this taco restaurant playing? I can't believe their kind actually listens to this kinda crap."
"Actually, I think that's pretty culturally insensitive, bro." Zane's voice echoed in his mind as he ate his taquito. The demon really shouldn't insult the cultures of others like that. "No, I mean humans." Zane's face turned to a frown. "I bet the music you demons listen to is pretty horrible, though." "It is! But not all earthland music is bad, you know. I'm a big fan of that one Joyan pop group. The one who's song was playing at that store the other day!"
Zane's eyes widened in surprise. "You like J-Pop?!" He was very clearly shocked at the news. It was a safe assumption to say that most demons wouldn't like that kind of thing, especially from an idol group of all things. Zane expected them to be into screamo, or metal, or something more... hardcore. "Yes! I'm a huge fan. In fact, I think they have one of their posted on the window of the restaurant across the street!" Looking out the window to his side, Zane's eyes met with the poster of 10 different girls in an idol group, their logo colorfully filling up the top half of the sheet. The idol's outfits were extremely extravagant, and they were clearly trying way too hard to be cute. The fact that all their uniforms were matching also made it even more unappealing to Zane. "There they are! Oh, Miyoko is my favorite. She's cute as hell! Which one is your's?" Zane couldn't even know where to begin judging them. "They all look the same..."
"Actually, I think that's pretty culturally insensitive, bro."
Zane's mind panicked as he soon realized just how much actual time was spent thinking back to that moment. "J-Pop!" He nervously blurted out, it being the only answer he could even think of. His face turned red, embarrassed he would ever say he'd like such a thing, even if it was only on accident. Still, it wasn't like he was able to think of something else either way. Zane just hoped Arisa wouldn't judge him too harshly...

She cat-walked back and plopped right next to him, arm on the sofa. "So, Chris I wondered what made a guy like you - nice and a gentleman hang out in a place like this?" She waited on his answer if he was hungry and if he was then she magically sent a letter for the girls to gather some food and drinks. "Anything you prefer?" She would ask if he agreed to eat with her. She wanted to take care of him for some reason. He was like a precious small brother even not matter if he was taller than her or not. His personality so far made her want to take care of him. It was odd... Finally, it was time for Zane to ask her a few questions.
Mon Aug 10, 2020 9:35 pm
Zane blinked at her question. Gentlemanly? Huh? He was no gentleman! Everything with Lucas and Zagan made him pledge to be the villain. Holding his hands up a little as he spoke to Arisa, Zane seemed as though he was very much trying way too hard to seem like something he wasn't, in a somewhat cute way. "Huh? Gentleman! No way! I'm a horrible guy, I only came here for lewd things! 100 Percent!" Zane's face definitely didn't make his false intents any more believable, nor did his actions. Despite saying all this, Zane hadn't really tried to go for anything on the sexual side since he had gotten into the building. He had his hair brushed, he had some music played, he talked a bit and asked a few questions. Everything so far had been so perfectly clean that it was starting to bug him. He wanted to find a way to prove to this lady that he was a real horrible guy! A villain, just like he had decided back in Worth Woodsea!
"Would a gentleman do this?" Zane asked, moving his hand in the direction of Arisa's chest. His arm stopped halfway through, and though the direction he was going in was very apparent, it also seemed quite obvious that he was just bluffing. Moving his hand instead towards the table, it knocked over a house of cards that was totally 100 percent there the entire time. "Hah! Look at that! No good person would ever do such a thing." Zane looked back to Kurisa, a smile on his face. Would this be enough to show her that he was truly a horrible human being? He would've preferred to do it the touching way, but, well... Zane could just make the excuse that the sign was there! That was it! He hadn't given any sort of permission after all. She most likely never would. Zane had a perfectly sound reason not to do it.

"Look, if you want to be evil. You'll have to do more than that. Being evil or dark... different ways of going at it. Like I use to be bad, but I wouldn't say evil. Maybe to 'their' eyes." She started and cornered her eyes with a soft sweet smile, but her eyes became icier. Her dark days were over though. There was no way she was going to that. Plus, Phantom Lord was destroyed, that was her old guild long ago. Experimenting on people was her little secret though. Her favorite one was Jaze. Where she sca-- Oh wait, you don't like that story. Without furthering into the fourth wall Kurisa went to his shoulders and rubbed them. "You don't have to act for me, Chris.~" She teased. "You remind me of what a little brother I'd have if I had one." She teased more and went to go back to sit down, taking a drink.

It felt so odd being called Chris. Zane did suppose it was technically his name, but after a while almost everyone (even himself) had defaulted to just referring to him by his last name. As Arisa claimed he was just putting on an act, Zane sighed. "I really wish it wasn't an act, Arisa..." Most would be confused on why Zane was so insistent on being a villain. While Zane had a few theories, he didn't want to admit to any of them. All he knew was that he needed to change some way or another - after all of his experiences in Myras, it was clear to Zane that simply not going anywhere with his future or personality would only lead him to stick in the same state he had been. At least by being bad he was going somewhere. Speaking of being bad, Zane's face turned the opposite at Arisa's next words.
Little brother? Zane didn't match that type of guy at all! There was no way he could ever be seen like that by someone, despite the fact that his childhood bond with his cousin Marwyn already greatly resembled one of an older sister. "What? Don't be ridiculous!" Zane was trying very hard to deny such a role, even turning his face away in an attempt to hide any sign of what he was actually thinking on the idea. "Besides, I'm an only child through and through. I have no idea what having a big sister would be like anyways." Zane actually did have quite the idea, but he was obviously trying to steer the conversation a different direction. Looking across the room, Zane's eyes darted to different parts of it. Window? Hosenka? What would he say? No, something else... lamp? Light? Sun? Weather? No, no, that was small talk of the smallest kind. Zane's eyes eventually darted to the sign from earlier.
Ah, right! Someone who was bad would very clearly try to ask for such a thing from whoever was there. It was definitely the opposite of being a gentleman. Clearing his throat a bit, Zane turned back to Arisa, trying to have a more serious expression on his face. His tone was a bit deeper now, almost as if he was in some juvenile attempt to sound more manly. "Do you allow me to touch you however I want, Arisa?" Thinking on it, Zane wasn't sure that was what the sign said. Turning his head to check it quickly, Zane faced Arisa once again. He did make a mistake after all, so it was his job to fix it! "I mean wish! Do you wish me to is what I meant."
Thu Aug 13, 2020 7:26 pm
"Ah~ Being the only child. I remember how that was. Very lonely in my opinion. Let me be your sister now." She softly whispered and gave off an innocent smile. This guy, she then remembered him from somewhere. He was behind him, Lucas. Her eyes widened without him noticing. So he was also joining that one guy's 'group'. There was no name for it, but they were apart of his followers. "heh" She let go slowly and took another drink after leaning over and standing back up. "So, Chris... What makes you go against the dragon people?" She curiously as while swishing her drink within her glass.
Fri Aug 14, 2020 8:31 pm
The playful mood of the conversation came to a bit of a halt once Kurisa revealed a bit of info. He didn't recognize Arisa from back then. How could he, really? There were so many people on that one dragon's side, and his eyes were focused on Mary and Tomoe at the time. Zane's heart would beat a little bit faster. Was this some kind of spy? If she already knew about him, was this all some kind of act? An attempt to butter him up? Pausing for a bit, Zane's face turned to one that was much more serious as he would debate the numerous options he had in his head.
1. Zane could tell her the truth. He honestly had no idea why he was going against the dragon people. Well, he did. He wanted Nightmare, and Zagan was against them. Zagan was the only person who could get him that power after all.
2. Zane could tell a lie. Perhaps act as if he had some sort of deeper reason to stand up against the dragons. Perhaps he disagreed with their philosophy, or something like that. What did dragons even believe in, though? Were there dragon politics?
3. Zane could deny and all possibility to the situation. Perhaps this was just some other extremely handsome tall eyepatched blonde man she was thinking of.
Option 3 it was! Letting a little smile out, Zane chuckled. "Haha, I think you have me mistaken for someone else. I searched my brain far and wide, but I can't remember much about dragons..." While Zane was certainly hoping for fame these days, it would be worse if he was to spill the beans on all that too soon. The moment he and Lucas revealed whatever kinda plan they had in store had to be dramatic! It had to be in front of thousands! While Arisa was certainly attractive, even she wasn't a big enough audience for him. The story had to stay under wraps for the time being. "A lot of blonde guys in Fiore, after all!"
Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:56 pm
Her eyes got dark, solid with no pupils as she gazed at him with no facial expression. "But lying to me... is an offense. Why would my little brother lie to me?" She made a frown with the same gaze. "Tell me you won't lie to me again." She tilted her head as her plump beautiful lips parted a little and became a smile. Slowly, she approached his ear as she spoke quietly, "We all have our dark secrets, but how about we don't keep them from each other, huh?" She was trying to make him a deal. Ana was trying to crawl herself out of Kurisa by taking control of her, but Kuri and Arisa tried to fight that fact. A small gasp escaped her lips as she leaned back and away from Zane. Her eyes became normal into a brown and blue.
Sun Aug 16, 2020 3:22 pm
Staring into Arisa's now dark eyes, Zane was stunned. He couldn't make a face that had some comically surprised expression like he usually would. All he could feel was an intimidation that hit him all at once. This wasn't like the type of intimidation a demon would use. Zane already knew that he was immune to those types of things. This was the type of intimidation that was entirely though the way Arisa spoke, acted and looked. Zane stayed quiet, flinching a bit as Arisa came closer to his ear. Just who was this lady? What kind of woman did he stumble upon by chance? "Alright, sis..." Was all Zane could say, really. He had a feeling that things were take quite a turn for the south if he didn't agree with her here.
Soon after, Arisa seemed to have turned back to normal. Gulping, Zane wondered just what had happened there. Was it something similar to how him and Beezlebub worked? Zane couldn't be too sure. In his experience though, Beelzanebub would like undeniably way different from his own self, no matter how hard he tried. Something gave Zane the impression that wasn't any kind of takeover like the one that he himself possessed. Err, so..." Zane's eyes moved towards the door. Would he be okay if he stayed in this place? Arisa was without a doubt a nice lady, but that display certainly made him more wary. Had Zane walked into the spider's den by accident here? "When does this place close, Arisa?" Zane asked, thinking it was a question that didn't make it seem like he wanted to leave right away. Perhaps all he had to do was wait it out until the place shut down. If it even closed at all, that is...
Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:24 pm
She always had to let go.
"I do, he's a pretty nice guy. Sure his views are different than mine, but he's not a murderous hooligan.~" She spoke playfully, pretending to not be hurt from how she was feeling and all she was thinking. Her anxiety was starting to hurt as she kept thinking maybe he wants to leave. It turned out he probably did as he asked about the place.
Er, so...
When does this place close?
Those words spoke to her more than he probably realizes. It was alright she does not mind. He had things to do, everyone does. Her eyes lightened with her lips curving into a smile. "Oh?~ It's about to close. Look at the time!" She giggled and stood up straight. She went towards the door and opened it up for him.
I'm breaking...
"Here, I'll open the door and escort you out of the hall. Sometimes people can be silly." She kept going with this fake facade as she walked with him if he let her. If not, she gave him one last smile before disappearing into the physical wall that leads to the other side of the building, disappearing.
It hurts...
Before leaving she spoke once more.
"Shall you have the answers to your questions within yourself, one day or another.".
-exit-
Mon Aug 17, 2020 7:14 pm
Finally out of the building, Zane took a seat on one of the many benches in Hosenka. Sighing, he put his hands in his pockets and looked up to the sky. Thank god Beelzebub wasn't there to see all of that. "I was, though." Zane audibly screamed, insanely shocked at the demon just suddenly popping into his head like that. Clutching his chest as he took a moment to calm down, Zane talked to Beelzebub in his head. "The whole time?!" "Nah, just the second half." Zane let out a sigh of relief. Some of the earlier stuff was embarrassing... this also meant he could ask Beelzebub's thoughts on Arisa's odd change. "What do you think happened back there when her eyes turned black?"
Beelzebub let out a hmmm in Zane's head, trying his best to figure something out. Nothing came to the lord of the flies however. "Hard to say. I definitely got the impression that we were talking to two different people though. Not in a literal sense, more like a figurative one..." Zane looked down to his hands, wondering if Arisa really was in a spot similar to him. Could she also have a demon in her head, just like Zane did? Gulping, Zane wondered about how things would be with Beelzebub. The two had been together a while, but had they really grown to trust each other? It was far to soon for either of them to tell.
