For the past few days, Masami has been tagging along with his (adoptive) mother, Kurisa, doing quests for different clients all throughout Hosenka City. Although Masami falls under the impression that these will never end because of being a guild wizard (and respectively, if you're in a guild, you are often asked to do missions for certain people), a client named Weirdlock Jones has been requesting a series of missions, a single scenario that seemed to never end. Even if Masami has been with Kurisa, someone who was a higher mage in ranking, the issues never seem to stop. "Mother, wake up," he told Kurisa, shaking her arm as she lay drowsy upon the mattress. Masami has been used to making up before the sun has risen, doing morning chores while waiting for the sun to rise, then he'd be going to the marketplace to shop for groceries. Even if the refrigerator is filled with everything they needed, the old habit still had not died yet. So, he woke up his mother when the sun has shone through the windows as well, then he'd swipe the curtains to the side so that the sunlight fills the rooms. "It's morning," he said it as if it wasn't obvious, then he'd stare at Kurisa with his hands by his waists, trying not to nag. He doesn't have much to say; if she doesn't move, he'd poke her stomach and attempt to tickle her until she finally does. Sweet scent of rain started to fill the air, the windows finally opened – it must have rained last night. "You wanted to cook breakfast today, or should I serve them for you?" 277/2125 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |
Ouroboros Finale [QUEST; KURISA]

Her hair of multiple colors rested against the ground in a fan design. Her skin, every curve, and part of her body could feel these clouds as she was totally nude. Suddenly, the sun disappeared with some clouds engulfing the light. Slowly, it started to shower then it became where the sky cried quickly. It made her feel even cleaner as the droplets embraced her slick and curvaceous body. Her eyes of brown and blue mirrored the sky differently as one saw it as beautiful and the other as destruction. What was coming forth? Was someone going to give her happiness and then ruin it again?
Yea... It was like that dream she had before her run-in with Odin and died a few days after.
Someday the gods will cry out her name and people will look up to her. Her hand reached upwards towards the sky as it became the night. The stars started to appear as the clouds disappeared instantly. She will make her own path. Kurisa does not need a god to tell her what she should and should not do. She will herself judge mankind since she was down here doing the work. Where were they when she needed them?! They were watching...
The gods watched as her body was violated all those years ago. It messed her up mentally and every fiber in her being changed. Suddenly, she felt a budge oddly enough and heard a voice calling out to her. "Huh?" She wondered and closed her eyes real tight - making her wake up to see Masami beside her. Her eyes blinked a few times while squinting. She was not sure if she was dreaming still in a different setting or perhaps it really was time to wake up. She listened to Masami's question about food which to her pleasure she giggled and nodded. "Of course I'll cook.~ Anything you want, dear." She rolled out of bed and stretched with her arms outward, yawning.
Her back was hurting, but that was normal since she still had big bosoms yet a smaller frame with some meat to it, but not even to make it even as she was pretty curvy. Slowly, she put on her robe and went to the kitchen. Her feet felt great against the carpet as she then opened the fridge to cook them some food -- whatever Masami wanted.

When he saw her eyes blink, Masami leaned closer so that there'd eyes would meet, and that he'd be the first person she sees. "Good morning," he told her, accompanied by a smile that eventually transcended into a small chuckle. He was glad to know that Kurisa isn't dead, and nothing bad has happened while the two were asleep. "Anything, really," he answered her question, watching her stand back up for a stretch, "some meat, maybe?" Masami fixed the bed that Kurisa left onto, fixing and cleaning up people's messes (one way or another) never bothered him. That was a good thing, at least, as he now serves a Nephilim who had adopted him as her own, and it should be just to treat her fairly. "We also received a request from that same Weirdlock guy," he reminded Kurisa while following her down the halls, until to the kitchen, and he'd watch her pick ingredients from the shelves and watch her cook, "he wants us there immediately, so we can just pack the food and leave." How desperate is a client to ask the same people over the same request, over and over again? Masami was unbothered by it, however, but he wasn't so sure about Kurisa. She must've been tired, going through all these requests with no rest. If he had recalled correctly, Kurisa wanted rest in Hosenka, not getting into some weird gang problems. Even tough people get tired, too. Masami waited by sitting on a stool, watching Kurisa prepare whatever meal she'd like for today. "Maybe you'd like me to ask them to delay the request—for now?" 548/2125 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

Her hand twisted the knob to turn the flames to a medium and next grabbed her frying pans that were required for her food. "How hungry are you?" she asked sweetly with a happy smile, her eyes cornering to get a good look at him. One egg, two -- three egg, four as she started to crack them in a bowl to end up whisking them up to perfection while also adding spices and onions to the combination. She was happy to have Masami go get the groceries, but sometimes she felt bad getting him to do it by not going herself. Recently, she had been feeling weaker and sick, but she truly did not want him to know. She did not want anyone to know. The events from a few days ago made it worse and the missions did not help at all. The only thing that was helping was the company of her children.
She wondered if perhaps she should give Bri and Ri to the gods. Perhaps let them take care of them till they were old enough to live in the world. The same age she had to - twelve. After she was done with the eggs she poured it into the frying pan after spraying oil and let it fry. Next, she put the slices of bacon on the flat pan in the back with the ham. It all smelled really good as she next cut on serrano peppers, green onions, and garlic to mix it into some cream cheese. As it was cooking she listened to Masami talk about how the guy wanted them to come to him as fast as possible, but a little after that he brought up how maybe she would like them to delay the request.
She wanted to become stronger, constantly she felt the need to do missions and be with her son if not out drinking. "N-no, we can go after I'm done cooking." She responded to him and giggled towards his worry. She did not want him to worry much about her, he had his own problems. She inserted the filling, slid in some bacon that was cooked as well as chopped ham, and folded the egg a few times with the addition of cheese. A few times, it went into a wok. Swirl, swirl it went as she then went to grab some food pockets. "Gladly, these were invited, huh?~" She jested yet serious as she inserted the beautiful omelette into the food pocket for him to hold.
After that she grabbed onto the empty plastic water bottles and put juice mixed with verities of fruit, closing them soon after. "Alright." She patted her thighs covered in blue jeans. "We're ready then?~" She wondered, smiled at him happily. She twisted, grabbed her food and drink before going to the door once she put on her slip shoes on. "Food on the go - at it's finest.".

Different spices lay on the tabletop, inside different sizes and bottles of sprinklers. Masami, while waiting for Kurisa, decided to open each one, checking each scent. Ah, of course, Hosenka City has its' way of imitating the traditional Joyan, and Masami was no expert in scents. All these imitations smelled accurate, enough for an imitation, at least. Sooner or later, Kurisa will be done with the quick feast and packing; Masami would take the brought food from Kurisa's hands, saying, "Let me hold these for you." Looks like they decided to do the last mission, after all. Going to the Weirdlock Office has been quicker, since they have been going there quite often, recently. It wouldn't take the two of them longer than ten minutes to arrive by foot... at least, if they didn't see such a familiar face, too. "It's that Yomu guy," said Masami to Kurisa, tucking her away. He seemed to be on guard, was he looking for Kurisa and her son? Folding his lips into a shaky smile, Masami pulled Kurisa to the opposite direction of where they were supposed to pass. "I know an alternative," he told her, eventually leading her to the Weirdlock Office, albeit taking much more time than they should've. Masami walks pass here every morning, so he should have known his directions already, should he not? Upon arriving to the office, Masami had walked inside first. He greeted the Weirdlock in a casual tone of voice, "We're back," he said, his gaze venturing around the ceilings, waiting for the Weirdlock to respond. Pieces of paper scattered around his desk—he won't look at Masami nor Kurisa, so the boy had to intervene and pick the papers up for him to quickly scan, even though he wasn't so interested in it. "Yomu is dead?" he had asked, a brow raised at Kurisa, doubting the facts that were written in the papers. That was the first thing he saw when he picked the paper up, "No way," he shrugged at Kurisa, "we saw him a while ago. There was no way that he'd have an impostor, too?" As if Weirdlock was some mafia game boss, his chair turned for his body to face Masami. The same tattoo that he had warned the duo of, was located in his right pectoral muscle. What a plot twist! He'd think—double-crossing Kurisa and her son, as if they have not yet prepared for this sort of occurrence? Masami would smile, clapping as the Weirdlock congratulates the two. "Ah, so it was you!" Masami uttered with excitement, as if he was genuinely pleased to know the full story of the issue. "Yes, it was me," Weirdlock would then answer, "since you are so pleased, it is either that you defeat me, or serve me—serve the Black Dragons, become one of us." At this point, Masami would turn to Kurisa for her response. He wouldn't want to get into some gang business, but which is more challenging? Which choice is easier for them to handle? Masami's morals did not mind more crimson red stains, but these must be different in the eyes of the Nephilim. "Mother, what do you think of liars?" he'd ask her, a small smirk growing from the corners of his lips. His Pride wouldn't like being lied to, as well. 1105/2125 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

Steadily smiling, they went inside of Weirdlock's office. They started to talk and then when that one guy was brought up, it was like the Scooby-Doo gang being surprised who was under that mask. The guy seemed to really not care that they found out. he seemed really chill even. She wondered why he was being relaxed after it was now proven he was indeed the murderer. The angel was unsure how to feel about this. The guy was using them as the dirty cops who were witnessing and blaming others for someone else's stuff.
He seemed to be doing it though for the fact that he wanted both gangs gone. It was understandable, but at the same time, Kuri hated one thing more than most of the things she hated, being lied to. Her trust was the one thing many did not want to break. It reminded her of how everyone has been doing that recently. Her hand touched where her heart was. Why does she have to have one? Her eyes lids lowered with the under color of her eyes made a crescent moon shape. Was this perhaps the start of her own destruction? The thing that makes her really rethink her pathing?
He wondered about what she thought about liars while she was not really sure what she shall do. She was indeed an angel, but she was a twisted one thing to her creator. HE did this to her and someday she will repay him back. She will find the angel that made all this happen. Yet that was not the problem at the moment. Kuri licked her lips and bit the lower right part as her eyes gazed into Weirdlock's. "You know..." Her tongue went around inside her mouth, licking her canine as she was deep thinking this whole thing, maybe even over-thinking. It only took a second within real life though.
"I don't really like it." She snapped her fingers, creating a rather large circle underneath the man. A rather large purple eye appeared instead of a normal magical circle one would normally see. "I would really hate to do this, but liars are about as sinful as anything the gangs would do." Her voice was soft, breathy like silk against the wind. She made the shape perfected away from where they stood as Weirdlock was in the corner within it. Sure this guy was probably strong, but he was not as strong as this spell. Shame really. Kuri felt like Weirdlock had potential, but as he was in a bind, guards started to run in with their weapons and magic.
"I suppose we have to explain everything to them, huh. Shall we go take care of the members of the gang anyways or do you think we should let them rest in piece cause of this guy?" She questioned Masami since this was where she will test him. One of her tests.

Kurisa had Weirdlock Jones in a bind, and she was satisfied. Although Masami was, as well, about to feel the same satisfaction, his eyes didn't seem to move away from their one and only target – even though he was put in a state where he was unable to move, he had twitched from his spot. "Mother," Masami instinctively called out, alerting her that the Weirdlock will break out of the spell, a few moments from now. After he had called out, he stretched his arms downwards, calling forth a total of four spirit balls, in which charged at Weirdlock Jones in a row, obliterating his skin with flames. Certainly, that attack wasn't enough, so he had slid two of his fingers from the right shoulder to the left, and then pointed upwards: the magic circle that formed in the sky had dropped down in an abrupt manner, and a bright flame had formed in front of Kurisa's forehead, but not to Masami's. He had given her power, but in exchange, she must fight for him. His ears sensed different voices outside, their weapons clanging into each others'. Without the need of looking through the windows to see what was going on, Masami understood that the gang had started to fight with the city guards, trying to reach Masami and Kurisa from inside the Weirdlock Office, so apparently they were running out of time. The ceiling was too low as to fly, and Masami had no choice but to fight on foot, even if he was down low. Instead, he had swapped faces, the mask positioned correctly in front of his face. As they attack together, he spewed fire through the mask's mouth, directly to the target—Weirdlock Jones. Surely, such was a tiring spell, but he had to do it. 1405/2125 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」

Were the guards fighting the gangs? Why were they all here? Kurisa looked back to see Masami all dressed up and acting like weirdlock. It was quite obvious that Weirdlock was the one burnt into a crisp. She might be going mad, but she could tell from one to another. "What are you doing?" She questioned him like a worried mother. She wanted to make sure he was not going to come into the harm of any kind. She did not care about herself, but Masami was still so young. If she saw him get hurt then who knows what will happen.
Her heart beat nervously as she trusted him with a nod. "Do what you must. I will help the guards." She waved her hand to signal that she was leaving out the door. She licked her lips slowly as she entered outside. The place was gross as the smell was rather ghastly. She left the door and towards outside to see a guard get pushed against the building right away.
"M-miss, stay inside!" He pushed back a goon away from him. She saw some gangs slaughtering the guards and vice versa as they were just killing each other. It was rather bad. Whatever Masami was going to do, he should do it quickly. She was rather shocked by how much fighting there was since just a moment ago it was quiet, full of people even. So much can change within moments. A gang member came straight for Kuri as they changed full force. Swiftly, she slides towards the side as they swung their sword into the corner of the door. Her eyes saw splinters shatter from the wooden door itself. This was calling for more alcohol after this fighting, but maybe not today. Possibly another day since this bullcrap was rather getting ridiculous. Hopefully, this will be the end of it since Weirdlock was dead.

With a considerable amount of ignorance, Masami scoffed at Kurisa's answer, in which caused him a certain amount of confusion. He had thought that it was better to finish Weirdlock Jones off and let the guards outside fight the gang that were about to make an attempt in capturing Kurisa and her adoptive son – he had thought that it was quite a selfish answer to have found the need to help the guards—should she know that this sort of thing wasn't Masami's forte—he should have felt trust instead, and he knew that he should. He ignored what he felt despite knowing about his inability to do so, and Weirdlock was apparently still alive and equipped up; he stood there like a wax doll, in which had started to melt slightly in sweat, but still composed, probably because of magic. They didn't have to kill him, they just had to put him to a deep sleep. The office was a small place: not having enough space for a fitting battle, although it was better now that Kurisa used a spell that would bind him, however surely Weirdlock had enough strength to break out and join the fight in the next turn. Masami would cast as many spells as possible, like a gatling gun, rapid-firing until then he would decide to rest—that was Masami's initial plan, which was why he had his pinky finger right in front of his lips, however he had started to take notice of a person who had charged at Kurisa, but she had quickly stepped to the side to dodge it. Now, it was no longer Masami's concern, and the flames had taken control of Weirdlock's Office, whose owner had been set into a drowsy, tired state. Seeing that he shouldn't even try to push things to the limits any more, Masami walked out of the office before he gets burnt inside, too. Knowing Fiore's magic, surely, nothing will be too rash or gorey. Immediately after setting out, Masami raised a hand in the air, and immediately a magic circle formed to call forth a woman's gigantic hand—it swept Masami off of his feet, and now he sat still on its' palm as it flies him away from both the gang and the guards. He had watched them from high up, and he tried not to drop his wooden sandals from this height. He had also trusted Kurisa enough as to let her off alone, she was an X-Rank Nephilim, a non-human whom Masami sort of trusted; although angels didn't exist in Joyan myths and was never taught to Masami, he was however, convinced that she was the known "Megami," in which was definitely known in Joya. The Megami was too high for her to trust something like the Shuten-douji, so he had to fend off for himself with no god to worship, but Masami isn't the type to fit in that sort of mold. He clapped, resting his hands in front of his chest, and then spread them to the sides. Immediately, his actions resulted to short sparkling, in which diverged into a magic circle into the sky. It dropped down along with other spells that Masami had consecutively cast, and his magic was great enough to determine the friend from the foe. All who chose to do good and fight the evil will certainly feel not the wrath, but the blessings of the Shuten-douji, even if Masami was far from the one written in the books. In this angle, he had let everyone fight, while he flew up to support them instead. 2006/2125 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」

She felt sickened, disturbed at the thought, was reminded of that day. Her stomach became twisted into a knot. "Get away!" She screamed with tears as she put her hand against her heart. A Large leviathan shaped monster came out of the circle and chased after them. They felt no fear, but it did not matter. It devoured them and knocked them out to the floor. "No!" She kicked the knocked out men multiple times. If anyone came to hear her, she summoned a large circle above her that will explode and harm anyone near it.
"You should be dead!" She kicked the men multiple times as her past was scarring her. She remembered nothing about the men that day. In the end, she kicked the men in the face so much that no one could identify who they were. She did not notice it at all, but a guard slowly approached her to hold her back from doing anymore. "M-miss, you must control yourself." Kuri's eyes went wide, twisted to look at the random guard. She was about to kill him too, but then realized...
He was not the enemy...
He heart started to slowly calm down as she looked into his purple eyes. They were very pretty like grape wine. She could not see many details of his face since he wore a helmet, but it calmed her nonetheless. As the fight progressed she saw that all the gangs were either dead or were arrested. It was done with for now. Masami and her will probably end up talking about this later, but for now they got rewarded by the guards and went home.

With Masami's spells, everything seemed to be working fine. The gangs were overpowered by the now-buffer guys, who probably didn't understand why they were stronger and seemingly tougher, but Masami won't take credit for that. While he was up high, although he was obviously flying in the air, the gangs didn't seem to mind his watchful presence and continued attacking the guards, instead of thinking that perhaps it would have been better to go for the flying boy instead, because he might be the source of the guards' enhanced strength? From the corner of his eyes, Masami spotted a large serpent that had emerged from nowhere—too flashy to be a Joyan dragon—it came to chase the men that had cornered Kurisa, and then she had started to fight. Even when only the guards were left standing, she continued to attack. Masami thought that this was rather a histrionic way of fighting; he has seen fighters such as Tomoe, and then Rinni, but they were never as unusual as how Kurisa was acting like. Masami flew towards them, landing himself in front of Kurisa and the guards. "Let's go home," he told her, gently embracing her arm and smiling as if he had not thought this of wrong. 2215/2125 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |
