Approaching the tent, Zane was initially very worried about the condition he found the priest in. The once healthy looking man seemed to have fallen very ill. Even his words were slightly hard to make out. Zane felt truly lucky that he didn't catch whatever this was. Asking what he could do to help, Jerad explained that he was going to administer the potion himself, but his illness prevented him from doing so. Apparently most would only trust the potion from him, but he felt as though Zane was the next best thing. While it was clear the public wasn't going to be that accepting of Zane, having Jerad's word and his apparently good hearted personality meant that there was a chance he could persuade everyone to take the potion despite not being from Zane himself. Zane tried to heal Jerad first, but Jerad pushed the vial away, noting that everyone else should get the cure first. Smiling and admiring Jerad's goodheartness, Zane decided to look around the rest of the church first and see if there was anyone there who was in need of healing.
Zane received a bit of resistance at first. Some were willing to with just hearing about Jerad, but others were not as happy with just that. Zane had to persuade them that it was either drinking this or staying sick, and that seemed to work with a lot of people, seeing the logic behind it. Zane's hardest encounter was a young boy, one he had to be gentle and caring with. Luckily Zane was pretty alright with dealing with kids, so the boy was able to drink it without complaints in the end of it all. Finishing up the last of the patients in the church, Zane made sure there was nobody else and made his way back to the tent where Jerad was staying.
Giving Jerad a report of all the people he helped, Zane could tell that the man cared for every last person in that church. Eventually, Jerad himself took the potion, starting to feel a bit better. He gave the reward and a flask of something. Upon drinking it, Zane felt stronger. Jerad explained it was to help Zane to help people, basically meaning that his newfound power could make it easier to assist people in need. Thanking the good priest, Zane wandered off once again, thinking that it was likely the two would meet up in the future.
