Antoinette took the bag from the man and held it, her eyes never once leaving him. She watched as he took some of the salt from the bag with a scooping thing and threw that salt on the ground. The man then took out his staff and began drawing on the floor with the salt. Antoinette was just tall enough that she could see exactly what he was doing but she kept quiet and let the man work in peace. The two would then walk down the street and continue making salt drawings in the ground. Antoinette was even told to flick some salt at the doors and windows that they passed by. It all seemed a little odd to her but once again she did not question the man and his practices. He could tell that she was curious and he muttered something about demon sightings and dark cult dealings with the devil. He was merely cleansing the land in the event something bad were to happen, then it wouldn’t be so bad with him taking action now. Antoinette had to give the man some respect there and she continued to throw salt and she even helped him with his chants as according to him “ strength in numbers “ makes things like this stronger and it even helped that she was a vampire, so the magic poured into it would be very strong. By the time night fell fully the bag of salt had run out and the older man was rounding the last building with his salt drawing. He tried to get more but she figured he didn’t realize how much salt he was going through as the two went around town. With her job done she was thanked and rewarded before seeing the man off and leaving Dahlia to see what was going on in Magnolia.
