It was time to bid Myras City farewell. He had to return to Port Hargeon and regroup with the others, for as far as he knew, only he and Coda had stayed behind at the moment. There wasn’t many issues going on akin to a few months ago, when the barbarians decided to bully travelers and merchants passing by. Nobody was getting kidnapped or harassed in their own homes, either – all in all, it appeared that for now, no signs of triggers for new adventures were available here…
So Daiko packed his back, accompanied by dear Coda who perched on the chair in front of him. Their bag had to contain all that they needed for their journey back to Port Hargeon – all the snacks and meat, the daikons, the celeries, the beans, the seeds, all of the wild and edible.
With one swing, his filled leather bag was hung over his shoulder as he found himself walking through the gate, looking back at the wonders. Myras was such a strange city built on top of a mountain, unorthodox in comparison to the flatter cities further up north of Fiore.
“Maybe we’ll be needed here again, someday… although, I don’t hope so. It’s not like I want trouble to stir up while we’re gone – you hear me, Myras?! Behave, and don’t annoy your people! And tone down on the wine, please!!!”
