-Flashback-
Tired, she laid back her head against the wall. She was almost drifting off to sleep when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Quickly, she startled awake to see her cousin, Tadashi. He had bright pink hair like his mother with glasses and headphones around his neck. "It's my turn to stand watch" he spoke.
Lee was too tired to move and groaned. Tadashi got that as a sign that she wasn't going to move until she gotten some rest. He sat down and looked at his lacrima mp3 player for music. Without a word, he thought about something and turned to Lee. He had known her since they were young. For the longest time, everyone knew she was human, or thought so, but recently the past five years, she had changed into a demi0human or neko. Recent changes brought onto his thought about why his eldest brother would attack the family and rumors he was racist towards other races like Lee and others. "You know Lee, you're pretty special" he smiled.
The comment made her confused because it came out of no where. A contort look was expressed. "How?"
Tadashi gave a small smile and leaned forward to look at her. "You have seen the best and worst of both worlds. You were human before and now a demi-human. Not a lot of people have the chance to experience what both worlds are like. I have experience being human all my life, but you have both under your belt" he explained. Lee thought about it. She agreed since he had a point. It was something she didn't think about often. She never saw herself as a non-human race since it never bothered her like most people. Everyone who met her knew she was a capable person. "You can be the one that can bring our worlds together, Lee. I would love to see it happen someday. A safe place for both humans and non-humans to co-exist" he explained.
She blinked. Tadashi was quiet and never spoke his mind. Though, when he did talk, it was always extremely insightful.
That moment weeks ago had sent her thoughts into a spiral about a solution to the problem. Since joining Blue Pegasus, she had met more non-humans than humans such as Raymus and Atani. They all knew Blue Pegasus was a great guild, but it wasn't fitting well with either of them, especially Lee and Raymus. Atani she couldn't get a good read on just yet. "Here's your tea, ma'am" spoke a waitress. She handed Lee some peppermint tea that Aegis had suggested the other day. The tea soothed her thought as she carefully sipped the hot liquid. Setting it down, she looked at her exceed friend. Lector was busy trying to eat his sandwich with his small paws. "I am sure homesick. Wonder what Atani or Raymus are doing right about now" she spoke out loud.
