Looks like the guy was right…? Once more the sound of something screaming through the air seeming to alert the port of Hargeon that their less-than-favourite visitors would soon arrive to make their unwelcome presence known, the crack of cannons on the horizon sent spheres of metal and menace hurtling through the air in order to ruin the day of the people below in a manner which was almost becoming comedic, but on this occasion something seemed to prevent them from reaching their mark. This attack not one that caught all unawares and instead a woman sitting on the back of a winged steed with reins in one hand and a mass of mana in the other as she caught sight of the projectiles headed toward her home, she closed the lid over her left eye and used the powerful enhancement in her other lens to track the path of the belligerent balls, and then employed the effect of her Black Hole spell in order to drag them into an abyss that would ensure nobody would be harmed by their assault. Well, nobody innocent at least.
At least this time they waited until after breakfast…! Ahead of the 'game' because of the little investigation she had been doing as she looked into the cause of all those recent raids or attempts of them on her new home and finding out some rather telling information which predicted there would be a strike in the coming days, because of this she and the strength of her guild had stood ready and able to defend the town from the prediction of piracy, though as she dipped downward through the air on the back of her stellar steed she would have been lying if she said that she wasn't glad that it had come when she and her wonderful wife had been on watch.
“I think our guests have arrived, my love~” After all nobody seeming to be wishing to be rid of the menace more than the master of the Pegusi and the girl whose beloved Uncle had become of the most well-known hunters of sea dogs in the world, while usually she might have been far more loquacious as she landed on a rooftop next to the woman she loved the lass was all business today, and wanting to finally put these attacks behind her sooner rather than later. Salutations flooded with a saturation of sweet words could wait, after all, the performance of her partner was sure to inspire plenty, now wasn't it?
