He let out an annoyed sigh. Truth be told, if it weren't for his magic disappearing, then he would have already killed the man and kept shopping. Though, at the moment he was only a simple human. He still had his physical attributes, but he could use no mana whatsoever. Nodding his head, Ariael would find himself following the old man to his shop where he was instructed to wait till night time. Ariael would go to the back where an office was and sit down in a chair. Pulling out an apple from his bag, he would begin the wait.
The evening had already been close to ending, so the darkness would soon come. It had taken him a couple of minutes to eat the apple and that was all it took for the sun to slowly set under the horizon. He would see the golden light from the window be replaced with the glistening silver from the moon. The environment was quiet and Ariael did his best to sit still while waiting for the thieves. As he waited he would begin to wonder why the man would trust a random stranger to guard a shop alone. A small smirk would creep across his mouth just as he heard the front door being pushed open with extreme force.
"Looks like they're already here." murmured Ariael while discarding the eaten apple. Exiting from the office, he would see two assailants and quickly begin his attack. They were ordinary individuals, so a quick punch to one's jaw would instantly knock him out. Turning to face the other, Ariael would duck low and perform a swooping kick that would sweep the man off his legs. The man would fall to the ground and as he fell, Ariael would rise and perform a downwards kick right on top of his head.
"Well that's settled." settled he whispered. During the fight, he still had his bag thrown across his shoulder. Opening it up, he would begin shopping in the store for any valuables he could sell and any other things that he would need during his journey in Fiore. Ariael had swept a couple racks clean. Afterwards he would exit the store and find himself wandering the streets in the dead of night. Who knew where his legs would lead him this time. Maybe he would be able to find the prey he long sought after? But that would probably take some time...
