Zexion
The day had begun like no other, Zexion was lying carelessly within the confines of his chamber. He smiled as the sun hit his face as it was the start of a new day. Zexion had recently just got out of jail and had cleared his conscious but he had quite a bit of thing he still had to do. He began to sit up, yawning a bit, then looking over at his clean house. He was always glad that his family had given him the good lessons of being clean. This thought quickly dampened Zexions mind as he began to think a lot of his late family. Zexion scoffed and realized that it was a little bit early than his usual time and then laid back in bed.

"What's there to do today", He wondered as he closed his eyes and dozed off for a bit more time. After some time had passed he awoke and got to his daily regimen as usual. He walked over to his pantry and began to make a power house breakfast all to himself. He scrambled some eggs, cooked some bacon and poured some milk, and set it on the table. He was quite happy.

He then laughed and had a great meal. Eventually, upon finishing he went and washed his dishes and then quickly fixed his day together. It was time for a job, He had only done a job when he was a C Rank Mage back when he was in his darkest of times but this was not going to make him falter. After showering and putting on his black get- up he finally made for the door.He was walking through the streets of the city of Era, Rune knights and civilians and the occasional mage were out and about today. It seemed like another lively day was here during the time of peace and prosperity. Zexion laughed as he stopped by a random candy store. He entered the area and looked around. He found his favorite kind of candy, Saltwater toffee, It was laying there begging to be eaten. After paying for it all he had finally gotten himself up to speed. His next destination was the city center of Era. He accidentally bumped into a group of hooligans who looked at Zexion with anger. Zexion smiled and apologized quickly to the group as the candy was just too good for him to pay much attention to.

The men scoffed and quickly walked away from the boy who was enjoying his candy a little bit too much. Finally, he had reached his destination and looked at the job postings. He had seen that there was a familiar job he had taken once before, it was to drive out and deal with the many evil gangs who were still wreaking havoc over the city of Era.

"Some things just never change", Zexion said as he accepted the job posting by pulling it off the billboard of jobs. Zexion then made his way to the individual who had posted the job listing. He had reached a giant house, it looked like a house of a noble. Zexion knocked on the door and a man had answered. The man looked left and right then looked straight down at Zexion, this man was quite tall. Zexion opened his eyes and looked at the tall man. The man was tall, slender and he was well dressed. The man invited Zexion in and quickly filled him in on what the issue was. The man bellowed and laughed as Zexion introduced himself as the mage that was going to help. The man then began to let Zexion know with a quick introduction

"I am a noble of Era, I am looking for someone to help the Rune Knights stop a gang war from taking place tomorrow in the evening. Please, I'm not sure if you are up to the task but if you feel like you are then the more power to you. Of course, the reward will be handsomely big for someone that can successfully stop and dethrone the gang leader of the Yellow Coyotes or the Leader of the Arctic Bears."

Zexion listened intently and was given the rundown on what he needed to do, He was then given a Rune Knight Badge for temporary volunteer work so that it would not cause any ruckus with the Rune Knights if Zexion is seen on the battlefield. Of course, Zexion took the badge and placed it in his pocket until the upcoming battle. Zexion then asked, "Why are they fighting if you don't mind me asking?" The man looked around the room and then quickly whispered into Zexions ear, "Well word on the street is that its over a powerful lacrima that's said to grant whoever eats it the power of a lightning warrior... something like that, But it's just a rumor."

Zexion

Zexion was giddy and upset, He hated lightning because it was his main weakness and he thought back to his battle with a lightning dragon slayer from a month ago whom he teamed up with a man named Miyamoto to stop. Zexion was done talking, He stood up and waved at the man, "You can definitely count on me!", He said as he made his way out of the noble's house and walked back into the streets of Era. It was quite late, so Zexion went and grabbed some grub from a nearby pizza parlor and made his way home for preparation for tomorrow's job.



The next morning was finally ahead of Zexion, He awoke in his bed once again contemplating and preparing his mind for the battle that was coming up next. He quickly got up and began to stretch in front of his bed, he was ready for the fight. Zexion then quickly made the same breakfast he had made earlier and then took a shower and began to get dressed. He made his way down the stairs and away he went, He was in the streets of the Glorious Era. Zexion walked through the streets, today there were not as many people as yesterday

There was an abundance of Rune Knights that were walking around. He approached the poor side of the town and approached a group of Rune Knights, "Who are you? Little kids should stay indoors", Said one of the elderly-looking knights as he looked at Zexion from head to toe. Zexion pulled out the Emblem he was given and showed it to the Rune knight. He then nodded and said, "Welcome aboard lad". Zexion was then given a position and a battalion he was to support. He was in the battalion of warriors that were going in first, it seemed the noble had put in a good word of Zexion so he had no choice but to enter the fray as soon as he possibly could. Zexions heart rate increased, this was what he loved, the thrill of battle always enticed Zexion and he was definitely prepared for it. Zexion then lined up, he was in line with a bunch of Rune Knights, but they were staying away from where the battle was taking place.

Around this time, loud yells and explosions could be heard from ahead. It seemed the battle had finally begun. The elderly man had gotten in front of the Rune Knights and began to yell at them

"This battle will be long and hard, our objective is to take the heads of both the Leaders of the two opposing gangs. Many people will lose their lives, BUT we will give our lives to this country and for peace. LOVE EVERYONE AND LOVE PEACE. ONWARDS MY MEN"

The Rune knights stood there with passion raging through their eyes, Everyone here was passionate about this battle. Everybody of course wanted peace and even violence can help create peace if used the right way.

"CHHHHHHHHHHARRRRGGGGEEEEE! RAGE MY WARRIORS! FIGHT MY WARRIORS!"

Every single person in the Battalion charged through the city until they had reached the battlefield. The Battle field was large, many people were on the ground. There were two different sides but Zexion rushed ahead of everyone. There was a group of Ten Gang members right in front of Zexion. A sword of water was forming in both of Zexions had and he went in with a crescent slash. Zexion slashed the first five members of the gang taking them out then he quickly jumped up and did a flip in the air. A magic circle had appeared in front of Zexion's face and he let out a roar.

"ROAR OF THE WATER DRAGON", A giant vortex of condensed water shot out and was launched at the unsuspecting group of gang members nearby taking out a bunch of them at once. Zexion was not through yet. He saw up ahead there were two men that stood out from everyone. They were massive. The real fight was about to begin as Zexion rushed and stopped in between both the leaders.


Both the leaders were unaware of who Zexion was but it did not matter, The Arctic leader swung his sword towards Zexion, but Zexion had parried it with his water weapon. He deflected the strike and aimed his sword at the mans head. Instantly the man dodged the strike and jumped back. The water weapon dispersed from Zexions hand and then quickly Zexion clapped his hands together. A Magic circle had appeared underneath the Arctic leader and a raging torrent of water shot up and destroyed the first man. Eventually, something dropped from the man's back pocket and Zexion went over and picked it up. It was the lacrima, He knew what this was. It was the dragon slayers lacrima. Zexion felt a jolly of adrenaline and he quickly ate the lacrima without thinking

Zexion then began to choke on the contents of the lacrima. The Other leader quickly rushed at Zexion with a boa staff and swung. The strike hit Zexion clean in the face but it didn't even phase him. Without any warning, lightning began to swirl around Zexion and his body began to change. The Water powers of Zexion were slowly leaving him. He then was radiating electricity and lightning. Shots of lightning and energy swirled around the area, Nobody moved as they watched Zexion transform. A giant explosion occurred and a crater was left underneath where Zexion stood. His eyes had changed and went from blue to yellow. He looked at the first man and smiled. Instantly he began to disperse himself and became a bolt of lightning. He then appeared behind the leader and charged a fist full of magical energy. "LIGHTNING DRAGONS CLAW"


Zexion had hit the leader clean in the face, lightning torrented throughout the area causing the Rune knights and the gang members to watch as Zexion had defeated both the leaders. The leader was not breathing, he had taken the heads of both of the gangs main members. Zexion was victorious, the gang members then began to surrender. How could they fight without their leaders in hand. Zexion smirked as he walked past the elderly Rune knight and walked past him. Lightning still surrounded Zexion as he walked away from the fray. He was headed over back to the Noble's house. Upon reaching the noble's house, Zexion knocked on the door and the familiar noble answered with delight.

"I HEARD YOU DID IT, BOY! YOU SAVED ERA!", The man yelled in tears of joy and love in his voice. Zexion smiled but he did not say anything, he knew he could not let his emotions loose as he might lose control of his newfound abilities. Life was now different, Zexion had evolved from the Dragon of the Ocean Currents, To the Dragon That would slay the thunder. Zexion was content as he took payment for his job and was walking back to his house. Zexion stopped by and used his earnings to get some food. The job had been accomplished.
