Kai shows up just before the shop is open for business, Khalash greets Kai. ”Great you are here a bit early I like that it is a good start. You will be the man behind the wheel today so I may look at new wares in which i may want to add to my wares. ” The man begins making sure if Kai know where everything is and to remain out of the back store room. Kai understanding the simple commands and orders bows. ”Don't scare any customers away with that get up either.” Kai nods not saying a word and the shop owner makes his way out of the shop and off on his way to see new wares.

Kai removes his mask and cloak revealing his hair is braided, groomed and he looks super clean cut and professional, he has on fake round glasses, his clothes are more dress like so he fits in and doesn't look out of place and his gloves are more sleek then the usual one he wears for fighting. Kai opens the shop and a few people filter in here and there asking him simple questions about items and their costs, thanking and bowing to every customer that buys or enters and leaves. Kai makes sure the shelves stay in a neat fashion and product looking good on the counter to entice customers to buy them.  Kai sees a group of teenagers about to enter the shop.

Kai bows as they cross the threshold into the store. ”Welcome in and I hope you find what you are seeking or if need be I can help you acquire it. ” The teenagers look at him and start laughing. ”I guess the gramps retired and sold it to a giant soft looking oaf.” Kai lets the comment slide off of him like water. The teens look at some of the wares on the far side of the shop and they plot to try and bum rush at Kai to try to see what is in the backroom but the second they take a step to try it, kai turns to them looking them in the eyes.

”If you lot try to even cross the line of the counter, even Illumin won't be able to save you from me.” The group wonders how he knew their plan. Kai had placed a short distance communication magic stone up under a shelf to listen for shop lifters before he opened the shop, just in case someone thought they could pull one over on the new vendor. The whole time the group is in the shop Kai's eyes follow them unnerving them, till they can't take it anymore and they leave and kai bows. ”We hope to serve you again”

Kai returns to his duties and keeping the line and wait times short and shooting the breeze with some of the older folk coming looking for gifts for their grandchildren and they are happily served and on their way with Kai doing the bow and the leaving message, when it gets to closing time Kai locks up and gets redressed in his mask and mask sitting down and waiting the last bit of time for khalash to return him being a bit later then he had said he would.

Khalash comes hustling up to Kai thanking him and handing him his reward at seeing his shop is neat and not destroyed by anyone and that he hadn't heard any news of Kai causing chaos in the shop or with customers and the backdoor is still firmly shut tight as he left it. Kai puts his reward away and heads home feeling he has done a good days work.
