Vex
Another request comes for her, to again take on another tournament, she sighs not really into fighting people, as she is not really built for battle sports more team battles where she can buff and heal and if need be attack. She brings the same two as her last quest hoping that maybe they will be holding this as a group battle she had been hearing about and not another single battle style tournament, they arrive and to her luck it is the team battle tournament but she wonders why it wasn't listed as that in the quest. she sees the booth and she signs up for the tournament with the other two, then realizes it is a random draw tournament so there was gonna be a random chance she would have to face her own cultists. She works her magic and she steals her cultists numbered balls so she can fake to draw them later.

They ask eight people to be leaders and Vex put her hand up for it and she was picked. They have the chosen leaders start walking up one by one to draw and then Vex is called up and she reaches in and fakes pulling the two balls of her cultists, they are dressed in normal battle clothing not in their cloaks, they are excited that their mistress had pulled their numbers as they thought it was fate they ended up on her team. She smiles at them not wanting to ruin their belief of Tutrix willing it to be as such. The champions team is two huge bulky men and a small woman. She figures the small woman is their healer or their sorcerer, the big guys had the tell tale signs of a berserker and a spellsword so their team was balanced well if the woman was a healer. Her team is reliant on her adventurer front liner staying on her feet and her sorcerer being able to keep them busy and drop damage.

She believes in her team but she knows the championship fight is gonna be rough with it as it is. She takes a breath and starts thinking up a game plan for the first fight they were gonna be undertaking, which looked to be a sorcerer, a hunter and a spellhowler. She didn't figure she would see so many support type mages entering into this tournament, but she figures she was probably an outlier in the first tournament, even though she is well learned in fighting and nimble to boot. She gives her game plan to her teammates that they need to take care of the sorcerer then the howler and the hunter should fold after that. The female cultist speaks up saying they should take the hunter first, cause they had a sword and if she moved forward they would rush the male cultist, Vex smirks at her with an I know look.

”You are sharp, I didn't expect less from you, as a chosen. He is gonna be the bait to lore her in and restrain her. ” The female cultist looks shocked that she might of underestimated her mistress, Vex shakes her head at her with a sweet smile to but the girls mind at ease. The female cultist smiles back knowing that her concerns where well met and that her leader had thought about it before hand and had planned for it. She readies her sword ready for their fight to start and they are called walking out the girl feels her knees slightly shaking and the male cultist pats her on the back and smiles at her to let her know he will be watching her back and their mistress will have their back. The enemy team walks up and the hunter girl looks at points her blade at the girl like she was targeted, Vex takes note of that.

The fight starts and the hunter makes a b-line for the female cultist, and the female cultist doesn't flinch or let the hunter get into her head, Vex lifts her arms fast and protects the female cultist from a spell that was thrown at an angle to stay out of her view while she was distracted by the hunter. The male cultist lets loose a flurry of chains onto the enemy sorcerer knowing the plan has changed from the one Vex had made for them because they weren't targeting him they were after the female cultist. The enemy sorcerer crumbles under the chains and the spellhowler lets loose a debuff onto Vex who slightly takes a hit to her Intelligence, the spellhowler snickers seeing the woman half close one eye. The female cultist  parries the hunter and then backflips kicking her under the chin and the hunter stumbles backwards and the male cultist runs forward jumping with chains wrapped around his fist and punches the hunter into the ground knocking her out.

Vex looks at the spellhowler with an evil smirk and the man drops to his knees in fear as the two cultists run forward toward him and both hit him sending him sliding after he dared to attack their mistress. The clear the stage after it is announced they are the winners of the fight. Vex makes sure their wounds are tended to as she knows if she didn't they would fake being fine even if the were gravely wounded. The male cultists hand is cut up from the chains he used on his hand when her delivered that finishing punch to the female hunter. The female cultist is unharmed due to Vex protecting her and the male cultist coming to her aid to help finish the fight hunter. The next team they face is a team of three berserkers, so they are going to be overwhelming, Vex looks to the champions team that looks well rested and ready to crush who ever dare step up to fight them.

Vex tells them she is gonna hit them and debuff them then they run in and use the limited weakening of them their limbs to make it count and not get themselves killed cause these guys look like they are not gonna hold back just cause two of them are women. They get out there and this fight goes to plan Vex catches all three men in her AoE spell and weakens them her team mates jumping on the opening and taking them down like they were children. The two cultists pray to Tutrix after this win cause it had looking into it looked like it would be nasty on them. Vex and her team stay there as the champions team walks out and at closer look seems the small woman is not a healer but a killer, the one she thought was a spellsword is a paladin. The cultist look to Vex cause they know the plan will not work and Vex winks at them and gets ready and signals them to get ready as well.

The berserker is hot off the gate when the fight starts, the female cultist tries to duck and dodge his attacks but is still getting hit with glancing blows, not being able to mount any offence, Vex points and buffs her endurance to keep her on her feet then sends a heal to her, The male cultist is keeping a defensive zone to react in if Vex might be attacked, cause the assassin disappeared after walking behind her own team mates. The paladin rushes in and the male cultist uses his chains and flings the paladin away, the assassin comes in from behind Vex who backflips and comes down with a heavy stomp with his heels into the would be assassins arm hearing it snap under her stomp. The woman lets out a scream of pain, the male cultist has sealed the paladins magic use attempts and knocked him out, the female cultist gets her second wind and starts taking it to the berserker finishing him off with a war scream. The fight is called and Vex and them leave the area and are paid as they are leaving their cut of the prize money. Vex tells them she is proud of them as they head for home.
